  • Denim Tears has quickly become one of the most coveted clothing brands today. The cotton wreath print has already become widely recognized, and this brand is only a few years old. However, what people may not know is the story of why Tremaine Emory started this brand and what the cotton wreath represents. There is a real message behind the clothing and each collection tells a story.

The concept is beautiful and relatable, my mother is from white plains georgia born 1948 and picked cotton for her aunt.and she has alot of stories of the living conditions during that time.as an artist myself i definitely will be incorporating these ideas into an abstract painting❤

Money GRAB! Black people are extremely emotional so whether they purchased the items or brought it to light via social media merely for cotton balls being displayed he absolutely knew it would pay off financially! He’s been around he knows what will work.

Also extremely overpriced. Most normal folks can't afford a 400.00 sweater & honestly shouldn't. You can buy a Carhartt with stronger material that last longer for 100.00. Theses designers are vultures preying on peoples emotions.

First time I'm actually learning about denim tears and it's through this vid!:) small feedback you can take or leave: adding a bit of background music could help fill the gaps of air in between your talking, but dealers choice if you prefer to make yours without that! For the street fashion and hip hop culture. Tremaine conceived this brand and cotton wreath logo to continue to tell the story of our history with cotton in America, but he did it in this cool artistic way through fashion.

@@immaculatestyle I would argue that it's not cool, that it is in fact lazy, he's presenting no new ideas through his stories, he's practically the establishment with endorsements like Kanye, Virgil Abloh, and other highbrow connections, he's already in the mix so A$AP mob or Cardi B wearing his stuff is no big feat for him. Dude has one idea "Black people were slaves" and he's running with it printing onto blanks, come on man really? there are real brands out there pushing boundaries, Daily Paper, Patta, or Snooze Fabric perhaps. it makes me wonder how much you were paid to do this piece on Denim tears

@@Imasaydatshit well it can be many reasons. Some wear it cause it’s popular at the moment. Some wear it cause of the message. @Imasaydatshit Год назад +1

@@bigcooks2526dang this deep because if I put myself in the shoes of a non black person I wouldn’t wear it because the message is deeply rooted in SLAVERY. The people who aren’t black who wear denim tears don’t have anything else in their closet representing the struggles of black people. Everybody loves black creatives and black culture but will still lock the doors quickly if they see a black man near their car, or say racist things behind fake accounts on instagram, or be offended by the fact black people still being up slavery. Most white people even choose to judged black people by our criminal class but if black people chose to judge you all by that distorted way of thinking we would hate everybody who even appears white because of SLAVERY. I’m not saying your wrong for liking denim tears. What I am saying is that it hurts my feelings to live the reality that people love the art inspired by our struggles but systematically the world shows us they tolerate black people but nobody likes us.
