Top 5 Aces IMO. Tell me what’s your definition of an Ace? Is it someone who scores the most points no matter their position, or someone who is not only good on offence but defence as well, maybe your most consistent and reliable hitter or your most dangerous and strongest, in truth it’s probably all of this combined. I define the "Ace" as the person you turn to when your backed into a corner, someone who you can trust to bail you out no matter the circumstances, a true leader and role model who perseveres against all odds time an time again, basically your best offensive option. Obviously we already know who the Top 5 Aces are, being Ushijima, Kiryu, Sakusa, Ojiro and Bokuto but what we don’t know is the exact order, I believe these rankings are based post Inter-High therefore deserve an update for the Spring-High. Inter-High Aces Only. 1. Wakatoshi Ushijima. 2. Wakatsu Kiryu. 3. Kiyoomi Sakusa. 4. Aran Ojiro. 5. Kotaro Bokuto. Spring-High Aces Only. 1. Kotaro Bokuto. 2. Wakatsu Kiryu. 3. Kiyoomi Sakusa. 4. Korai Hoshiumi. 5. Asahi Azumane. End of Year Top 5 Aces. 1. Wakatoshi Ushijima. 2. Wakatsu Kiryu. 3. Kiyoomi Sakusa. 4. Kotaro Bokuto. 5. Aran Ojiro. 1. Wakatoshi Ushijima - I believe he is the most ideal Ace, your modern right side, absolutely cannon of an arm, super consistent with everything he does on an off the court, a true leader and captain of his team who some may consider blunt but honest, heavily relied upon by his team and shown to able to go the distance scoring almost half of his teams total points, which is absurd. He is the benchmark for all Aces, influencing those he played to evolve and become better players. Lastly I wanna say he is the only known player to be apart of the under 19 youth world championship squad during HS. 2. Wakatsu Kiryu - He is one of most versatile hitters we see, able to adapt to any set without losing power or accuracy as well as being able to go through or above triple blocks regularly, like Ushijima heavily relied upon by his team. Despite having a lot of self doubt he is a mentally strong player able to continue playing his best regardless of his worries. 3. Kiyoomi Sakusa - The thing is that we just don’t know much about him during HS, how impactful he was for his team, what type of role he played, how good his teammates were and so on. The one thing I noticed with the top teams, is that they are very well balanced therefore are less reliant on their Ace same as teams with great setters, lets take Shiratorizawa for example, if you were to put Oikawa into that team they become a lot less reliant on Ushijima because he is a more adventurous setter and this could be a similar case with Itachiyama. 4. Kotaro Bokuto - By the end of the year he has started to developed into a so called normal Ace, essentially eliminating his bad habits trying to becoming a more reliable player and teammate. He has always been one of the most dangerous and creative hitters on the court, having the ability to go down the line, across court, over the top or off the block, his ball placement and shot selection is second to none when he’s in peak condition. His confidence mixed with his enthusiasm can be infectious influencing those around him as well as his drive and determination to be the best separate him from the rest. 5. Aran Ojiro - Like I said before the better the team the less reliant they are upon their Ace, proven when Inarizaki subbed him out to rest him showing their depth and overall quality of players at their disposal, not being hindered without their Ace. He is very athletic and strong, shown how versatile he can be and when he’s on form can rival those of the top 3.

Sakusa is the highest ranked spiked out of them all. Literally in the show
No he's not? In high school he's part of the top 3, but we never get an official order for the top 3. And then he's the best player in the collegiate championship, but I'd argue Ushijima is still the best hitter of the v league.
Ushijima in Nationals, and after Nationals is still the top 1 Ace. He even abandoned his old style and created a new one that is even more powerful than the first one.
He is such a powerhouse!
You guys know that Hoshiumi is an ace right?
How is he no mentioned? He is clearly as good as Bokuto at least.
I think Ushijima was inspired in Yuji Nishida
Was Nishida already playing pro when Ushijima got introduced? Idk if it matches.
