Lmaooooo I will have to fight my husband from touching the straws when it comes out the oven because he doesn’t like to wait until anything I bake cools before eating. Thank you for this!! I love cheese straws
@@candythaglamcookYou're welcome my dear.I love to cook but not to bake even though I love most good baked goods but I will definitely try your cheeese straw recipe.I always buy it but homemade is always the best.I will make it next week 1 big tray and enjoy it.Can it be put in a tight lid bottle and keep fresh for about 1 week if I make extra?
Hi candy.. I need a little help.. I did this recipe twice n both times my cheese straws flatten .. at first I thought because I used the wrong cheese as I didn't find the cheddar but I bought the cheddar cheese n try again n same it flatten..should I add more flour? Help anyone any feedback will be helpful
Every comment says cheese straws melt or flatten in oven. I don’t believe I’ll try yours. Something is missing from recipe. Better reviews and I’ll try . Not wasting food? I’ll look up another cheese straw recipe and compare.
@@candythaglamcook always, bored. thats why i like to mess with you and terri-ann. except terri-ann doesn't play back as you do. i don't know maybe she thinks i'm a starker LOL . just like to have fun

Hi. What size of timble did u use?
Hi dear I think it was a medium size
Thank you! I used one of my cake timble
@@suemohan5715 that works just fine.
Should we use room temp cheese or cold cheese?
Room temperature would be easier to work with.
What temperature and
Approx how much lbs of cheese is equivalent?
👍
Yes cheese straws
What butter
Thank You
Where can I get that metal timble to buy.
Most grocery stores should have them or check Amazon
I use these measurements and the thing comes out flat and soft.
How much flour did you use?

I used a non stick pan it doesn't stick

I have seen the procedure but you have not given the ingredients proportion

You are not mention how many pound of cheese how many pound of butter and flour you need to be more specifect
I thought the measurements were in the description box.
I don't know why but I followed this recipe to the last detail and the cheese straws are melting in the oven
I'm sorry to hear that maybe it's the flour you used. flour absorbs different depending on the brand so that's the only thing I can think of. 🤔
Same thing with mine 😢
My cheese strew came out flat 😢 I did everything right
Could be your flour. Some flours absorb differently. You probably needed to add more.
Thank you
