you know the funny thing is that this is just everyone's local bar on Super Bowl night.
I know Chris Walas likes to complain (a *lot*) about how stressed out he was over the amount of work that was involved in creating the puppets. But ... wasn't it worth it? I mean, look at what was accomplished! And look at how popular this movie is!
One thing I would have liked to see: Some gremlins dancing like the Rockettes.
Or maybe that's the coffee talking. :D
I love when the gremlin was hangin on the ceiling fan spining out of control and flew right across the bar lol.

Man is this scene so hilarious!!! I was on the floor laughing when I first saw this! My favorite part is where the Gremlins are playing poker, as I told myself that I could see them playing poker in this scene, and sure enough it happens! Just laugh out loud hilarious!

Always makes me roll to see the Gremlin under the beer tap with it flowing wide open into his mouth lol. That crew drank so much brew I'm surprised one of the beer companies didn't try to use it in a commercial or mascot lol.
When/if Gremlins 3 comes out, I really hope they used puppets and not CGI. It would remain faithful to the originals and the creatures are more believable.

Gremlins: trolls 4 life
When you go back and watch this move, especially this scene considering the electrocution, one gremlin shooting another, and more, it's funny how the movie only got a PG-13. It definitely would of gotten an R rating today, if it even got released. I can just see all the complaining that would happen over this movie. I love this movie though.

This was given a '15' rating in England at the time and was recently reclassified as a '12A'.
Maybe people aren't quite as uptight as I thought these days. I figured the rating would go up (in any country) but especially here in the US as much as the conservative folks seem to complain about every little thing.
Yes I completely agree, it's because PG-13 was made for older teens, & young adults. But adults starting taking their younger children to see those movies and complained that things were too graphic. So now PG-13 is really for younger kids and their parents. And since the biggest age group is teens and young adults (who can't actually go to see rated-R movies, unless they're over 18), producers and such make movies that could be really good more toned down and written for littler kids. I didn't have to write all this but... lol idk yea this would've been rated-R.