Top 1 Sakusa. Top 2 Ushijima. Top 3 Bokuto these are aces of the national level
I agree with you, I’m having a very interesting conversation with some people who think Ushijima is better because he only got blocked once in the game against karasuno. And cause his feats in the show are ridiculous apparently
@@samarabarlow3685ushijima is better than sakusa
Thank you for sharing your opinion 🙂
I think Sakusa is more better than ushijima as an all rounder as he's more refined in defense and uses more technique then power. 👍
It's literally in maga and anime and kanon the list is like this.
1.kiryu
2.sakusa
3.ushijima
4.bokuto (it is revealed in maga and anime that bokuto is easy top3 but his emotions behaviour is make him 4th in top)
5. It's not revealed who it is it's not Asahi, ashai never made it into top level.
Alan ojuro is also one of the 5 ace in haikyuu
Sakusa should be the 1st he's spikes at the manga was great, his also the mvp in haikyuu college.❤❤
Ujishima,sakusa, hoshiumi,bokuto, aran without a doubt
Bhai parents apni bahot sari Chije sacrifice karte hai hum log ko padhane ke liye din bhar kam karte hai sirf hum log ke success ke liye
Aur phir hamara kharab result dekh ke vo kyu khush honge
Asahi vs kamomedai was insane
Everyone: enjoys the video
Me: HIKARE ARE
As a left-handed I couldn't agree more
I notice Ushijima has the same jersey number with Nishida of Team Japan
Bro really said Asahi enters into a top 5
Why did haikyuu end so early I'm not ready for its end 😭 We should have atleast gotten seasons instead of 2 movies
next haikyuu❤
Ushijima is a monster out of all the high schoolers. And then he gets beaten by Hinata from the parking lot. lol
An all round developed team will mostly win against an incomplete team like Shiratorizawa. 😎
He doesn't get "beaten by Hinata" he got beat by Karasuno, remember at this point Kageyama is still the only thing that actually get Hinata to stay on court. Also Ushijima scored over 40 points by himself, Hinata by himself doesn't even make a crack.
Korai snub is insane 💀
"there is no weak spot in his game" sure as hell never seen his many service errors then
his serves are literally one of his biggest strengths
@@amai-w8f he did make 3-4 service errors in the match against karasuno
@@rageguyyyaa I mean, service errors are bound to happen at any level unless you play it super safe. I think Haikyuu differentiates itself from most other sports anime/manga by showing that even the best players are still human.
@@Guah00 but at the end of the day, that does mean there are weak spots in their game
@@rageguyyyaa The best servers in the world like Nishida and Nimir make service errors all the time. It tends to happen when you take big serves aimed to score points or disrupt formation, and not play it safe. This isn't Kuroko's basketball where every play succeeds unless the opponent's defense is better than your offense.
Ushijima is truly the jiren of hikyuu. Just give him a high set and he won’t get block. Bokuto he will spike around the block #4 and spike any set low or high with 100% power. Than #2 being the spin master. But I didn’t see enough from asahi to put him here as top 5 for me.
He is an Ace for sure but I needed to see what he would do next game, will he stay at that state? Is it only when he’s dead tire? Can he now get through any block without Hinata being a decoy? Kurasuno is a team of multiplication where each team meme bed truly brought the team together even losing 1 or 2 against a good team really does drop their overall power dramatically. Ushijima is a score of 70 that he bring his team power up just my himself but no one in kurasuno could had gone into any team and be a great help. I would place the white little giant as top 5
Hoshiumi laughing in the corner.
It’s his opinion
@@WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA why does everyone take things personal, dude chill out..
@@ayushmaansinghal3659 I just said it’s his opinion???
@@WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA for some reason you sounded angry...my bad🙂
😂😂😂
Bro hoshiumi should be on that list, that guy can play any position whether it’s a lib or any other
That’s why he’s not really an “ace”
Sakusa might be the most slept on player in the series, like do you not realise he won nationals as a first year ace? People have kiryu above him 😂
Yeah sakusas technique and defense is actually really good for an ace and also his crazy spin. After nationals I'd take kiryu out of the top 3 and put bokuto in there cause of what we saw with the fuko v mujina match 💀
Post time skip it's said that he's the best ace in Japan league
@@fufuwaanters thats never stated in the series, if anything ushijima is probably the best hitter in japan
@@salt7532 it's stated, at the beginning of the match black jackals vs adlers, with the introduction of the team and specially sakusa
@@salt7532 "Recently voted best player in the national volleyball championship ", ushijima is the player with the greatest brute force but sakusa's technique and play, style better, also before time skip ushijima is top 3 of ace while sakusa is top 1 or 2
Ushijima is most influental character in this series
Fuck no
He's the big boss of the series
@@n.a3642 Figure of speech bro. But impact alone he's the strongest character in the series. Even Sakusa another top 3 spiker was trying to catch up to him in Middle school. And he's the only character that played in Japan u-19 volleyball team. Hence why I called him "boss". Team wise I think Inarizaki was stronger but you get my point
@@n.a3642 oikawa actually is the big boss if you read the manga lol
Kageyama?!
