It amazes me how humans can build beautiful structures like the Colosseum yet also be so unkind towards each other. Thanks Jordan for allowing us to see these ancient marvels.

They used to do simulated sea battles at the colosseum. They would bring in painters, architects and recreate forests with real trees and bushes and then they would bring in the animals to either hunt or to display the natural habitat for the people of the city. Great vlog. I may never get to Italy in my life so this was the next best thing.
I expected to see rows of seating---what the spectators would sit on while watching the activities below---sort of like bleachers. But I really didn't see that. It looked like the people just stood and watched. Either that or I missed something. I visited there when i was six years old----a long time ago! EDIT: 14 minutes into this video, you answered my question about the seating---thank you Jordan.
Awesome vlog. There are so many people viewing it. It's so amazing that all of this is still standing even with earthquakes and pieces of it falling off. It seems sad in a way that there are signs on the walls saying No climbing or writing on the walls. You did a lovely job showing us The Colosseum. Can't wait to see where we go tomorrow.
I marvel at the construction of the place considering they had no use of electric or steam to aid in the construction and much of it remains standing today, it is amazing. Thank you for the tour, I have never seen the inside of the famous landmark

Brilliant video again. Just a couple of points, Mr Bean had a Mini and not a Fiat. The actual fight with Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris was filmed in a studio in Hong Kong but a lot of other shots where filmed in the Colosseum

The architecture is stunning ! Those poor people terrified for their lives. I couldn't imagine. Great work with your lenses ! I honestly felt as though I was there.
everyttime i see the colosseum it still gives that wow factor, interesting tour and thanks for sharing this vlog of yours although you get on about Nero but i thought he was dead before colosseum was built, thought it was Emperor Vespasian that built it although my memory might be wrong because i have read that much history but still really enjoy your vlog though from across the pond in UK
Amazing project. Funded with the spoils of the Jewish Revolt and conquest of Jerusalem, and built atop the old lakebed of Nero's Golden House. Vespasian wanted the area returned to public use and while the games inside may have been less than moral he did accomplish what he set out to do.

Wow Jordan , I didn't know you we're going to be able to go inside . That is a massive ancient place and a lot of history . I couldn't help but to feel bad though for all those poor people and animals that were killed . Like you said , it weighs heavy on your heart as a Christian . Researchers have discovered it was used for battleships, too. They would flood the Colosseum with water and watch the ships battle it out.
