- Curtin University’s Dean of Global Futures Professor Joe Siracusa has reacted to the shooting at former president Donald Trump’s Pennsylvania rally.
A bullet had pierced the upper part of Mr Trump’s right ear and he was evacuated from the site by the Secret Service following the gunshots.
Mr Siracusa described the shooting at Mr Trump’s rally as a “catastrophic failure” of the Secret Service.
Ask John F. Kennedy how good the Secret Service are!

I work on rooftops downtown. I saw snipers covering the BLM riots and the day time marches. There was even sniper coverage for the pride parades. There are police snipers at so many more events than people realize. It's hard to believe that there wasn't any sniper coverage for a political rally. It amazes me that Secret Service missed the shooter setting up the shots. After the police and Secret Security were alerted 4 minutes prior to the first shot.
The shooter was taken down almost immediately AFTER getting his shots off. He had a clear enough view to setup and acquire a target and get at least 3 shots off before being countersniped.
Even if they couldn't see the shooter why wouldn't they pull Trump from the podium at even the hint of a sniper.
Almost like they didn't want to risk the shooter becoming a problem later...

The shooter from the left of the podium was allowed to fire 4 spaced out shots consecutively by the Secret Service Snipers on the roof before they responded with faster cadence shots. The rifle produced muffled shots which indicate a possible sound suppressor on a semiautomatic rifle. A witness stated that he was showing the shooter to cops on the street and the cops were either very stupid or were in the shooting themselves.

The return fire was as fast as the shooter. Which means they were already dialing in on the assassin just before he opened fire.
Which suggests a pre-planned outcome.
