Minelab X-Terra Pro Beach Target IDs to Help Get You Started!

- In this video, I want to get you ready for beach hunting with the Minelab X-Terra Pro. Like I've done with other metal detectors, I tested some of the most common items you will find at the beach and provided their X-Terra Pro target IDs. Please keep in mind, the ids may and probably will change a bit since I have not taken this machine to the beach but they will get you in the ballpark. Once you get on the beach, mineralization, depth etc., may impact these results. Nothing in this video is absolute and I would dig everything at first until you get a better footing on the numbers. Love mine, I hunt the treasure coast here in Florida, so I dig all targets, with all the 1715 fleet stuff that washes up on our beaches.
Yep when in doubt dig it all.
I like air tests . But I do know that the true reading is in the center of the coil where you will find the target using pinpoint. Thank you for sharing .. I used it on the beach the vdi and all seemed locked on on shallow targets. Not sure about deeper ones. But it seems much better on the beach then on grass.. Happy Hunting.. Peace

my White's MX Sport did well for me for the 4 years I beat it up out on the sand and surf. The shaft is cracked at the control box housing and held together with duct tape and gorilla glue. It still works but it's clumsy now and feels wobbly loose on the swing. I've been undecided on the X Terra Pro or the Vanquish 440. This air test helps. I think it's gonna be the X Terra.... it even kinda just looks badass. Thank for the video.

Thanks, getting used to the numbers on mine as well.
Have you tried the trick on bottle caps where the signal is solid in the middle but if you keep moving the coil back so your centered over the top of the coil the signal will go to a low tone of iron? Keep the vids coming my friend ❤
