Really well produced video: thank you! Caterham owner here, but love Westies and am delighted to see their continuation.

Thank you for your good wishes for Westfield. We (at 7Spot) feel exactly the same as you. It is vitally important that we stand behind Westfield to make sure they get off to a great start.

Great video; thanks to you and Simeon (and the team behind the camera!) for taking the time to put it together. Are Project Shop going to be building the Westfields (SEiws and XIs?) in the new workshop, or will there be a new team to put these together? Simeon said that Project Shop would be making the Chesils, but I didn't catch anything about manufacturing the 7-XI cars.

Looked at their prices recently. £33K for a kit and £7.5K if you want it factory built. Caterham 360 starts at £37K and a GBS kit is lower cost. Need Westfield to succeed but pricing seems somewhat off.

I'd buy a Caterham any day if they come out on par to the Westfield price - the video talks about rich men making themselves poor purchasing a British sports car ... well they sound like they have a business plan to do that with these prices; are they nuts !!

I may have missed it but what was the reason for the original company at Kingswinford going into administration.? Really interesting film , thanks.

… not enough funds to satisfy orders for necessary supplies, parts for all models.

@7Spot as I watched the video and imagined the complex job, they have ahead with parts and surply chain and funding then finding customers....my head hurt

Pricing is crazy ... good way to go out of business fast

Beautifull cars, but why do they cost more than a brand new MX5 ND? It does nopt make any sense.

I guess 1 of the partially built car was mine that I’d paid thousands for but never received !!
This is wrong and I hope the business fails 😤

Sorry to hear about your experience.
The new owners can only do their best to make the new Westfield brand a success.

If this bloke bought a business in receivership then he bought the debts ... I'd go after them and ask them outright, where is my car ... make a scene if they do not play ball.

That's really tough , i'd be fuming too , have you tried approaching them with your paperwork /invoices/payments etc?
