When KITT tells the bad guy to pull over, you can clearly see the driver's shadow behind the driver's seat.
Good episode. Love seeing KITT in the rain wipers and all Very rare to see! @3:40 one of the best Turbo Boost scenes looked like a real Trans Am possibly one of the train wreck cars? No miniatures here like in season 2 and beyond.

Just can't resist any of the KR episodes !!!! It was a pure treasure trove of clean wholesome fun & entertainment !!!!
My favorite episodes were Just my Bill, Knight Moves,Chariots of Gold, Custom made Killer, and Many Happy returns because in those episodes, when Michael and the foundation close in on the bad guys, they bring the cops.
After reading the description, it makes me wonder what would have happened to Michael and James Bond ever met.
Interesting and ambitious cross over indeed.

Kind of did happen in Die Another Day. The rocket missile dodge scene is straight from Knight Rider Knight of the Drones.

KITT's seat becomes a hidden driver (auto cruise) Anyway favorite TV show in my childhood 1980's.
Remember that time Michael had to reinflate KITT's auto cruise with his mouth? Or maybe that was Airplane.

I remember this chase scene from a repeat telecast on Star World quite vividly. I was staying with my uncle's for my summer holidays in my middle school.
Well by the look of your name are you an Indian? If so star world telecasted the Reboot in 2009 for Asia Pacific ( India Included). But this classic series was never telecasted going by my knowledge.

2002....2003. Star World brought it to us. First aired in the mid 80s here in India, Doordarshan.

This was so cool KITT of course, I sure do miss seeing them
Despite being made in the 1980's, this show visual style hold up pretty well and comes of as very cinematic.
3:47 The stuntman's jacket layed loose in the car. In the jump it got weightless and went out the window, where it got stuck. (true story)

So much rain in this episode.
Winter of ‘83 was a very wet winter in so cal, which is when this episode was filmed.
That's true. An Episode in which it also rained more often was: Race for Life Season 2
The same Chevy that they used in Lost Knight. The guy in the blue jacket looked A LOT like Michael Long
It could've been him. I've seen some of the same actors in different episodes.

The guy in blue was Marshall Teague.

Season 1 was good when it really got going but the earliest episodes (not specifically this one) clearly had growing pains

I just have 1 question. When those 2 cops pulled up, didn't they find it odd that Michael just handed them a suspect without getting all the facts first? I thought taking statements was a police procedure.
I thought this would be a collection of scenes where people saw KITT driving himself.
The woman is Gail Edwards who played Danny Tanner's girlfriend on Full House years later.
So Michael pulls up to the cabin and the occupants don't realise..hmmm it can only happen on Knight rider

Well, a few of the cars were modified as blind drive vehicle's. Joe from knight rider historians goes into detail about it, but, one of the seats were pulled out and a molded special seat was fitted into the car where they could drive the cars around and have the illusion of the car driving around by itself. Universal (I think) had I think it was at least 2 cars for it, one car had the drivers seat pulled out and the other had the front passenger seat pulled out. How they did the passengers side vehicle is think of a car -similar- to one of those vehicles modified for drivers ed, but in the universal way. There was controls on the passengers side that was linked to the main drivers side that allowed for them to drive the car on the passengers side.
