I love how you've chosen to highlight products that aren't just gimmicky and highlight great accessibility technology. Super content and good summaries.
The first one is literally a gimmick. Don’t get me wrong I think it’s a genius idea but I don’t see any main stream headset company that would waste weight and price when the OS can solve the same issue
A few people have mentioned this already but I LOVE the focus on accessibility in this video. People typically have pretty negative outlooks when it comes to wearables but seeing real world applications of how these technologies are being used to improve quality of life is awesome - definitely need to check out CES for myself next year!
This was so well done. Your b roll, writing, the prompting and allowing your interview clips to explain fluidly rather than having to set up every one of ur questions literally. How you had. System for each product (show, why it exists, how it works, why it matters) and how you combined it all themed to accessibility with well thought out realistic benefits and features. Even the emotional type of takes like “taking for granted” felt so genuine too! Prop. Not many CES videos showed me any products I’d care about and often they hyped things I felt were so stupid or old or not even explaining anything tech wise. This got me so excited and i want them to win and get more funding and attention so bad. I wouldn’t even be the one benefiting the tech here probably but I want those who need it to be able to have it and hopefully affordably eventually!! Respect to you sir! Subbing right now!
6:14 A ring like that can be perfect for air gestures. Imagine using this type of electronic ring to answer calls, fast forward a scene or replay a tutorial when engaged in other activities. This tech is awesome 😎👍🏿.
Man. That ring is such a simple product. I wish more companies are like that. Instead of add high tech features everywhere like for smartfriges, washers etc
Also I know it’s the consumer electronics show, but I was wondering if you happen to know of any startups there with B2B applications? Or any SaaS products? Thanks!
Lotus Ring. Super cool! But you never mentioned how it worked. Sure, the ring has an IR transmitter but what receives the signal, and how does pointing at an item turn it on and off?
There is a magnetic module that you can place on top of your mechanical switch. It has the IR Receiver. When you point the ring to the switch and tap on it, It blasts an IR signal towards the pointed direction and receiver will pick up the signal to toggle the switch.
Hope the ring can double as a hand tracker for ar glasses. Like if you have your hand behind you. The headset guesses better where ur hands are. More precision.
That vibration guide for visually-impaired people seems wonderful! Those light and sound machines at the end have been around for decades. I've had a few and currently have a Kasina.
The vibrating blind guide device would really take off if they could get it to a ball cap form factor with the battery, cpu, memory in your pocket, just the sensors and rotators on the head.
I was hoping that the visual impairment device would have object recognition tech with an option for the wearer to get audible descriptions of surroundings.
Hey there as I was watching this video, I was really inspired seeing the blind Smart glasses you guys made, and as a blind person I would love to test them out
Is there a wearable device that projects an image of what a camera sees infront of the eye for people with severe myopia. The idea is that all that the person cant percieve visually be brought closer on a 2d screen within their focussing range. Prescription Glasses cant help in this case.
The camera at the beginning surly its going to cost you more for that than a guide dog and what about the updates and stuff like that how does a blond person manage to see what they are doing to set it up and all that
According to .lumen, the camera glasses will cost about $5000. Note that the yearly cost of dog ownership is about $2000 for small dogs, factoring in food, vet bills, etc.

Excellent and super interesting take on CRS coverage, really enjoyed it. Thanks for this quality content.
I found Lumen and Lotus to both be so ingenious! I'm curious, out of the thousands of startups, how did you decide which ones to spend time visiting?
Careful planning and research! I combed through hundreds of emails, and narrowed it down to the most interesting ones to me!
This means a lot to us. Thank you 🙂

Truly appreciate the human-cemeteries quality of life focus. Technology is worthless unless it raises the total quality of life.

New sub here! Some fantastic tech here. Keep up the great work!
Player 1 ready
When will VR adjust to people who have an eye stigmatizim
hi luv ur vids
The Sana startup is fascinating, as I truly believe there is a lot of power in the mind's ability to heal the body.
how can you not sleep with lights on?
no way I'll ever sleep in the dark 😆
🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
What about a car going 35 mph. Will it alert you like a guid dog?
Some of the tech is very cool, particularly for disabled peoples
7:04 it does sound miserable, I love my 2-4 hours of sleep and couldn't imagine any less.
😁😎
For the blind people, wh y doesn’t the AI just give verbal instruction about how to navigate the screen?
It's a cheap artha
The camera at the beginning surly its going to cost you more for that than a guide dog and what about the updates and stuff like that how does a blond person manage to see what they are doing to set it up and all that
Probably voice activated

I believe they’re also working with governments to subsidize the tech so that it’s covered by insurance. TBD on that though.
