No discharge or anything but currently my issue is in my "fold" or "hidden" areas and because I'm a "plush pal" my areas are warm and tend to hold moisture which ultimately resulted in my going to the hospital because I was super uncomfortable and couldn't function. Needless say the doctor prescribed a powder and antibiotic by mouth. These videos help!!💜💜💜
I disagree very much with the video about using vinegar. I don't know know about white vinegar, but apple cider vinegar is literally your best friend with vaginal yeast infections. I had a miserable yeast infection and applied apple cider vinegar to the infected area with a cotton ball. It not only gave me immense relief from the itching but got rid of my infection! It WILL burn, but that means its working against the infection, and the burning and itching will subside after 5-10 min. Saved me money and time going to a doctor's office

I suffered this 5 yrs. My mistakes is that i never go and check to the doctor because I'm shy... it became worse and i really cannot bear that i have this the itchy. But now I'm thankful i'm healed. THE doctor gave me medicine to put inside the vagina on that night and until now the itchy gone. Sana noon kopa to na patingin sa doctor at hindi ako nag suffered nang 5yrs na ganoon katagal..

But the itchiness is still there..
I ask the doctor other medicine he gave me the (Zalain Ovule) to put inside vagina. That night until now the itchiness gone.
I have had issues for years and I get them after my tri-monthly - mine are irregular; Because I had a depo provera shot in my late teens and early 20's - So taking that took my monthly away for a year. Now as I'm in my 40's it comes tri monthly, or I don't see it for a bit. It's a pain. I'm glad I ran across this video, however a friend of mine said try pure greek yogurt and I'm always hesitant to do so. Now I know why old wives tails work on some things, not all things. As a teenager I suffered with yeast infections....it was very depressing at the time....that experience seemed endless and very tramatic because it was such a sensitive age....the discharge was off white...thickish...cottage cheese like...and the scent was like the smell of baking bread the text books described it back then).....The GYN said it was caused by wearing tight jeans and nylon underware...both of which hold in moisture...in a area tha is already naturally moist....so bacteria thrives in that enviornment.....back then monistat cream was prescribed as well as the advice to stop wearing tight fighting pants...and to buy cotton underware....or underware that have a cotton croch to help keep that area dry

Coconut oil works for yeast infections I had my first yeast infection and coconut oil and feminine wipes help with the itch and redness now I don't have an infections anymore

I take hormonal contraceptive pill that causes dryness down there which leads to yeast infection (or could also be because of the changes in my hormones) I used to see a doctor for this and it’s extremely uncomfortable and stressful. I also had a copper IUD that became a source of a really bad infection that’s been treated with antibiotics. I’ll see if I can get an over the counter cream. Thanks for the info. ❤

Poor babies, yeast infections can happen from being sexually active BUT you can also get it from too tight of clothing and poor diet. Please please please don’t be afraid to tell your mother or father (if mom isn’t around) that you have one. Yeast infections are itchy, there will be a white discharge (milky, creamy and or cottage cheese looking). There could also (usually) be a bread smell with these other symptoms. Stay well ladies and get some relief and comfort 💕
Salt baths have been my best friend tho . I get thrush once or twice a month and it goes much quicker with salt .

I am currently on day 2 of fluconazole, I've had yeast infection once in awhile but never this bad it started after I was given steroids for symptoms. I never knew that steroids can give you yeast infection... I'm waiting for tomorrow to be day 3 so I can take the second dose because it's so severe one dose is not going to be the worst yeast infection I've ever had it has stressed me out causing me to cry affecting my sleep and even my daily activities this is just so depressing.... Hope with the Lord's hope that this.

You're not alone girl. I had mine for a couple of years and I treated as if it was a normal infection. And I we back to my unhealthy lifestyle which is eating outside in fast food chain, eating sugars and did not do any consultation with my OB because I thought it was nothing serious but 2 yrs ago it became really hassle and frustrating that is why I went to see my OB though I was given medicine and vaginal wash I was okay for a couple of months but it came back it was because of my unhealthy lifestyle. I just started cleansing and diet and now I am on my 2 week of cleansing with 3 days bone broth and water therapy. NO juices and sugars. I feel a little better but mind you I still have vaginal thrush which is uncomfortable and severe fungal infection in the skin around my vagina and anus. They said that it will take time to get rid of Y.I. so just be patient and stay positive in curing it because stress can also trigger Y.I. Also, taking antibiotics can also trigger yeast infection.

