Man,I just fell in love with another one Patrick!!! Even though a black with white stripe car will always be my favorite, this one is right there too!!! I love what you do with these 70 chevelles. They are my soul mate muscle cars!!! Damn I wish I could afford that car!!!! I'd sleep next to it every night and make sure to always talk nice to it!!!!! Much love and hope you are having a great summer!!!
Ur videos are the best I can find!!! And the way you take the time to teach and not just assume we all kno this stuff so with a teacher like that I have learned more from your channel then I have anywhere else (except hard work ) but thank you brotha for all the knowledge and I hope to be contacting you one these days hopefully sooner rather than later about a inspection 🧐 before I buy my first chevelle thanks again and keep up the great videos
Love your videos Patrick, learned so much about my 70 SS 396. I bought my car from past and present in fl. It's been invited to Philadelphia concourse d'elegance and Chattanooga concourse d'elegance, I place in every local car show. Numbers matching L34,m21 learned it was the only 48-48 Chevelle built in van nuys, it's now panted tuxedo black. I also learned from you that my rad is incorrect , other than that the car matches the build sheet. If you get to the Philadelphia suburbs, would love to have you evaluate my car. I learn so much from your videos, keep them coming! JR pennsburg pa
Could you imagine being a kid obsessing about this car and getting one. But then making a living off of the hobby. I can tell his original car is his prized possession. Good dude.
Man oh man, I love the 70 SS Chevelle's, I could stare at them all day. My fav colors are Forest green & Tuxedo black, but that color is sweet too. Does the owner still maintain the Auto trans? I didn't hear he did. Most people accept the original drive train to be matching #'s, close enough. To have a car with all OEM is tops though.
Great video man! How much does that affect the value not having the original transmission in the car? Most perfer the 4 speed over a automatic transmission in a LS6 Chevelle. Love the color combo. Have a good one Buddy 👍
If you see a Oshawa built black cherry near Reno, nv it use to be mine , sold back in 2002 , exact appearance as that one but day 2, like I ran them back in the day ! Award winning Super Chevy street machine !
Yes agree love them.... I had two 70Ss Chevelles... one matching number original, and one non original w mods. Drove them both pretty hard and enjoyed them. Check out this older camcorder video of my red one on street and at the strip....ruclips.net/video/6JqspXe0lDo/видео.html
What the happened? I was really getting into your videos and then like almost everyone else you stopped posting. I'm a MOPAR guy but i was a teenager in the 70s and have a love for all 60s and 70s muscle cars. Hope to see more exellent videos. Ya I understand you have a life.
my dad has a 72 nova drag car. i looked up the vin on it. it was assembled at the Norwood OH plant. i dont know if it was originally a 250 inline 6, 307, or a 350 though. it said the engine was unknown when i looked it up. where the 5th digit for the engine is, it has an M instead of a D, F, H, or K.
@Patrick Glenn, how can I get a copy of my build sheet for my 71 Chevelle? So far, I found out that mine was built in (R) for Arlington Texas 36 for Malibu, 37 Sports Coupe off the chevelle stuff website.
There was a supposed LS6 car at a big car show in Deadwood South Dakota last year that looked identical to this one. Don’t know if it was legitimate. Really nice car though.
Great, great, great video!! Man, your wealth of knowledge and detail with Chevelles is incredible! One question for you. I know when I am looking at a 66 or 67 Chevelle SS that the VIN number starts with 138. My Question to you is when did it change to 136 and why would Chevrolet not want to be consistent with the VIN number process? Thank you!!
