Thank you for the video on this subject. I always learn so much from your videos. I'm one of those people who always uses cerium over tin. One thing I see online is that most Tin Oxide is around the size of .7 - .8 microns and the white optical grade Cerium Oxide seems to be int he ranges of .8 - 1.5 microns. In theory, the tin should be better then?
Awesome, could I get a copy of chart for polishes and pads for different stones? Great help right now, thank you. Kind of backing down from faceting, doing more cab work right now. Love your videos Dave
Hey Dave, also switching back to wheels for grinding from flat laps for faceting, I'm not familiar with you splash up blocks for water lubrication, what are they? Thanks loads, Dave
No not by another name but you can just give them a phone call and they’ll sell it to you that way somebody I know recently bought some from them. I think they made a phone call.
Thanks for the reminder to dig out the old tin oxide! Thanks to you, I am finally getting a fantastic liquid shine on my labradorite cabs! Yahoo! ❤

Depends on the gem that you are polishing.

I took the jump Dave made one long video but it’s complete crap. I have the shakes today and didn’t hold the specimens up for long enough.
