Who I am:
Hi! I’m Jeffrey and I run a resale business specializing in vintage and antique finds! Follow my journey as I post haul videos, vlogs, what’s selling videos and more on RUclips. You can also follow me on Instagram to catch more daily happenings!
📢 One last thing -- I used affiliate links above! This means I’ll get a little cut on the back-end for referring you there!
First time I’ve ever yelled at a video...all the Beatles and 60’s music posters, albums, etc. Buy it Jeffrey, I’d buy it all from you...lol 😃. What a great opportunity to be the only one at an estate sale....❤️
I "overheard" her on the phone talking to someone about that stuff and she had a "guy" come give her pricing on it. I heard $20 for a record of... something... and then $10 for another that had a little damage on the cover art. Since I'm not INTO that sort of thing, it didn't make since for me to even consider it.
Wow, having a whole Estate Sale all to yourself! That’s a dream come true!
I thought I was in heaven at 24:55 - I would have bought ALL the art lining the stairs in a heartbeat.
I thought it was pretty cool, but knew nothing about the values.. and since it wasnt priced... idk.. should have asked I supposed?
my first time time watching one of your videos,@@RealNiftyVintage , The music room, you said probably remakes, but you didn't look for dates on the album covers, the posters, wall art, Sweetheart, pleaseeeee.. do your homework. Look this stuff up..even if YOU have no interest in an item, there are others that would die to have some of those pieces and pay GOOD MONEY for them.
I saw a huge Led Zeppelin picture in the basement the 4 band member in front of their airplane. I would so buy that, I'm a big fan. The plastic Jimi Hendrix album cover is probably worth a pretty penny also. So jealous , awesome video.
" I dont even bother myself with the beanie babies " he said 😏🤭
I cannot wait for my state to reopen up...I miss the estate sales, thrift stores, rummage sales. Glad you were able to go to one...I am jealous.
We still have a MONTH until things are "normal".
Ur commentaries are so calming and entertaining. Feels like just train of thought I would have while looking.
How lucky you are to get out and shop! I'm so jealous. Loved the poster art and the old Beatles albums. I grew up on that stuff from the 60's. Longaberger baskets used to be very collectible, but I don't know about now. Wish I had that Woodstock poster that was on the wall in the basement. I lived thru that summer of peace and love in NY.
The "Tommy" print is a pinball machine. Tommy was a 70s Broadway rock opera, which later became a movie. "That deaf, dumb and blind kid, sure plays a mean pin ball"...Pinball Wizard, Elton John. Roger Daughtry played Tommy, and he was very easy on the eyes. It's unique, great music. I think you would dig it Jeffrey. That print was prob worth good money. Still a cult following among my generation.
Tthanks for taking us along !! 😅
OMG awesome Beatle items.
Our first outing together and I loved it 😉
I was just going to comment on the birds. Love listening to them
Thank you for showing us around, sorry there wasn't much to get
Just FYI friends, Jeffery's LIVE SALES Sale moved to Noon on Fridays. Its on the channel ! Just a fan 😂 not sponsored 😂
Fun time!
Seems like you can spot Longaberger from a mile away now! I'm mad they're selling this lady's Hitachi Magic Wand though 🤣🤣🤣
thriftkitten1989 I was seriously wondering if anyone would catch that. I wasn’t sure I saw what I thought I saw. Haha
Hilarious 😆
It's been so long that I'd almost forgotten what an estate sale looked like! How awesome to have the place to yourself!!!
Turns out... it looks like some random persons house got shaken upside down!
Jealous, lots of good stuff! The rock memorabilia and I do well with frogs 🐸
Thanks for the awesome video of your journey through the estate sale. I caught this video for the first time. What an adventure! The rock 'n' roll artwork at 19:00 in was wild! Looked like some original drawings and some Robert Crumb artwork - exceptionally pricey if it's original - extremely so. The "Tommy" framed piece was from the classic UK band, "The Who". All of that framed stuff, on those two walls, seemed to be incredible. I think they were handbills from rock concert venues (1960s/early 70s) and are also rare and could go for a lot of money. The large posters go for thousands apiece, the handbills-probably a few hundred. The owners of the home were definitely "rockers"! Great house and great area all around!