honestly, we barely saw Kiryu imo for him to be here, I get that hes good and one of the best but i can't put him here if we only saw like, one match of him against Fukorodani
That’s more than what we saw of Sakusa during HS 😂 gotta work with what we got
1. Ushijima
2. Kiryuu
3. Sakusa
4. Bokuto
5. Aran
sakusa beats ushijima
Bro that little guy who hinata meets is better than Asahi and aran
He is taller then hinata and his name is hoshiumi believe it
I dont think he was the ace
@@stephaniejohnson5361 Hoshiumi is the ace of Kamomedai
@@irichkateamarante1645 nevermind then
he isn‘t better than aran
Aoba Johsai's ace, Iwaizumi is also quite good. But I guess he was good because The Great King was his setter
I think met top 5 would be Aran, sakusa, bokuto, ushijima, and hoshiumi
The only anime has many characters powerful than mc 🤞🏻 everyone stands in their unique way
Hinata in manga : hmm??
Heeeey, Heeeyyy ,Heyyyy, bokuto is the best
Sakusa will always be my #1 🥰
I may be cooking on a full Sakusa analysis video 👀👀
@@aniessays yes please 🥺
The fact that in the future sakusa and bokuto will be in the same club with hinata and atsumu. I cant wait to see this 4 beast to be animated
Not having Hoshiumi on this list is psychotic
That kid might literally be the best Ace in the whole series. He was absolutely Top 3 at that first nationals, likely #2.
S class in game IQ, jump height, ability to beat a wall, serve quality, blocking, SETTING??
The only performance we've seen better than his was Ushijima, and he had a whole team built around him to make sure he could hit the most. He avoided tons of stuff Hoshi has to do, like receives, digs etc.
The order of skill pre-timeskip is probably Hoshiumi, Atsumu, then Ushijima
Bro please add the word "in my opinion"
It is clearly mentioned in the show
The top 3 are sakusa, ushijima, kiryuu
And top 5 there is bokuto and Aran
Imagine asaji full potential
Top 5 for me at least for me.
1. Ushijima
2. Sakusa
3. Hoshiumi
4. Bokuto
5. Kiryu
The reason that i made hoshiumi number 3 is because of the height disadvantage. He still gets to go through a 2 meter wall like tomas. His keen eyesight surpasses bokuto's as well.
at the end of the manga bokuto is first
@@legnome1547yessir
W for ushijima
1. ushijima (perfect hitting form, good receiver, very strong serve)
2. kiryu ( the best player in terms of physicality, strong serve, can hit even the worst passes)
3. hoshiumi (technique wise best in the series)
4. bokuto ( the best precision hitter in the series, strong serve, good receives, kinda volatile)
5. aran (amazing stamina, probably the 2nd best in terms of physicality, good defense)
this is best on their performance up to nationals so no timeskip.
i also didnt put sakusa here since we didnt get to see him play during highschool
I'm not sure if Korai Hoshiumi (white haired guy with higher vertical than Hinata) is an ace, but if he is, then he should be in this list.
Imagine Asahi with tanaka mentality
Bokuto the Goat
My top 5 list after reading manga :-
1. Nicollas Romero
2. Sakusa
3. Ushijima
4. Bokuto
5. Kiryu & Kōrai
Me waiting there for iwaizumi 🧍♂️
my top 5:
1. Yuki Ishikawa
2. Ran Takahashi
3. Yuji Nishida
4. Kento Miyaura
5. Kai Masato
real life is very entertaining to watch.
