Dream theater is the greatest band of all time, no doubt.
@@evrimozen8540 that’s debatable. Eddie van halen was one of the most influential guitarists of all time, but the band itself also put out a lot of less than stellar music.

I think it's the most tasteless and uncreative DT song, they just made a medley of all previous steps. Almost nothing new and original that makes the song be unique. I was extremely disappointed. The first two songs of the 12 step saga are so far the best ones. (Repentance's solo is great though)
actually, the outro of Shattred Fortress loops back to the intro of The Glass Prison. It's like Octavarium, loops back to the beginning
The Dark Eternal Night chorus is fucking sick.

Hi! What strings gauge do you use?
you probably only needed 4 strings to play what you did. Don’t get me wrong, the things you played were well played, but if it was me I would have chosen other extracts of those songs, some that demonstrate what a 7 string really brings in terms of chord voicings and extended range. For instance, for A Change Of Seasons the clean intro is what really blew me away and got me into the whole extended range world. hope you understand the purpose of my comment, I liked your cover of the Dance of Eternity, would you consider doing covers of other songs in this list ? :) maybe I missed some

I was actually about to say the same thing. Yeah those riffs are really powerful but he should've highlighted other parts that displays and gives more emphasis to the 7string axe. Like for instance, he should've completed the part of the dance of eternity up until the ragtime solo. But, anyways this is a fuckin sicked cover! Love it

Very good cover. But you have to listen to the music, you are out of tempo in lot of places. If you playing in the band, and you listen no one but yourself, they will tell to get the fuck out from the group.
