I'm sorry, but this video only shows the MAJOR trainers, and Youngster Joey is just an ordinary trainer who doesn't play a major role in the story of Pokémon games.
Let’s Go is such a beautiful game. I wish we had more like it, with a cohesive art style, cool animations, and detailed backgrounds. I even like that the trees and grass look cartoonish, rather than the “realistic” nature that they have going on in the later games.
My favorite pokémon trainer defeat animations are blue's, misty and red even though he just says"....." everyone else's defeat animations were also really great and amazing in Pokémon let's go pikachu/eevee.😍

However, Blue has Pidgeot, Alakazam, Rhydon, Arcanine, Exeguttor and a starter dependant on what you chose (Blastoise, Charizard, Venusaur). Every Pokémon on his team spells trouble, so I see Blue as a bigger challenge than Green, as Blues' team is pretty fast, bulky and powerful. I am not at the least threatened by Greens' team, but Blue threatens me.

So if there's only a four year gap at maximum between this game and SM/USUM...then what- It would imply that Red and Blue are both 26 in this game, given that they're about 30 in SM/USUM. But then that means this game takes place 15 years after the original RGBY... But that would mean Lorelei retired, Agatha died, Lance ascended to Champion, Blue was always Gym Leader, Red was on a Mountain, and the rest of the new Elite Four are present. But none of that is clearly true here. So either this game isn't canon, or Pokemon doesn't know their own lore, lol.
