- Of all the places in the world to have your first kayaking experience, I can’t think of a better place than Sand Harbor in Lake Tahoe under perfect conditions. And that is exactly what I was fortunate enough to experience. Join me and my nifty inflatable kayak for this gorgeous and blissful adventure!
Superb video! I really enjoyed the relaxed flow of your trip, the little waterfall was cool. Also taking the time to visit the snack bar and the Shakespeare booth. Lots of terrific pointers. Thanks!
What an incredible place to paddle! All the blue!
Yes! The amount of blue! So vibrant and serene.
Love hearing the natural 'water' 🎵. Another great video Nix 👍
Thank you! Yes I love the water sounds as well. Maybe I need to do a whole ASMR video of kayaking water sounds. I’m not sure a lot people would like but I would.
@@NixAdventrex i would love it. I think - give it a try
That emerald green water is so stunning. You’re one brave woman, kayaking alone! Love the Shakespeare fest up there. Good to know about the NV state park pass, too.
Well I chose Sand Harbor to try kayaking in for the first time because I knew the water would be calm and no motor boat traffic. I’m a pretty skilled swimmer - I grew up being the water a lot - pools and the Pacific Ocean. I felt pretty safe and secure, plus I had a life vest on which is actually the law.
Great job. You are having a long stay in the Tahoe area. Stay safe.
It seems like I'm having a long stay, but I actually travel back and forth to there a lot, so it just seems that I'm still up there. I have a few more Tahoe video coming out.
America has such amazing landscapes, flora and fauna. I was seriously considering buying a kayak, for exploring the Islands on Loch Lomond. Whatever the price its always worth it in the end.
I am SO happy I got this kayak. The beauty, the serenity, the blissfulness of floating on a calm lake is magical! Definitely there will be more kayaking videos in the future!
We don't have state park entry fees here in Arkansas.
That's wonderful. Wish it was like that here!
@@NixAdventrex We have a 1/8 cents tax that supports SP and other outdoor activities. Us senior citizens get 1/2 off on camping Sunday night through Thursday night.
