  • Hi!
No music. No talking. Just work.
If you are taking your HP 14-C 14-CF laptop apart be careful and wear an anti-static wrist band or use other anti-static device. If you need to change a LCD usually you don't have to take screen out of a laptop. You can leave it on a laptop and watch the last part of the video where I am taking LCD apart. If you need to change a keyboard, you don't have to take all bottom screws out. There are usually some marks, like a keyboard picture, on a case bottom. If you need to put a laptop back to work be aware of screws. They are different and you better remember or mark them somehow to insure that you will put them back in to a right place.
Some laptops I take apart first time, so don't be serious on my time and performance.
If something got broken - ooops, it's your fault.
Believe me, some parts in your laptop are already broken, you just don't see that.
    Have fun and good luck!!
    regazzz

The interesting part of this is that its a good Video to show procedures but if the screen is not cracked and fails to show its not easy to determine if its the cable or screen. The break down however is rather easy and good example to demonstrate how items are shown and taken apart.

Thanks for making this video, I’ve been looking at this laptop for some light schoolwork but 4gb of ram is just not enough for me and I couldn’t find any diagrams showing if it was soldered or not

Hey thank you for watching! I would first check the specs of this laptop if it supports m.2. After that try it install and check if it is in visible BIOS...

I've opened my laptop up and there is an M.2 drive with a breakout board to the left of where this video shows the battery. They appear to be after-market parts and the space looks like a perfect fit for a standard 2.5 inch drive. I can only see one point for the drive to connect to so I have a feeling that although you could physically fit in a second you wouldn't have anywhere else to connect it. I don't know if you can get breakout boards that allow two M.2s attached via one cable.

@@seancortez7044 Mine has an M.2 SATA with a breakout board but this was second hand and I suspect it was an after-market modification. My 2.5" looks like it would fit almost perfectly, not sure about the thickness of it though.

Well, I might had a used laptop that was opened before and this bottom cover could be used... this way or another way, it could be harder to open laptop that was never opened before. A few plastic pieces might come off, but screws should hold, when put back...
