A big thank you for this. Only downloaded CVPiano today (a challenge in itself :) and now I've got it beautifully set up and saved as a scene entitled 'CV Urthmusic' in my Brainspawn Forte VST host software.
Glad you still find the video useful. I will soon be reviving my youtube channel, I'm currently refurbishing my house I bought a few months back. When it's done I will set-up my studio and off we go - can't wait to get back into composing music every day :-) This channel will be all about composing music, selling royalty free music online and other creative music related projects. Have fun making music!
this is very very good, thanx so much.Have to watch a few times to take in and note.Tried and paid for loads of Pianos, most I found not that good and a dissapointment.CVPiano is as good as any of them, only my opinon.Wish they made and updated version its difficult to get it up and working. It took me many hours.Thanx again
Thank you so much for helping make it usable. It doesn't compare to True Pianos or Pianoteq or Pianissimo, but it does sound great. I appreciate your work and now my version sound very acceptable. Thanks again.
Hey, thank you so much for this, followed your advice and put a little extra reverb on in FLstudio, sounds much nicer than other piano vst's I've used. I made a piano composition to test it out if anyone wants to hear the end product in FL studio: Roads : Islands
wow, this is really amazing vst for free! unbelievable, i just tuned it this morning thanks so much im just wondering, i dont have a pedal for my keyboard yet is there a way to bind a key on the keyboard for use as a pedal or can i make every note played, to be sustained after playing so it is sustained automatically for a little bit?
I open up CVPiano but i can't load any instruments on..? I click on the down arrow next to "Click to load..." and the load > -but nothing appears after that. I'm stuck on the first hurdle. The VST loaded fine. Any suggestions? Thanks
Just gonna reply to this in case anyone finds this video and doesn't know what to do: You have to run the CVPiano-GVI-Modeled_Setup.exe. After that, then the Load option will actually have options.
Ok I got it to work now but I use Reaper as a DAW, and it keeps freezing, I closed the FX window and it stopped freezing. I have never been more annoyed searching for a grand piano VSTi
The piano sounds good overall and thank you for the suggested tweaks, thumbs up. However, certain keys at higher velocities, roughly from 120 upwards, so "forte", suddenly sound incredibly harsh and unnatural, with a weird sounding ring, and stick out like a sore thumb when playing. Also, it's uneven, eg. B3flat sounds a lot worse than B3... Some bad samples/sample mapping (I can't find sample mapping tools in the editing section)?
Hi, I'm using reaper (64) and I have downloaded CVPiano and in the UI the edit button is greyed out. Do you have any tips I am still new to DAW's in general so it might be a silly mistake. all help appreciated
I ask the same question here as i did on the other video ^^ Hi i managed to get this into cubase but i get no sound. All the keys are greyed out and so are the edit and gigapulse buttons. What am i doing wrong? :)
Hi! I just downloaded the Plugin, followed your instructions and it sounds great! But: After every Stop/Pause it keeps switching back to full volumne.. Do you still use this plugin and/or have a solution for this? (I use Reaper as DAW; never had a problem like this before). In case I got your accent right: Antwort gerne auch in deutsch :D
I don't use this plugin anymore, but I never had that issue. I might just make a new video showing how to use CV on newer systems - since many still ask questions.
So which is your favourite piano plugin now? Would be interested to know. Just installed CVPiano and like it but always handy to have some suggestions.
Hi. I now mostly use Cinematic Studio Piano ($69). Very expressive and I have not found any problems with the samples at all. I always load that one up, when I want to play piano. I have not looked at free pianos for a long time, but that might change soon...
Are you looking for a good free and modern Grand Piano VST, then check out my new video ruclips.net/video/V1ne801iogU/видео.html 🙂

I am having the same problem. Did you figure it out?
You need to bridge it probable as it's a 32bit dll.
No MAC version?
I ask the same question here as i did on the other video ^^