OMG!! I need all that rock n roll memorabilia!! 🤣🎸✌️
i cant believe you passed up all those pieces of music ephemera and albums, thats were the money was. Even if your not into it, i would have still bought it :)
What a fun shop along! Felt like I was in the real world! Nice deal on that Pyrex! Love the sugar shaker!
Great items and seemed like prices were good. I would have had to have gotten all the Beatles things and some of those posters and Disney VHS tapes.
I really appreciated seeing the trees of Illinois again. The bird songs were so calming. Thank you so much 💚
THATS AWESOME, no one running out with what you want..
So glad to see you were able to get out and enjoy like before!!
So fun to see you out and about shopping again, even if the sale was a bit disappointing! I understand passing up some things. I do that, too. There are items I know would probably sell well that I could make a profit on but they just don't speak to me, so I don't often make myself buy them. I leave them for someone else who loves them. BTW, the wooden, folding measuring ruler is called a carpenters rule or a folding rule. It can be used in so many ways other than just as a straight measuring tool. My dad has been a carpenter and builder since he was a teen working with his older brother, and he's in his 80s now still working and still building! Watching him with a carpenters rule figuring a project is truly amazing. One of the things of his I will always cherish is one of his folding rules he gave me. They do still make and sell them but you can usually tell the newer ones from the older ones.
Always enjoyable to watch your videos Jeffrey! Thanks!
My grandmother had gold toned silverware in the 1970s.
How fun for you!! I haven’t been to an estate sale in so long!! I saw so many things that I would have loved to purchase to put in my booth or to sell on line! Our state is opening up some businesses on May 4, but I’m high risk, so it will be a while before I get back out there! So fun to watch you, pick out some really great items!
The Aquarian Exposition Poster at 19:58, if it is an original would have been a great resale. OMG!...to have been at Woodstock...I was only 3. I love watching clips of it. Stay safe and keep looking for vintage finds.
I loved the blue chinese trinket tray and and ashtray underneath it. I thought it was beautiful.
Jeffrey, you really made the best out of a situation where they had so few vintage items, and one expects more at an estate sale..It was fun to see the tour and hope you can enjoy what you bought and make some profit,too..
Yea... little bit of a let down on that front! Still good to see lots of "stuff" lol.
Oh I'm so pleased to see you out.
I was surprised I still new how to drive, lol.
Great prices! Lucky you 😁.
I loved that Jimi Hendrix art piece (at the beginning of the video) & the Cardinal you bought
Don't overlook glasses. Vintage frames do great! Doesn't matter what lens are in them. Can go from 30.00 and up and getting them for a buck would be great profit!!
OMG!! Freaking out for the TOMMY pinball poster! Can you go back and get it? Do not want frame so you can roll and ship in tube. I am dying. Would LOVE to have that! Please go back and get! So jelly you got to an estate sale! Was super fun to watch! Lmk about Tommy poster!
Honestly, I probably wont go back. Sort of a drive...
I would have spent a small fortune at this sale 🤣
So fun to be there alone!!! Great video
So envious here in Canada were no wheres near to opening. A few estate sales do run but too scared to go until our covid numbers are really low. Please stay safe ❤
I love that brass turtle!! Its fun watching i sure miss thrifting!!
I think the poster of the “game board” was a pinball game from the rock opera “Tommy.” Elton John sang “Pinball Wizard.” About the main character, Tommy.
I tried looking up the pinball game while I was there but I couldn't find anything on it :(
@@RealNiftyVintage look up the band "The Who" Tommy was an album of theirs. Later, they did a rock opera movie and then stage musical, based on the music from the album. Tommy was a pinball wizard, he was deaf, mute and blind. Watching the movie is like being on an acid trip. 😆 A real Who fan would have loved that artwork.
