My favorite story of Yrvind was his sailing the Atlantic in his small boat Amfibie Bris from France to Newfoundland, getting there and preparing to go back when the Canadians confiscated his boat claiming it was too small to handle the Atlantic, and his subsequent stealing of his boat back from the authorities, putting it on a U-haul truck and driving to the US to sail from there.