Great video Patrick! Was wondering how many of these black cherry ls6's where made with white interior with a bench seat ? I had one in the early 80's and could kick my self for ever getting rid of it !
Why do some interior door badges on the SS Chevelles read SS and others say Malibu? Does the plant where the car was built have anything to do with the badge differences?
That was 1969, and they only made a small amount, like 75 or something. In '70 through '72, there was no post or sedan two door Chevelle. They were all hardtops. But the Buick, Olds, and Pontiac, A-body offerings could still be ordered as two door sedans, complete with the B-pillars and vent windows.
Patrick. I have an old friend who had a 70 SS 396. Black -stripe delete. Red interior column shift. Spruced up over the years. If you stumble upon anything like it lemme know please. Thanks
I was curious about the dents in the oil pan too. The low part of the pan is right behind the main frame cross-member. There is no reason for it to have all those dents in it, unless, as you say, the engine was out of it and on a gravel parking lot. Or driven Dukes of Hazzard style. I do like these videos though.
The cowl tag rivets do not look original to me. They look like they're either filled in with solder or they are some type of convex hull rivet. I'm not a cowl tag expert, but I have seen plenty of original ones. Am I missing something? Great car and great video!
dude....my 70 SS had a 4:56 rear end and micky thompson slicks would pull the front end off the ground - went through a dozen A frame bushings in 10 years (I was getting about 7 miles to the gallon, but gas was 0.55 a gallon) LOL
How bout those screws in the radiator support😂😂 Steering wheel changed Complete Reproduction interior Repro hood pin plates Repro headlights Radiator support replaced and we know why that would get replaced Incorrect Exhaust manifolds Oldsmobile wheels 😀 Welds on the quarter panels ground away Should I keep going And this car was endorsed? Endorsed as what? These some made up cars
Who in their right mind would care about the shocks on it at present lol? It’s an original LS6 454 4.10 cowl induction car, that’s what’s being endorsed. Basically none of these cars retain 100% authenticity. PGN has endorsed cars with no engine even present on site if I’m not mistaken.
Is this a video to show a very nice old car which it is, or a bingo game tryout. The niner niner 59 6ty two 11 b75 a 89 zoom switch button. It's an old car. Stuff has been replaced just like the rest of them.Thank you for sharing 🤦♂️
A friend had bought a L78/4 speed car in Black Cherry with white stripes, vinyl roof and interior. Gorgeous.
I look for a new video every day. Love Patrick’s knowledge of these cars.
Patrick knows practically every nut and bolt on these cars for sure!!!
Beautiful car, great job again Patrick 👍
Love the color. This car is a real looker. Thanks for the video
Glad these cars are still around!
Really liked how he started from the bottom first
It's all in the details
Great video
Beautiful Chevelle ..... thanks for bringing it us Patrick!! You get the 8 out :)
Look dammm sweet the way it is... great color, great build!
Thank you for the Video Patrick, All the best to you.
I had a 70 SS454 that same color combo in 1985-87. This video makes me miss it even more. Should have held on to it. Thanks for the great video!!
Superb job Patrick! I love this darker red on these cars also!
That is a beauty! Oh man that black cherry! Stunning! Makes a guy slobber almost lol!
Man,I just fell in love with another one Patrick!!! Even though a black with white stripe car will always be my favorite, this one is right there too!!! I love what you do with these 70 chevelles. I’ll thank you from Patrick. Sounds like he’s to busy to respond.
Thanks Patrick 😊 Absolutely Beautiful ❤️
Wow!!! Really cool!
That's a nice one. I'm glad you got your audio sorted out.
Very nice 70 Chevelle SS LS6.
Mine was fathom blue w/ white stripes.
Great video Patrick, God bless!!

