    I got some cheap laundry baskets to try out. Figured it couldnt hurt to try. Now i have a small container garden!! And in a week or so i will have to start training my melons to grown on the trellis. Great tips, New subscriber!!

    Im using burlap bags full of my soil mixture and its been very effective with my melons. I lay it down the same way.

      DJC, thanks. I just released part 2 of this video this past Wednesday to show what the plant looks like. It's working well, so far.

    Just a suggestion. Cut an ex instead of that large circle just big enough to get your plant in there. It will help in pest and weed control.

    You should start making your own worm castings it's easy

    • @GrowSomethingTasty
      @GrowSomethingTasty  Год назад +1

      Hey Roy, I was thinking about doing that again. I had a worm bin before.

    • @roygreene2921
      @roygreene2921 Год назад

      I just added worms I bought at Walmart to my raised beds and to my indoor grow bed and it's amazing how much they've helped me out I have one raised bed that's nothing but worm castings after two years so this fall I'm going to empty it and mix new soil for that bed and spread the casting around the garden

    New Subbie...I use the Mykos for the past year now off and on. Keep us updated on how this works. I've seen this before but not with the fermented food just vegetables planted in the bag. Thanks for sharing.

    I’m doing this right now. Should I poke a hole in the bottom of the bag so there is drainage?

    • @GrowSomethingTasty
      @GrowSomethingTasty  3 месяца назад

      HEY, Cari!!! Cool. Yes, you have to make drainage holes at the bottom of the bag.

    Nice, I wish I could afford 500 bags of compost as even with the grafted plants the Fusarium Wilt is hitting my watermelon field hard.😢

      Thanks, Mr. Daniel, this is my first time trying it, so I'll see if I can keep it growing. I'm sorry to hear about your plants. I'm dealing with blight in my pear trees, I have done so much pruning my trees are about gone

    You can plant anything like that. You basicly replaced the pot with an inferior replacement

      HELLO PrettyWitty, I never really thought about doing this. I want to see if I can get a melon using this method.
