Saying that can come across as prejudice too. It’s no better then me saying white is beautiful. It’s still separating us. It’s still prejudice. There is no “right” way to say much. All BLM supporters are separating us. Can’t we just say we are all beautiful and unique. That’s what makes us the United States. We are all different. We accept diversity. We encourage diversity. We are color blind. Lady Justice is blind.
Let this be a lesson to other Mirandas out there. Never judge a book by the cover. Just because of the COLOUR of Ava's skin, she was judged as not being suitable to have a seat in first class. Miranda's actions should be an example to all who deals people in every capacity. Treat all in the way YOU want to be treated. This story is a very interesting, and thought provoking. I enjoyed listening.
I am a white woman who lives in Tucson, Arizona, USA, and it brought to mind the instances I have seen on police videos where a non-white driver of a fancy car was pulled over. I was sure if they had been white, they would not be treated that way unless a traffic law had been violated. To be pulled over based on one's skin color should have ended centuries ago, but sadly, stil exists. I am glad Eva's actions produced a noticeable change in how all passengers are now treated with respect, and the airline involved is held accountable.
I appreciate this comment I have never n my years heard this put so intelligently n with such awareness of Gods purpose for the race of humanity..thank u for that knowledge 🙏🙏🙏

An amazing tale. I’ve had a sense of Air NZ staff being far more personable in a flight situation days ago. There is always room for improvement, and self improvement before judgement of others and their biases. We must look to our own to be the change we want to see. Then we, as Eva, can have real hope of change for the better. Thanks for this great message within the story, it’s so empowering.
*We all know what it feels like to be judged based on our appearance-it’s a silent, profound humiliation, a reminder that no matter how far we’ve come, there’s still so much prejudice in our society. Have you ever been judged? I have, and it’s hard to bear. I think of all the years I’ve lived, all the times I’ve been treated unfairly just because I didn’t “fit in” to other people’s expectations. How many times have I kept quiet, suffered, and accepted that “that’s the way things are”? But through this, I’ve learned that silence doesn’t change anything. We need to stand up not only when we’re hurt, but also when we see someone else suffer. Thank you for sharing your story.*

Wow, this story is incredibly powerful! Ava's composure and strength in the face of such injustice are truly inspiring. The way the situation turned around was both satisfying and impactful. Great storytelling!
What an inspiring and thought-provoking story! Thank you so much for shedding light on such an important issue and demonstrating the power of standing up for justice with dignity and composure. Ava Carter's journey is a testament to resilience and the impact one person can have in fostering accountability and change. To everyone watching, let’s take this as a reminder to treat one another with respect, no matter the situation. Wishing all viewers the courage to face challenges with grace and the wisdom to learn from mistakes. Looking forward to more meaningful stories like this!
It's a beautiful story, which is very important for those who always think of being racist - especially to us, the Black people. I hope the racists will learn from it.
I have read so many stories of black people being harassed, belittled and mal treated including slapping them , pouring coffee on them and tearing their clothes while flying first class on airplanes. In 2003 I took a transatlantic flight and because I am tall, I asked for another seat with more leg room if possible. I was bumped to first class and NO ONE bothered me. Ironically, in 2024, when things should be better, black people are still discriminated upon while sitting in First class.
I experienced firsthand discrimination as an Asian woman in a dental class of 96 students, where only three were people of color. Coming from a foreign country and speaking with a strong accent made it even harder. Despite these challenges, I consistently ranked in the top ten students every year and was ranked 2nd in my class in the year when I applied for orthodontic residency. Still, the dean asked me to go to his office and told me I wasn’t ‘perfect enough’ to apply for an orthodontic residency. Knowing he could crush my aspirations. I stayed quiet. Then, a miracle happened-the dean stepped down the year I applied. A professor who taught us stepped up as the interim dean who recognized my potential and wrote me a strong recommendation letter. That turning point made all the difference, and today, I’m a successful orthodontist. I often wonder how different things might have been if that dean hadn’t stepped down. I had no high up connections, but I feel the power comes from the above.
Teach the children what black people had to go through in the early years of United States culture.. Jim Crow and segregation and all the brutal atrocities against women, men and children of color… this is the reason for the constant racism behaviors and why it’s so difficult for humanity to co-exist in peace love and respect! ✊🏾
Thank you for your kind words! You're absolutely right-stories like this can teach valuable lessons about empathy, respect, and standing up for what's right. Teaching our children these values early on can shape a more inclusive and compassionate future.
Too bad prejudice is still everywhere!! Im from the Navajo Nation but live in one of the nearby cities off the reservation in New Mexico. The counties these cities are in are some of the biggest oil producers in the state. But, because there's Native Americans that live and visit these places daily, gas is purposefully kept at a higher price. Its already been studied and been in the newspapers and media but nothing has ever been done about it. It can range anywhere from forty cents($ .40) to seventy-five cents($ .75) higher than surrounding areas... sometimes more... its actually very Embarrassing!!! 🙄🙄😠😤
From London England, This story held me spellbound with the honesty and clarity it contained, not to mention the clear message that was conveyed throughout, It has been a powerful learning curve, In short, It is a “Smasher “ from start to finish. Thank you.

