She immediately acted like a jerk to Hampton for just talking to him, demanded explanation for every one of Jacey's actions and got upset if she didn't like it (not trusting Jacey to do anything without her approval), she ignored him for a week just so he would feel lonely and desperate enough to do what she wants, and got mad at him for daring to hang out with a friend who wasn't her. This is all extremely controlling behavior. I don't want to completely villainize her though, I understand what she did it. Her boyfriend didn't actually love her so she was lacking the love and affection she needed, so she acted out. But she still should have communicated how she was feeling instead of manipulating him, and not just her but Jacey should have been communicating too.
