@deeznoots6241 I've seen people say this and I find it confusing. Are they being sarcastic? I think what they really mean is "nothing ever happens TO THEM"
The act of violence that sticks with me, from the riots, is the mob in Leeds who attacked a mosque, and then attacked the homelessness resource centre just down the road Their stated outrage is all a cover for the things they already wanted to do
Critical hits in real life folks. For real I do want an Actual Professional Boxer (or really just someone who knows the sport really well) to break down the match. For all I know this is a yugioh situation where high level play is often resolved extremely quickly. Or perhaps Carini competiting after her previous injury that kept her out of the Tokyo olympics is the kind of thing different coaches would disagree about if its a good idea, since some sources I've seen said that she forfieted because the legal strike reopened the injury. Is there a culture debate in the boxing community about atheletes forfietting when legal hits cause injury worse than the standard boxing fare? If you're seeing this comment months or years later, because the article or video essay I want does take a while, please comment a link.
"Well There's Your Problem" and their Olympics series will be three, maybe four, episodes long (Roczniak said they taped nine hours, which might be eight hours and change after Devon edits it). We are on Episode Two right now.
Idk if this is the fight they’re talking about- but there are two biologically male boxers who are in the women’s competition, one from Taiwan and one from Morocco. The danger in letting them compete against biologically female boxers is that these two have had a lifelong testosterone advantage that gives them not only an unfair advantage, but makes them a danger to their opponents. I wish they could compete how they identify; probably best to get rid of the Olympics altogether
@@darwinism8181people are using it for transphobic arguments, but the concerns at the heart of the matter are real. Biological males have a pound for pound advantage in strength coded into their dna, no matter how they identify. I wish it were different, but it’s not. Just get rid of the Olympics altogether
Looks like we'll have to wait a few days for the 'UK pogrom/Middle East war/global economy meltdown' episode
We need to find a better name for the war...
'All this reaping shit fucking sucks. Can we go back to all that cool sowing we had going ten years ago?'- Forever politics for some reason.
Nothing ever happens

@@NosyFella I envy them their ignorance... There are far to many Tom Clancy novels happening at the moment.

i love how the bit about deploying gundams against just stop oil is literally the plot of umurangi generation
now hold on there.
They deploy Eva's. That's super robots, totally different scale of escalation here.
This ia going to be a great episode, I can already tell. Could be interesting to have an Ainsley Harriot focused episode one day though.
For more avout how crappy Olympics can be check out recent episodes of "So there's your problem" ...as if we all did't just come from there.

Nobody in Europe has been into stopping boats so much since the battle of the atlantic
NB “dengue” is two syllables.

Brain-dead comment
@@theryanbarddamn, sorry to hear that dude. Hope you get better soon
The IBA is an incredibly corrupt, inept organization and using its bad tests to justify transphobia is not really cool.
Not how any of that works but okay bud lmao