I was recently spoken to like a piece of dirt by a British Airways flight attendant. I've made a complaint and still heard nothing. They offered me £50 voucher, and I turned it down because change needs to come from the top. THIS IS ABOUT THE SYSTEM THAT ALLOW SOMEONE LIKE HER TO PREJUDICE AGAINST PEOPLE FROM DIFFERENT BACKGROUND😢
If ever you are treated badly by a company, especially British Airways, don't complain to customer services, send a full complaint with as much evidence as possible to their head office. You are far more likely to get it dealt with properly.
Flew once with BA the experience wasn't good cause we are coloured people. Got only 3 drinks throughout 12 hours flight. Twice with meals and once a small bottle of water
Wow. In this day and age people are still arrogant , prejudice, hateful and heartless. If you were an executive or stockholder; you would have gotten much more than a offer of £50 of which is an insult. Time people and things function differently. Hope you can have some resolution soon

I would have personally dealt with that case until Miranda was terminated and the airline is sued! There will be no way, that any of us should ever allow this behavior. Great Story reading from the United States. I and my children have been once a victim several times. Not a fight situation. There are many people who is like Miranda should know that every one is Grace differently. God EL-ROI who sees us the way and loves us all. Thank you for the story. There are people who have no physical political connections, affiliation, power. What will these people do?
It happens All the time I was harrassed mercilessely by an airline staff in New Mexico in front of dozens of people who offered ZERO defense. Its called homegrown racism.
This story well demonstrates that sadly still in 2024, lessons about how to recognize and respect diversity, are important and still necessary in America. The narrator did an excellent job describing the mature, skilled behavior, from beginning to end, of a classy person negotiating change.
This was a great story! It’s so sad people think they are entitled to disrespect others because of skin colour or personal biases! I’m glad great change was put in place for improvement!! ❤
True power my butt. Grace and purpose don't make a difference. Any response at all is viewed as too aggressive in situations like this. The only power was the actual ownership status. Nice fantasy though.
I'm glad the biased flight attends recognised and acknowledged her untrained biased behaviour to others of dark skintones.Hope she's genuine about her changing behaviours. What if Ava was not a high-profile executive, I wonder what the outcome would have been. I'm watching from Trinidad and Tobago. Inspiring story
I'm watching from Calgary, Alberta, Canada! 🇨🇦 It's amazing how stories can connect us no matter where we are. So glad to be part of this experience from here! 🌟😊