The Tommy poster was created before the movie when Tommy was a rock opera on Broadway
Hi Jeffery...thank you so much for the adventure,I haven't been out in so long so it was nice to go along with you fun fun😷❤
Jeffery it’s totally okay you didn’t get the albums. You can’t be expected to research everything. I did enjoy seeing that Tommy poster though I’m guessing it’s from the rock opera.
It took some digging but you still found some gems! The pricing on the Pyrex was fantastic.
Love father and son playing figurine....probably expensive.... that's good gold serving pieces
It's spooky with no one around! ... BOO
You look and acted SO much better so your migraine must be gone. I know you bought some stuff but what a disappointment that sale was. All that stuff, you got to shop alone and you didn't have to fight anyone for anything, you could set your stuff down without anyone taking it and sadly it was almost all new stuff. It is a pain when items aren't marked and she should have stayed with you so you could ask her. You might have bought more if you could have asked her the prices. At least you got good prices on what you bought. If you go to another sale like that I suggest just making a big pile of what you want as they tend to give just a price for the whole pile. thanks for all these videos. : )
the ceramic bowl or planter (plant holder) at 1:13 has nice work, paint job and glaze . If you can get it for a good price buy it.Keep it and then if you want sell it later. At a good price it is a good investment .
You should have gotten the glass frogs, the tea cups and saucers and anything Beatles. Can you see what I collect?
I love the shelve with the cups and saucers. Pretty.
I would delve into those clothes and shoes. Would love those Indian dolls!
Yes to the bop it! Yes to the beanie babys....you never know ..people love that stuff! Fun video! Thanks!
It's great to specialize in vintage and sntiques, but specializing in money making objects like the McKenzie Child s sugar and creamer would help. I am in agony that you passed them by. They serve distinctive and sell well for decent money!
The Tommy item refers to the musical and the song Pinball Wizard, a Who or Elton John fan would love that!😀
Yes, Tommy was the Rock Opera based on the song by Elton John. IT was on Broadway and also made into a movie with Elton John in it. Very trippy!
I can’t believe some of the things you pass up,I would spend every penny I had!
How exciting! I would be over the moon getting to shop that estate sale all by myself!!!
I can’t believe I missed going to this estate sale with you. I agree with your philosophy of buying what interests you. I buy vintage for local reselling and only if I like it personally....as if it doesn’t sell, it goes back in my home.
Good to see you back at thrifting, I missed you!
Truthfully, I would have passed this estate sale up too many of the items are collectibles with very little value. The framed posters from the 60's and 70's would sell to the Millennials. You saw all of them when you went down the stairs to the basement. My favorite was the large Tommy pinball poster. Retail value: $125.00.
Omg, there's a wand vibrator out on the table, lmao
This is what happens to all our stuff! Recycled to new owners.I love the wooden ruler. Very mid century.
Family may have taken vintage/Antique items for keepsakes. Woodstock posters are very valuable !!!! You mist it!!! And The Who pinballwizzard
look how happy you are!
I'm so jealous. I cannot wait to be able to go out and head to estate sales, thrift stores, and garage sales. HOW COOL!!!
I'm so lad you are feeling better!!!
I would have left that place with my van full
Thanks for sharing your lovely video.
Although i love these video's of your'e s please be carefull...this virus is far from gone.stay safe everyone
Love watching, can not wait to see your haul. Be well. Do what you love and love what you do. Have a super groovy day.
I saw the friendship Pyrex, nice.
Not more than 20 mins before watching this video, I saw some preview pics of an upcoming local estate sale for a house that belonged to a former dealer. They featured several adorable pieces with that red sailboat on them and I wanted to look them up and see what they were and if they're worth anything. And then I turn on your video and one of the first things you pick up was that McKee sugar shaker. Now I know what they are! Thank you!
I forgot to tell you that those wind spinners are not from Aldi's and can be very expensive.
