This is a good reference video. Coming from a DAW I have a hard time figuring out a good workflow in Premiere Pro. This is a little off topic, but I often wish there was a “solo” choice in the visual tracks so that I can focus quickly on one clip. That’s probably just the inexperience and lack of understanding of a good workflow in Premiere that I bring to it.

I think I avoided most of these headaches by never using drag & drop to create an audio track. But now I see how much trouble it can get me into!

what is there other than drag and drop onto the timelines?

You can choose the insert or overwrite functions in the source monitor. In fact, for the longest time that's the only way NLEs allowed you to build and modify a timeline.@@onyxJS

Colin, I just subscribed to Skillshare. My guess is that your expertise covers some of the questions we have after we view their brief tutorials.

Colin, What's the low down on the Adobe Creative Suite V 24 desktop video apps (Premier Pro, After Effects, Audition, Media Encoder)? It seems that lots of older PCs and workstations won't be able to even upgrade to use version 24+ apps due to new higher CPU and GPU requirement specs on your local processing PC or Mac. It'd be nice if older PC and workstation owners could still use the version 24+ apps and have the apps transfer any new advanced high-stress processing to the cloud for processing for maybe an extra $1-$5/month for PCs and workstations not new and beefy enough to handle the extra intensive processing locally. Maybe you could suggest that alternative to Adobe's development teams for users with old PCs and workstations who want to stay current but who can't afford to buy all new equipment and who don't want to change suites to Cyberlink Director Suite, BlackMagic Design DaVinci Resolve Studio, or another suite?

I recently started using multi cam sequences but the one I'm working on now somehow doesn't include the audio from 1 of the cameras.
I have 3 cameras each with its own audio but when I create the multi cam sequence one of the audio tracks is missing

Could someone assist me in resolving this issue? I'm working within a 1080p sequence, and after adding an image, I applied a drop shadow effect and saved it as a preset. However, when I apply the same drop shadow preset to an image with a different resolution, the output varies. This problem also occurs with border effects - the border size differs when applying the same parameters to images of different resolutions. How can I ensure consistent output regardless of the image resolution?
