      Just started to watch channels that do these reviews and builds, not gonna toss out names because advertising and so on.
      But seeing you guys pushing out the sets to the community, I get that it's advertising and a worthwhile expense for you guys. But seriously, you guys give off some good vibes and take feedback and improve.
      Hats off to you guys. Once I'm done with this tour and back at home I'll be looking into the products.

      @@CreamAle Wow! Thank you for your kind words! :)

      @@ArchonStudio if it didn't look like a quality product and wasn't reviewed well by folks I take highly like BMC or Ryobo, I wouldn't think twice about this and just move on.
      But, they've been honest about things and showed the several flaws and that you guys listened and fixed what was possible between set 2 and 3.
      The fact you guys actually are trying to improve the product and make it as well as possible deserves praise because that unfortunately is not the norm across just about any industry.. unless there's possible legal fees that could come up.
      Well, anyways y'all have a great day. Gotta get up do workout and rehearsal for tomorrow's concert.

    Really nice translucent tiles. With your fairy lights you can have some bioluminescent algae.

      Oh yeah! I have all sorts of colors with those lights so I gotta experiment to see what else I can do with them!

    Just received my Kickstarter 2 set on Friday. The box looked like it was thrown off and run over by every truck from Poland to Germany to France to America, but this product is tough. Checked everything, and all of my pieces are in perfect shape. I'll definitely be buying more items from Dungeons and Lasers in the future.

    Great review, thanks. I love that it only takes a drybrush to enhance the detail.

    • @Blandco
      @Blandco  3 года назад +1

      Yes it's actually very interesting. Most sculpts really only have 2 levels of depth then detail on the surface. These tiles have like 4 levels of depth on some of the designs and surface detail. So if you drybrush 3 times you will have 3 distinct colors on the tiles. They really are a snap to paint!

    I love the D&L stuff. I say and clipped mine while I was watching RUclips videos and it really didn't take that much time. I really suggest investing in a set of flat side clippers like you were using and if you're careful, you can get a nice flat clip with minimal cleanup.

    That looks amazing, and I love all the detail. Did you have to prime the pieces before painting them?

    • @Blandco

      I did not prime the clear pieces but the rest I did.

    I wonder if there would be a way to diffuse the glow from the lights better? Maybe something like wax paper?

    @Blandco, how do you pre notes for your dungeon crawls?

    • @Blandco
      @Blandco  3 года назад

      It really depends some of the ones that I've run a bunch of times are fully written out. Some of the more improving ones basically have the high notes and monsters. As I've been doing it seems like it always is kind of a better idea to have everything written out with descriptions traps monsters skill tests and everything.

    Did you put primer on the tiles before painting or are they "ready to paint" out of the box?

    • @Blandco
      @Blandco  4 месяца назад +1

      These are plastic sprue (High Impact Polystyrene) so you need primer for durability. This sort of plastic takes any sort of primer well.
