Your hair looks so good!! I have used practically everything from Pattern’s lineup. The products work very well for my curl type. The mask gave me very juicy and defined waves/curls. I’m going to try the scalp serum next. I’d be interested in seeing your wash and go. Take care! ~Denise
Pattern beauty is definitely a brand that sticks to its aesthetic! Never weighting the hair down, but definitely giving it hold! The custard is definitely her best styler! I definitely feel like the treatment mask, should be used for the state your hair’s in! Instead of following up with another conditioner, I definitely feel like just adding the leave in, letting it sit, then styling is definitely a good combo too!
@Trinity M leave ins, are extensions of conditioners. So applying the leave in in the shower, letting it sit under a cap until styling, is affective. Water is the only source of moisture. So whether a deep conditioner or leave in, the cuticle can lay flatter to retain hydration! Most of the time, the product is only saying to use a second conditioner, for the feel of hydration! Instead of the function of hydration. The feeling of hydration is so different that the function of hydration!
Today is June 21st, 2022 and your hair turned out really pretty, nice and curly. My hair is growing back from having breast cancer twice and my twa is growing back. I am still on cancer medication. I have been using Cantu products. Cantu avocado hydrating repair leave in cream and Cantu coconut curling cream and Cantu shea butter grow strong strengthening treatment and Cantu moisturizing curl activator cream and Palmers length retention hair and scalp oil with Biotin and vitamin E and I added olive oil carrot oil and castor oil. My scalp is still sensitive and I message my scalp twice a day. Thank you for the wonderful video it gives me some thing to look forward to. I'm 64 years young and my hair was long and past my shoulders before I ever was diagnosed with breast cancer. God's continued love and blessings to you and everyone.

My hair is high porosity, so I use the Treatment Mask strictly as a light protein treatment that makes hair stronger by filling in gaps in the cuticle; I follow-up w the Pattern Medium Conditioner and then the Pattern Leave-In. My hair is soft and shiny when done. Haven’t tried Pattern stylers (gels or creams), so I appreciate your demo.
I really like the hydration shampoo, it has nice slip and smells nice. I also like the strong hold gel and edge control for puffs. I have the custard but haven't tried it yet. The treatment mask is nice too. I went through one jar but don't plan on repurchasing. I don't think my hair needs it. Overall I think it's a decent brand.

The transition mask is the only hair product I like from Pattern Beauty. I only use it right after a protective style tho to strengthen my hair. I would like you to try out the gel again to see if you feel the same about them.

Just found out after almost 20 years of being natural that my hair loves shea butter also! I probably have over $3000 worth of hair products in my stash…the olaplexs, curlsmiths, etc. and I just recently tried Cantù whipped buttercream style for high porosity and I am beyond amazed with the results!!! For the absolute first time in my natural hair journey I have hair that is moisturized for six or seven days. So happy for me that I found this product 😇
Pattern is very good products you just have to find the right consistency conditioner/consistency for your hair because they have like extra light light medium and 10 superintendents so you gotta find out right one because it did the same thing to my hair and then once I found the right one for my curly hair, it worked perfect and cut my hair smooth
I have a few pattern products but I never tried there shampoo or custard yet. I still use Cantu leave ins and pattern defining cream. I have 3b spiral curls. Should I stop using leave ins? My hair doesn't like proteins to much but loves cream products. Your hair looks amazing. Look forward to you using the custard as a wash n go. 😋

I’m new here and after 7 years. my hair texture has changed again. It resembles yours especially when wet. I can no longer use the treatment for the same reason that you mentioned. I’ve never used a custard before🤔

I am trying to decide between the Styling custard and the styling cream. I was planning to get the cream, because soft holds usually do better on my hair. Now seeing this idk -- the styling custard WORKED on her - mine is similar texture 4a but hates all gels. Currently the only styler that works for me is CRN Almonld Jai Tw Bttr.
ok results!!! listen I am a Pattern stan! I love all the products you tried. With the treatment mask I only use it before cleansing and that is my favorite use. It was too strong for me as a DC but as a prepoo its AMAZING and put it with the scalp serum AMAZING lol i would say if you are interested in using it up try it before cleansing with the scalp serum. Really enjoyed this wash day :)
I have been wanting to try the custard so I might now. I agree about the mask but it definitely helps with the curl definition. I use a good moisturizing DC after it. How is the hold of the custard after a day or so?
You can get a tingle with sulfa 8 too and be much cheaper my daughter wanted to stop and watch this I have no interest in buying her products Kinky curly is a good product for my hair and my daughter curls she has a father's naturally wavy curly hair
