New sub from Idaho. Sorry you had a man go down. Hope he gets back in the saddle soon. Your camera work was great. Your sarcasm, laughter, razzin each other, survival tips, grizzly cub commentary, ramen recipe and sharing your adventures with us...thank you.
Awesome trip guys , ya don't get the big ones along side the road you're in the right area. sucks loosing a man but ya got to keep on keeping on. take care.
@@stevewebb6021 you were one of the volunteers! Thank you for your service my friend. You guys really kicked but out there was neat to watch you guys work from above. Hopefully we can meet under different circumstances than you met cheez lol
First of all I hope cheese recovery is going well. Second of all I am a Canadian and also have a Satellite communicator my question is when the sos was pressed, and all the dust settled who paid for the helicopter extraction?
That is a good question. Looking forward to hearing the response. I too carry a InReach, have not had to hit the SOS button yet and hope it stays that way. I spend a lot of time in the back country, sometimes solo and you just never know. I have purchased the flight insurance but don't know how that would really work.
Hey Ben, British Columbia has a program that makes evacuations free. There is no cost to hitting the button as long as you are actually in trouble and need an extraction! Now I’m not sure about how other provinces, territories and states work. I also have the insurance just in case…
