Rhubarb, ivy & plum are three notes I see popping up in a lot of new men’s fragrance releases. If that book has recipes for those u should make a vid on it 👀
That's such a coincidence, I have just been working on a perfume with a couple of those notes in! Unfortunately I couldn't get it to work so back in the idea box it goes. And no, the book has no formulas in unfortunately.
Hi Sam, great channel with loads of great info. I have been learning a lot from your teachings since I took up perfumery as a hobby little over a year ago. Great appreciation for all the easy to follow knowledge you provide, many thanks 👍
I recently got a new book called Nose Dive A Field Guide to the worlds smells by Harold McGee which I think is really interesting and helpful for accords. It has like what makes up the smells of all different things from nature, food, animals and all sorts of cool stuff. Just about anything you can think of. Really awesome book. I highly recommend to anyone into perfumery. Its pretty cheap for a perfume ish book too, it was like 25 bucks on Amazon for a big over 600 page hard cover. It has all sorts of stuff on strawberries in there.
I like this format Sam. It's like we are trialling the blends with you 👍
Great to hear, thanks!