I just didn't like the "painted" age on them and the thinner metal. Reminded me of the garden things sold at "big lot" stores for $14.99.
@ Real nifty vintage always but Lily Pulitzer....her stuff is super expensive and resell does well with her stuff
It is sooo refreshing watching you shop again. I wish I could be thrifting again. I've only managed to be able to get some items from a local selling group...good gems for good prices but I miss being out and hunting for them. Withdrawls I tell you! Good news, no death pile. lol
To bad Dorothy had a broken horn! That cow was adorable.
I have never seen you before! You are so adorable! Terra
Well you did good, and bought only what you knew you can sell, plus won't it be fun going through all those BB. That along should be good for a video of two. Glad to see you outside in the nice weather again.
I always stock beanie babies in my booth. I price them $2.99 each and sell a bunch of them every month. I never pay more than .50 ea. and always make sure they have there tags. Another thing you missed out on was I saw lots of albums. I know you probably don’t know anything about them but what I sell for albums in my booth every month pays my $165.00 rent. Albums are very hot right now but they want the rock. Anyway great video Jeffrey. Glad to see you selling on EBay now you already seem to be doing more sales.
Glad you had this opportunity! We can'y do that yet in CT. You should be able to get at least a dollar for any of the non collectible beanie babies. They're so cute!
Yeah you didn't find much but you found some cool things! BTW on ebay got my antique national cash register model 313 for $60 with the shipping & is on my thumbnail pic
you should try to get a hold of the heart shape covers for each of the beanie baby plush so you don't crease the tags
You're at an estate sale!!! I'm so jealous...living in Maryland, so it might be a while, but I'm ok with that 👍& no one is protesting...thank God 😇
I would have looked at the pocket knives, there may have been some valuable ones.
That lady had a shopping addiction! It sure looks like the family kept the “good “ stuff but folks are going to have fun going through this sale when the quarantine is lifted. Thanks for filming and sharing the footage with us.
I have hope that soon we can all get out again and browse. I would have spent most of my time looking at the holiday decorations. Yay for a great video and PS for shame they were rough on the Longaberger.
LOL.. I am not a subscriber yet lol... but I have to tell you, that kitchen is EXACTLY LIKE MINE.. 1970's but is still really functional. Have a great day.
Looks like you did pretty good We shall see I liked the 2 plates next to the apple snack plates One had a leaf design and the other I think was purple flowers
The only things worth buying were the basement posters and the Beatles albums. Missed opportunity.
Nice shopping trip
I have had luck selling the Willowtree Figurines. Love the pea pod dish. Love the violet tea pot. Pigs are hot now too. Lily Pulitzer is a seller. I picked up a tote for 39 cents at GW clearance and sold it for 20$.
Too fast lovey...I love that funky cup. I was like get it get it. So fun to go to estate sales.
I’m not even going to lie, those cows are freaking adorable lol
Safi: what was that Twilight Zone item? That’s what I noticed that didn’t even get a second glance. Even though the Dorothy cow was messed up, perhaps you could have bought it anyway in addition to the shamrock one. You are so lucky!
Even though you didn't buy much that was a fun sale to walk through.
Maybe you don't pick these up, but you missed a sapphire blue and jadite Fireking mugs. They still sell pretty well for me.
the mugs on the kitchen counter weren't fireking, they were ceramic and new.
Glad your bad headache seems to have eased Jeffery. Glenda. Australia 💖
There was sooo much stuff I'd have grabbed as far as art and music stuff as long as the price is right. But everyone looks for different stuff.
Also, I saw a Halloween mask that looked really cool.
I loved what you did find. Wasn’t much there of interest. Maybe family had already had a chance to go through it. Love your videos. Always informative. ❤️
Glad you got the covered dishes
Just wanted to stop by and say hello! 🤚🏼I have that same type of mask. Air blows up from my nose and fogs my glasses!
Wished we have seen more about the shoes