Hello I’m dealing with the same thing right now on the same medicine and I noticed after just taking it for 3 days that the discharge is gone but it still burns , did that ever go away for you , do you feel any better now? I’m just really scared I think it’s starting to feel better and then I’ll wash and it will burn all over again
An OBGYN told me to use vinegar and water and spray it in there 2 x per month to keep it too acidic for preventing chronic recurrent yeast. Anyone else ???? 😮

You can try a warm salt water solution, you can wash the area with it. It will burn a little but dont panick, just rinse it off with normal water. My mom taught me this solution whenever i cant get meds. It won't leave immediately but you will feel relief from the itching. Keep doing this until ur 100% sure the infection is gone :)
Also, just do this until you can get meds. Medication is the best solution

The time I try home remedies, I get the infection n if I delay to go to hospital, it worsens ... so I hate them. I prefer antibiotics to treat infections

I have noticed about a month ago that there is an unusual clumpy discharge and an intense drive to itch in my vaginal area, even though I do not feel any kind of burning when urinating. I am not sexually active, never had an intercourse before and I also do not have a lot of knowledge regarding this area but after a bit of research I found out that I could be having a yeast infection. I would like to know what the next best course of action is. Being that I currently live with my family, and they're the type to shame ppl who have these kinds of infection, it's hard for me to open up and ask them for help.

I’m no doctor but one time I tried using scented panty liners and dear god, what a BAD idea. I started feeling very uncomfortable FAST. It itched and burn and I told myself “never again.” I still get yeast infections cuz I’m diabetic but it’s not because of those panty liners anymore for sure.

I found so many young girl who is uncomfortable to tell their mum. Well, try taking natural Greek yogurt and apple cider vinegar(diluted) first. If your parents question you, just tell them for it's for healthy reason. Give it a few month trial and if that doesn't work then consider telling your mum. I am a mum myself, but do respect my daughter's privacy. So, if you trust your mum, ask your mum not to tell your dad. Hope you find a solution

Yes tell her before you make the symptoms worse especially if you scratch. Take 2 warm baths a day, avoid scented soaps/body wash, purchase Monistat 3 or 7 day treatment and have your doctor prescribe a diflucan pill . Whatever you do, don’t scratch if necessary just rub.
You should definitely tell her! Don't want you to end up like me lol! At first I didn't think much about it and it got worse to the point that it's so itchy and turns red around the part of my (yaknow) and yeah 💃💃 (I got scolded though cuz I didn't tell her sooner HAHAHAH)

i would definitely go to the doctor! you always should for any type of infection down there just to rule out if it is a yeast infection or not, because if it’s not then the over the counter yeast infection medication might slow down symptoms but cause the actual infection to worsen. i do know that green discharge isn’t a usual symptom of a yeast infection but it sometimes can be, so i would go to the doctor, also i’m not trying to diagnose you or worry you!! hope all goes well:)

That didn't happen to me in menopause! But yeast infections- skin- toungue- ears- itchy eyes- burning vaJj- and anal infections won't go away.

I don’t know if soap causes it. I do now that soap irritates the sensitive skin so that would make sense. But to answer your first question, yes I believe so. I used to get them a lot when I was younger.
If u wash down there with soap it will give u a yeast infection, that’s how I made mine worse without knowing 🥲

Having a healthy lifestyle not consuming sugar, any food that are rich in starch because yeast feed on them. I am on my 2nd week of cleansing, so far it is good but since my case is severe it may take a long time to totally heal but I am still positive about it.
Mine went away It might have not been an infection or might have been a mild one bc it went away after washing with unscented soap and applying Vaseline on the outer part

Talk to a trusted adult figure. Do not put anything near or in your vagina no matter what that 5 sec Google search says(coconut oil might help a bit with friction, but it won't cure it). Wear lose fitting underwear and change it often. When showering only use water to wash in or near your vagina. Try your best not to scratch, it makes it worse.
There is no information that yogurt doesn't have the probiotic benefits it has claimed to be and it's on the actual containers now. Just to put it out there.

@@cookiebookielookie4099 very, i used to have chronic itchiness, got strong pills but it never seemed to go away. Until my provider suggested I stop using fragrance bathing soap. And that was the cure for my vaginal itchiness. I've never experienced it again since 2010
