Is this your first time using a diagnostic scanner automobile? The diagnostic test equipment sorta holds your hand as you go through the different sections and subsections.
I want too use odo meter adjustment on a toyota vehicle but it seems not too have a list on the odo meter options. May ik what too do for having that options do i have too purchase anything or what?? Your responses would be appreciated heaps thanks

I would do an update. I'm not sure what market you are in as we have the Toyota Tacoma. I wish I could help more but I have not tried scanning a non us vehicle.

hello Randomfix. Of the 16 GB of storage you have, how many GB are left free for future updates? because 16 GB seems little space to me, the topdon artidiag 800bt and the thinkscan Max have space problems and they also have 16 GB, now they have rectified and they have released the 32 GB versions.
Seems like it’s the same setup as the thinkcar but with an overpriced android tablet included. Thinkcar is the Bluetooth connector where you use your own android phone or tablet and has the exact same priced options ($49/year) for bi directional controls for each manufacturer. I’ve considered the thinkcar option but it seems like I’d be better off buying a Launch x431 Diagun V or Pros Mini for a few hundred more because I look for used cars to flip and so I deal with a wide variety of makes and models.

I am just D.I.Y./back yard mechanic with a smaller budget..Im looking for the best scanner in the $300-$400 or even up to the $500 -$600 or less range
In my opinion this the best bi directional Scan Tool under $400 and even you need $49 per year for the b direction functions to work it much cheaper than paying $500+ per year just to keep update.

When I wanted to use it, he told me that it was already activated and although I have the document that has the serial number and the activation code, I have not been able to use it. ; I have asked thinkcar support for help but they ask me for proof of purchase which I do not have. HI GREAT video I recently purchased the Mucar Vo6 i'm very pleased with this unit. However There are a couple of issues that i don't understand about this device. Number one is, I can't save my friends e-mail addresses on this unit because they are too long. Mucar has a limit on the number of characters it will allow for E-Mail addresses. My second issue is. Can I expand the memory of this unit by connecting a memory stick to the unit. I find the user manual for this unit to share very little information on any of it's features. Have had any of these issues withe your device?
Thanks for the feedback. I've had the same issue with a bunch scan tools like vo6 with character lengths with the email. I don't believe the memory is expandable.
I bought one off amazon and it worked great...for one year. Now it wants $50 for one year for EACH car brand and despite paying for one year for my one car, it will not work Total crap

I mean saying god bless you is basically saying "if you fall into a hole, it must have been god's wishes so I'm not going to help you out of it"...so really in insult and not a blessing from our heart is it? Yes I understand how you feel and I agree. There are some scan tools that come with 3 years of updates and then the unit will still work but you will not get updates. I think these sort of units are by far the best on the market. Let me know if you ever need a recommendation

No directional features are no free they are $50 per year per make. I like this better than both.

You're able to do some coding but you will not be able to do actual recoding from what I remember reading

Yes this is an issue, make sure you are not downloading the some of the brands you will not be using such the Chinese brands.

You only pay per make so Lexus and Toyota would just be one purchase for all of the available features for one year.

How is the battery life?
Most of these units have a 4000 mAh battery, it does the job and in rest mode will last for weeks powered on in the case.

These things are garbage. Used mine once, stored it for a year, and now it's a doorstop. Won't charge, won't power on. Complete waste of money.
