    Lmaooooo I will have to fight my husband from touching the straws when it comes out the oven because he doesn’t like to wait until anything I bake cools before eating. Thank you for this!! I love cheese straws

      @@candythaglamcookYou're welcome my dear.I love to cook but not to bake even though I love most good baked goods but I will definitely try your cheeese straw recipe.I always buy it but homemade is always the best.I will make it next week 1 big tray and enjoy it.Can it be put in a tight lid bottle and keep fresh for about 1 week if I make extra?

    Hi candy.. I need a little help.. I did this recipe twice n both times my cheese straws flatten .. at first I thought because I used the wrong cheese as I didn't find the cheddar but I bought the cheddar cheese n try again n same it flatten..should I add more flour?
    Help anyone any feedback will be helpful

    Are you using a non stick pan or did you use butter or oil so it doesnt stick when cooking??

    Every comment says cheese straws melt or flatten in oven. I don’t believe I’ll try yours. Something is missing from recipe. Better reviews and I’ll try . Not wasting food? I’ll look up another cheese straw recipe and compare.

      I'm sorry to hear that maybe it's the flour you used. flour absorbs different depending on the brand so that's the only thing I can think of. 🤔

      Could be your flour. Some flours absorb differently. You probably needed to add more.
