Thank you Elle and Lia. I came from Hong Kong and straight into UEA 43 years ago. I took my family of 3 daughters and their partners and one year old grand daughter back to Norwich and UEA. I watched your videos for tips and took them to Eaton Park and boating at Wroxham. They have also fallen in love with Norwich and our UEA 🥰🥰👍👍
Great video it's give me a few good ideas where to go in October When we when we visit for a week We've Booked a table at Bonds 28 heard its ment to be good there.
Hi, I am going to study at UEA in coming semester, I quite concern about traveling. Do students normally take the bus or ride a bike to the city center and how long does it typically take ? Thank you.
Hi, that’s so exciting! Students tend to get the bus into the city centre. There is a bus directly from campus (number 25 and 26) that both go into the city centre and it takes around 20-30 minutes
There are lots of things to do at UEA and around the area, I mention a lot of them in this video! There are so many clubs and societies there is something for everyone
Hi Lia.. great video.. will be doing language meetups soon(groups).. if your interested let me know.. Have you also visited Suffolk? lots of wonderful countryside. Bluebell Road..the amount of times I've driven this road !!
Thanks for sharing video. I have a few questions: Q1) In current situation, Can a student easily get a part time job here @ Norwich city ? Q2) What are the affordable options for accommodation near UEA. ?
Yes it's very easy to find part time work in Norwich and near the university! There are jobs on campus such as in the bar or shop or as a student worker giving campus tours etc. Alternatively, you could get a job in the city in bars, shops or restaurants. Pay will vary depending on where you work but typically can be between £6-£10 an hour
Hey, I want to know one significant information, I am moving up to Norwich by end of Jan, bcz my session will be starting on Feb 1.so would I be able to get any part-time jobs over there?
