@@iworshipgaysandsatan6822 Just cuz someone can reach C6 dosen't mean they are suitable. Ofcourse sohyang is impeccable in upperbelts. But natalie's agility will smash sohyang in that criteria sohyang is nothing in front of natalie when it comes down to agility. Also her astounding low register.
Avantika Roy you guys assume that because she’s more agile she’s a better singer then? Better lows, yeah, I’m saying sohyangs range is more expansive and she is belting B5s with great technique, the past few years the highest note Natalie has hit is a G#5 and I’m not saying “Sohyang has higher notes thus she is better” I’m saying she’s hitting higher notes with great technique consistently over a long period of time. She does a similar thing to Natalie, just higher. Isn’t natelie a Mezzo? Whatever fache she is, it of course means her lows are better and mids are so resonant. Sohyangs high belts are so resonant because her tessitura is so high. Also the quality of natelies clips will alter the amount of resonance natelie is actually outputting, cameras back then have a resonance peak and will cap out and make her voice sound more powerful and more resonant. Agility isn’t everything, by that logic Christina Aguilera is one of the best vocalists ever.
@@iworshipgaysandsatan6822 first of all wtf are you srsly starting? I said "Natalie can beat Sohyang in the AGILITY criteria" this does not mean she is better than her or worse. Sohyang is agile as well but not as Natalie. Just as Sohyang's tessitura allows her to belt stong and supported upperbelts ...Natalie's agile voice allows her to beautify her songs on the basis of that. The person in the original comment said that "Sohyang can belt upto C6#" which clearly had no base in it's meaning and just shows that the person is comparing the on the basis of range. Range is not everything that was what I was implying. Just like Natalie shines in mid and upper too Sohyang's upperbelts are of no match to Natalie cuz they (sohyang's) are that good. And ofcourse as you mentioned, even if natalie is a mezzo props to her belting above F5-F5# with this ease and support and resonance, which brings me to think that she is probably not a mezzo. Natalie's lower register is much prominent and better than Sohyangs who is clearly developing recently, just as sohyang's upper register is greater than natalie. Pls READ the comment properly before answering. I'm a huge Sohyang fan too but I acknowledge her weakness and appreciate her improvement instead of just coming at ppl who appreciate it too. And I think that is sooo stupid of you to compare a remarkable vocalist like Natalie to oversinging strainer like christina. You could do better. Show some respect atleast.
Avantika Roy you’re twisting my argument. I said what I said about you two basing the quality of a singer on agility because the only thing you two mentioned basically was how natelies agility is better than Sohyangs as a response to who is better as a vocalist. Yeah natelie can belt and have her headvoice high because she was trained in opera and broadway which is pure technique and how to make everything powerful etc. I wasn’t saying Christina is comparable to Natelie, you’re twisting what I said I said “by that logic (in reference to agility making a good singer of which you both implied) Christina is one of he best vocalists” which the subtext is “Christina is not one of the best vocalists ever, agility does not make a good singer, that is frail logic “ I was not genuinely comparing the two. Clearly.

Both of their belting techniques are technically flawless and then both have incredible resonance all the way up to Bb5so it's basically a tie. But preference wise I'll give the win to SoHyang just due to the fact that I find her belts to be a lot more intense and more powerful.
+RyderC Daniels True, in this case SoHyang has a more interesting tone, besides that she has more vocal stamina and vocal range. Natalie has a slight piercing tone but she sounds a little "bored"? I mean, she just sounds like a vocal technique teacher who performs covers. SoHyang sounds like a true vocalist, singer and artist on stage. Anyway I think this is a good comparison because both are incredible vocalists with perfect techniques. I agree. And yes, Sohyang has a strongest voice because of her vocal Fach, She is a Full-Lyric Soprano while Natalie is a (pure) Lyric, aka Light-Lyric, that's why her upper register sounds girly/youthful, while SoHyang's sounds more womanly. Love them
Angel Frost its the opposite for me. Sohyang’s tone is very average (plain tone without character) for an asian singer. And sohyang is actually the one more piercing due to her nasal resonance.

That was not even close. Sohyang blew her away. Sohyang is more technically perfect, and has much better pitch control. Natalie's pitch wavered too many times to even be considered in the same league as Sohyang. There are many many singers who can attempt and hit those same notes, but nobody is as perfect as Sohyang. I have watched every one of these battle videos from so many different posters, and I have yet to find one that Sohyang loses.
pickin4you Dude sohyang has pitch correction in all of these clips, if you can't hear that then you can't tell that Natalie is pitch perfect. I lovw sohyang but her pitch is bad and her only real flaw.
Sorry, but I will kindly disagree with you. I have ALMOST perfect pitch myself. Also noticed by music teachers all of my life. If we were playing a tune, and the director stopped, he would ask me who was out of tune, and I could pick them out every single time. There is also a vocal coach in Turkey who has critiqued her singing and has never heard a single note off. His is not one of the new so called Vocal coaches we see so many of now on RUclips. He has been around awhile, and he just does not do a reaction. He will stop the video and EXPLAIN why she does what she does, and what she does that he wished all singers could do.. He calls her MASTER. Go look him up. I am not commenting about you having bad hearing, i am just saying that mine is better than yours. Sohyang's pitch is the most perfect pitch I have ever heard, and I am 57 years old. Think what you wish, and I will KNOW what I KNOW.
Actually, many of Sohyang's performances on TV shows are pitch-corrected. Her intonation issue starts to appear more in live non-broadcasted performances. Your comment make it sounds like Sohyang is pitch perfect when she's entirely not. But that's not a bad thing tho bcuz she's human. She bound to make mistakes. Her pitch flaws is the most obvious when she's sick & when she goes to upperbelts area. & it's not necessarily her flaw since she rarely goes off-pitch for the entire performance, or it's very often showing. Nonetheless, it's still there & she's getting it improved. I'd say Natalie's intonation is less flawed consistently tho.
That wavering is called vibrato and sohyang's vibrato isn't even close to natalie's. Natalie's videos are taken through mobile cam's. Both are great tho but Natalie is an all rounder from lows to mids and then highs also marvelous agility, precision and tone and amazing resonance and support throughout the register. Sohyang is amazing too and her upperbelts are flawless.
Natalie’s Eb5 is the best thing ever omg. This isn’t a battle actually, it was more likely a preference. They are sooooo good.

Natalie's pitch wavered too many times to even be considered in the same league as Sohyang. There are many many singers who can attempt and hit those same notes, but nobody is as perfect as Sohyang. I have watched every one of these battle videos from so many different posters, and I have yet to find one that Sohyang loses.
pickin4you
Dude sohyang has pitch correction in all of these clips, if you can't hear that then you can't tell that Natalie is pitch perfect.
@@avantikaroy5146 i disagree. Natalie's vibrato too slow, it's not a technical flaw, but for me it is an stilistic one.
Neither... I pick Demi at the outro lmao
