I think Kick is the way to go now a days in terms of streaming, Especially with how twitch changed their sponsored branding with creators on how they can make money on the platform.
Lazy attempt is a good articulation that you used. Kick and Twitch are both pretty weak imo. On top of that, Kick with the gambling backing certainly doesn't make me want to clamour to move over. I noticed that you didn't mention streaming on RUclips in this video. That just seems like the logical choice in 2023. If you are creating associated content, why not have it all in one place?
I actually used to stream on RUclips all the time. It was okay, but Twitch has always been far better in regards to features, community support, etc. I do believe Kick has some big plans, so I'll definitely be keeping an eye on them in the coming months. If anything, there's a good chance I could multi-stream to both RUclips and Kick. Best of both worlds!

Any chance you will consider live streaming to TikTok? I have seen quite a few streamers gain a lot of new twitch followers from streaming on TikTok?
TikTok simply isn't for me. It's just a different... vibe over there. If anything, I might begin to focus on creating RUclips Shorts to drive traffic.
If you're just starting I think Kick or RUclips makes a lot more sense than Twitch
Absolutely! Just be sure to create actual video content as well. It's a proven way to drive traffic to your live streams.

Agreed. Mixer had REALLY nice streaming quality with virtually no delay. It was kind of insane.

I have no interest in TikTok these days. The platform simply does nothing for me. I’m more interested in long form content.
