    I like love the Gassan blades. Sadatoshi has made some of the most beautiful nihonto! Not all swords suit Horimono, but Gassan swords wear horimono the best in my opinion 👍!

    Glad to see they were able to save a lot of swords after WWll. Thousand of swords are in the bottom of the bay.

    They are considered art pieces! NBTHK, The governing body for nihonto in Japan is more of a treasure/art institution and are categorized and awarded just as art is.

    Umetada Myoju is considered the father of shinto swords not Kunihiro.

    These should now be considered strictly art pieces. Modern blades and steel far outclass the strength and durability of these artefacts.
