- We look at 3 amazing houses in the Ornsirin Habitat development, the houses have just gone on sale this month.
The location of this place is spot on, 15 minutes away from the center of Chiang Mai Thailand;

I don't get the kitchen layouts. In the largest house, three small kitchens all in separate areas. Why not have just one large and properly functioning kitchen?
Yeah that's true, you can often find they have a Western kitchen and a Thai kitchen in houses like this but they didn't fit a proper kitchen in the show houses :)
Nice house I consider only to rent for 25y ,I pay the 25y advance
I well be in Thailand soon and we can meet and talk.
Stop loosely gaslighting your audience with the word luxury. The layout and fixtures don’t scream luxurious vibe. It nice and simple. Period.
Thanks for a great video.
It would be very interesting to have more videos of houses sold by the bank (foreclosure)
Thanks! Yep I plan to do more of those style videos, hoping for a few every month :)
Looks nice but you're paying so much money to be 15 minutes from the second biggest city in the country. I'd like to know what it would cost to build that house yourself in another location vs the premium from the property developers and proximity to the city.
I wouldn't know how much to build a house like this but the land around this area is quite high around 30k to 50k a wah.
so pretty much you can't even open windows....to me its over priced.
I thought the prices were quite good for what you get, not sure on the windows, I think they could be opened :)
The fittings in the kitchen and bathroom look really low quality and dated. The kitchen sink and faucet.. oh dear
Knowing that foreigners CAN'T OWN ANYTHING in Thailand: "Why keeping offering buying properties in that country?" Good for you if you married a Thai but for others this is a risky business, isn't it?
Houses look like they're made of cardboard.
Really, didn't feel like that in them :)
Don't you get baths in any Thai houses?
You do but it’s not very common
isn't Chiangmai now one of the most polluted air quality city in Asia.
Yeah, I'd live in the 2nd one, and rent the other 2 out 😊
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Yep that would be awesome 😁
After hearing the price, I knew that a house that sized had to be pretty far from the city center, but I wanted to know exactly where. After finding the developer's website and downloading the brochure for the this particular project ("Habitat Superhighway"), I found that the pinned location in the video description is incorrect (at least, as of 15 hours after the video was uploaded); the correct location is 3.1 km north, and on the opposite side of the highway.
Pin seemed to be of the restaurant from the previous video.
Thanks for raising that mate, I must have forgot to change the pin, I've put the correct one in now. The pin I used before was actually further away from the city. This is about 15 minutes from central Chiang Mai, it's close to where I have a house, it's a very convenient area as you can get in to central Chiang Mai with no traffic lights at all :) Thanks mate
Jon you are a YT posting machine! I get out a video about once every 4 months! Btw, these home tours are one of the best Thailand real estate videos you've done 🎉. Thanks for sharing this development. Is it true foreigners can own the home and get a 30 year lease on the land underneath?
Thanks, really appreciate your comment :) Yeah I'm trying to do daily videos, all recorded every Saturday, keeps me busy! Yes you can own the house and could get a 30 year lease on the land and that can be extended for a further 30 years.
@@JonInChiangMaithanks for the real estate info, looking forward to your next posts
hello Jon, if i am interested in purchasing a property, is there an agency that you would introduce ?
Yeah there are quite a few agencies, I've used 66 property before and I've heard Perfect Homes is good as well :)
The quality looks really good. Thank you for sharing
Thanks :)
On the furniture package I would like to comment that half of what I have seen in the video is from Index (wardrobe with green, yellow and blue doors is from the kids department, dining table and chairs I have just purchased two weeks ago ...). Having purchased a few houses in Thailand (in Chiang Mai as well), I am guesstimating that the developer has added between 15 to 20 percent on the retail price. So I would advise to take screenshots of what you like and then go to Index and buy the stuff yourself. Index will deliver and assemble, so there is no reason for the developer to add 15 to 20 percent margin, other than 'managing' the deliveries ...

Could you check out Graceland Family Residences in Hang Dong/San Pa Tong area?:D I'd be curious to learn more and hear your reviews!
Nice, thanks for the tour!
Cheers Tony :)
Foreigners are not allowed town houses in Thailand I was lead to believe. I heard Foreigners can own Condo's though.
Yeah thats true, would be best for someone with Thai family or with a genuine Thai company :)
Foreigners can own homes and lease the land they sit on for 20-30 year terms (renewable)
Amazing place !!
👍
Awesome place
Yeah I could see myself living there :)
Looks like inside a office building
Really, I didn't get that vibe :) Thanks for your comment mate :)
Nice, but not my cup of tea
😁
Thai batttt😂
Yes Thai baht
But no doors??? Wtf
Only show units. If they dont put doors, it makes the space seem bigger. Once you add the doors, you will lose a lot of space.
Yep like Mark said, this is because they they are show houses :)
what was the price?
The prices are in the video overlaid on screen, can't remember off the top of my head :)
@@JonInChiangMai i see it, at those prices there sould be a back yard and carport or garage
Bad designs for the price

The way they have done the interior decor really makes the houses look special.
Yep 100%, a shame that it would be about 2 million extra to have furniture like that 😂
@@JonInChiangMai Probably could do it yourself for 500,000 to that spec.