Watching from Port Moresby , Papua New Guinea . I admire Eva's patience in the whole flight . She handled the situation humbly and professionally. And in the end everything paid off.
From SA. Twas an interesting story of prejudice, racism n discrimination . Judging a book by its cover not on . Dynamites come in small packages. Never choose revenge over change. Many lessons in this story. Ty.
I, from Tucson, AZ, thank the clarity and pace of the narration. It made listening to a rather long video enjoyable, entertaining, and informative. It leaves the viewer with a sense of hope for more meaningful changes in the airline industry.
Nelson, New Zealand 🇳🇿. What an amazing story, enjoyed it from beginning to end. It’s so sad that people can be so judgmental about things like the colour of your skin, we are all the same on the inside.
Miranda , you make a bed ,you lie in it . Miranda you enjoyed every minute of mistreating Eva just because of her colour. You thought she didn't belong to first class.
As a former travel consultant for United Airlines, we have to swallow every cursed words from our passengers be it an experience they have with us in the past and what's not. We cannot disrespect anybody specially if they paid for the service they ought to get. There are just times that It is too much of a pressure and testing that it affects my mental health. So I still commend the account but have to sacrifice myself and admit I am not into it.🎉❤🎉
Why, why did this steward not return this lady to her rightful seat after she was first told who the lady was???l am sure that action would have gone a long way in reducing the error of her action? And it’s sad to know stewards have the power to make such judgements when you have a ticket clearly paid for ???
I love this story! 😊 I hardly travel abroad because I don't have that much finances to travel first class but minor incidences point in that direction of 'feeling like Eva' in my daily life.
Thank you for watching from Garland, TX! 🌟 I'm so glad you enjoyed the story-it’s a timeless reminder to look beyond appearances and value people for who they truly are. "Never judge a book by its cover" is such a powerful lesson that resonates every time. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and being part of this journey!
This story is a thought-provoking one. It makes you look at yourself and think if you are in any way like Miranda. Thanks for sharing this story with us. Watching from Manvel, TX.

What got her was the skin color.
The characters name in alot of these stories is Ava, why?
@@karenabergey-hinton1077Clara & Ava is normal for stories
Ava’s calmness and determination show the true power of standing up for yourself with grace and purpose.

Rahul from Pune, India a lovely story, each and every individual should be respected. ❤❤❤
This is most excellent. Should be shared with all businesses
I'm watching from Calgary, Alberta, Canada! 🇨🇦 It's amazing how stories can connect us no matter where we are. So glad to be part of this experience from here! 🌟😊
I watched this in Rio de Janeiro Brazil. Many changes have been implemented here in the last 60 years since I lived here. More are needed - but I'm happy to see the progress. Let's keep it going!
Watching from Port Moresby , Papua New Guinea . I admire Eva's patience in the whole flight . She handled the situation humbly and professionally. And in the end everything paid off.
A great lesson on prejudice.
Watching from Canada. Great story!
Thank you so much for this calculated steps, Ava. We should never judge a book by the cover before reading it. Well done.
This is a wonderful story.
Enjoyed listening to the story
Nelson, New Zealand 🇳🇿. What an amazing story, enjoyed it from beginning to end. It’s so sad that people can be so judgmental about things like the colour of your skin, we are all the same on the inside.
Australia nsw Sydney xx
Miranda , you make a bed ,you lie in it . Miranda you enjoyed every minute of mistreating Eva just because of her colour. You thought she didn't belong to first class.
😊😊😊
Love the story.

Fantabulous!🙌 🥰🕊
Interesting story I enjoyed listening ❤ it thanks.
All human beings are equal .
Great message for everyone.
I love this story! 😊
I hardly travel abroad because I don't have that much finances to travel first class but minor incidences point in that direction of 'feeling like Eva' in my daily life.
Watching from Garland,Tx....another great story that reminds us about "never judge a book by its cover "
Many incidents like this happen on daily basis without being followed and punished
I'm watching from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦
Canada here. A completely racist attendant should not be allowed to work in any industry that serves the public.
This story is a thought-provoking one. It makes you look at yourself and think if you are in any way like Miranda. Thanks for sharing this story with us. Watching from Manvel, TX.
Ava is not a “girl”. She is a proud WOMAN
Im watching from Lindsay Ontario Canada
Thanks a lot, a very good and lessons learned.. from philippines
Fresno, CA - great story. Judgmental people need to be put back in place. ❤ Great from start to finish!
Ed Trevors needs to stop judging Trump and Christians who embrace his policies in support saving free speech and Christianity
I love and admire every word you said while narrating the story. I hope more relevant and educational stories like this will be featured on You Tube.
Miranda was ignorant to this women who payed extra for business class seat shame on her she should be fired this behaviour is appalling
Her behavior is unacceptable
She paid for First Class which is even more expensive than Business Class. She was even more "guilty" than what you notice.
I believe this is first class.
She is fired indeed and paid for what she have done.
They mentioned it was a FIRST CLASS Ticket (This is Even Double the price than Business Class)
FIRST CLASS Ticket costs multiplied 4 to 5 times more than Economy Class Ticket..
This is truly a disgrace situation that happened.🥹
In Aviation Industry KINDNESS, TO SERVE to go beyond oneself...ONLY MATTERS..
I was Airline Sales Executive....
