Aussie heartthrob, Jason Donovan was a bigger success in Britain than in his homeland but he nevertheless scored several hits in the late 80's and early 90's. 'When You Come Back To Me' was released in anticipation of his sophomore LP 'Between The Lines' which was issued 30 years ago this month; just missing the Top spot in England (#2) but only making #40 in Australia. Benefiting from the Stock Aitken & Waterman Hit Factory recipe for success, Jason 's looks combined with the trio's cleverly crafted dance pop gems, helped the actor/singer find major success. I've re-edited the original concept clip with the extended mp3 of the track. Not perfect but fun and a great song.