You are a great gentleman.I live in Cincinnati alot of great cars came out of Norwood Ohio.
Another excellent presentation. Awesome car! Thank you for your great work.
Happy Happy Happy day!! A new Patrick Glenn Nichols Muscle Car Barn Find video!!!!
one of the gorgeous colors
Wow, another beautiful chevelle.
Been waiting for your next video!!! Love your work!!!!
Thanks Patrick
Could you imagine being a kid obsessing about this car and getting one. But then making a living off of the hobby. I can tell his original car is his prized possession. Good dude.
El camino 12 bolt? Has holes for the shields on the mounts for the lower controller arms. I would say it's a Re stamped housing.
!!! That is a Nice One right there Patrick.. Right On 👍
I did enjoy the presentation, only wish I was the purchaser.
11:01 It's great to see the undercarriage addressed with all the details.
It's a gorgeous car.

outstanding car, so beautiful

Awesome car and video !
Just love the channel
good lord that's a beautiful car.. omg
That car is perfect .
will there be a discount for the dent on the hood?
That dealer has a lot of Chevelles. Did you see any others there that “caught your eye”?
They make very nice lite weight phone stands….I would invest $20 in one
what happened to that video from Volo finding that elcamino had a restamped block?
The sexiest car ever built...

CURIOUS N MAYBE IM ASKING TO SOON AS THE VIDEO IS NOT OVER BUT WHAT YEAR WAS IT SWITCHED TO A 4 SPEED? ID ASSUME VERY EARLY CORRECT?
Great color
Do we ever get to know what a particular car brought
Patrick, for a Monday, you do awesome fish fry's
When you have all the original wheels is it common that they may have different dates on them, like a couple weeks different?
@Patrick Glenn, how can I get a copy of my build sheet for my 71 Chevelle? So far, I found out that mine was built in (R) for Arlington Texas 36 for Malibu, 37 Sports Coupe off the chevelle stuff website.

How much were they asking for the car?
Patrick would that car be worth more with the th400 in it or as I would want it as a 4 speed even though they did a great job with the swap
Great, great, great video!! Man, your wealth of knowledge and detail with Chevelles is incredible! One question for you. gorgeous Chevelle
Excellent video Patrick! What color would the bottom of the body be painted on a Van Nuys CA. built '70 Chevelle?
Why do some interior door badges on the SS Chevelles read SS and others say Malibu? Does the plant where the car was built have anything to do with the badge differences?
Would you have authenticated this car if a build sheet was not found?
It was already registered, so if the build sheet had been lost it wouldnt matter. His endorsement is just more detailed about date coded parts etc.
Patrick, have you ever ran across an LS7 Chevelle? If so, have you done a video on it?
Patrick were there ever any 70 SS chevelle made in post 2dr?
No
That was 1969, and they only made a small amount, like 75 or something. In '70 through '72, there was no post or sedan two door Chevelle. They were all hardtops.

Hey Patrick! Very cool car!!! Are the rims period correct? Thanks, Louis from France.
I think he said 2 are 2 aren't, one is off and Old's..
Best color
Why did you remove the video of your 1970 Red SS454 Chevelle???
Gleen how much did he sell this car for
LRIGHT, ALRIGHT, ALLLLRIIIGGHHT!!
Patrick there is a man in Union City Tn. that has a 70 model convertible with around 800 miles on it. It also has AC. He would like to speak to you.
Patrick what car do you own?
Nice.
Sweet
the oil pan shows the engine was out of the car on the ground . The vin may be correct but this car is a tossed salad .
I wanted to hear it.
The cowl tag rivets do not look original to me. They look like they're either filled in with solder or they are some type of convex hull rivet. I'm not a cowl tag expert, but I have seen plenty of original ones. Am I missing something? Great car and great video!
That is the weakest car lift I have ever seen. Whats holding it up atmospheric air pressure?
Hopefully the items that are incorrect, will be replaced at some point.
What's the price
A 4:10 rear end car. Wow the original owner didn't care about gas mileage.
dude....my 70 SS had a 4:56 rear end and micky thompson slicks would pull the front end off the ground - went through a dozen A frame bushings in 10 years (I was getting about 7 miles to the gallon, but gas was 0.55 a gallon) LOL
I had a ls 5 454 with a 4:10 rear ,it had a 4 speed and I got 12 mpg but gas was 40 cents lol
People didnt buy an LS6 454 car for gas mileage.
How much
I'd believe Patrick is on par w/ Galen Govier for Mopars as well as a Marti Report for Fords.
How bout those screws in the radiator support😂😂
Steering wheel changed
Complete Reproduction interior
Repro hood pin plates
Repro headlights
Radiator support replaced and we know why that would get replaced
Incorrect Exhaust manifolds
Oldsmobile wheels 😀
Welds on the quarter panels ground away
Should I keep going
And this car was endorsed? Endorsed as what?
These some made up cars
The VIN is original? 😃
👍
What if somebody who wants to buy it doesn’t believe that your “certificate” is real? Lol or believable. How do you even start something like this
So it’s not a 4 speed car, incorrect shocks and their are various other changes. I’m sorry, but I would not certify it. It’s just a clean 70 SS

🤦♂️
Beautiful car, I wish that GM included AC on the LS6 cars
Resonators on a Chevelle just don't belong
My friend is hellcat swapping a 1970 Chevelle convertible it was a 396. You think that'll increase or decrease the value of the car ⁉️🤔...🫣
Take a guess
Increase 🙄
