the greatest punching bag in the game: Nigong
Can't go wrong with the long Nigong
"Theo and Perna have element advantage," had me dying. I started playing in early 2017 and my most wanted unit at that time was Perna. I used to tell my guildies at that time "I wanted her bc of her stats, she heals, gets 2 lives, and has element advantage!" lol
I used to run Bael before I got Alicia and before he recently got buffed (again).
My issues with this unit are, that on one hand, he does absolutely nothing, that other Nat5 or even some Nat4 can not do better.
He needs way too many skillups to justify what he does in comparison to the amount of set up he needs to actually do what he is supposed to do.
He lost all his PvE niche slots with the rework of Dimensional Raid (former Predator).
The amount of setup he needs to do anything at all, is just too damn high.
Post rework, his leaderskill became obsolete, since his Dots can no longer be resisted. While an argument can be made for accuracy being a beneficial stat, it's no longer a requirement, thus obsolete.
Alicia does not need 6-9 fight sets to deal the same amount of total damage.
Alicia will crit guaranteed on S2 vs units that have crit resist, Bael won't.
Unfortunately enough, Bael does more or less what Zaiross does. Unfortunately enough, Zaiross does it better... The only upside Bael has, is that he won't glance under natural circumstances. The downside is, that Zaiross can increase cooldowns, thus preventing a lot of revives.
Kakhi deals more damage with the same quality runes and with the lack of cd necessity, his glances will still deal a lot more damage.
The only place, I'd ever bring a Bael again, is in Siege versus a very particular LD defense, with Nepthys (if I had one), because he counters certain mechanics of the defense. But that defense is so rare, and unreliable in the current meta, no one plays it any more.
Also, he is more reliable in terms of damage on a fat build, with something like Kona/Theon/Harg, but even then I could not justify bringing him in. Sad truth is, that double Lushen team will still outperform this guy, since all they need is atkbuff and gauge compensation. No def breaks, acc/res checks, ignore def, only downside is vs fire.

I use him (don't have Lucifer) in rta just for the second skill whit Leo Tilasha (haven't Vivachel) and Light Ryu.
My usual cleave team: Isis, Bael, Galleon, Tiana. But is a risky team to use as Bael always get cut in without Spd Ldr.
I was running bael with lucifer as a joke then gave it some acc and was pretty impressed

Yeah I was using him with nept Tiana akhamamir vs abelio Juno, it's good for that if you don't have other options.
Poseidon its still good, and Beth may be better now
Edit . With nepth and bael debuffs akhamamir even without attack buff hits really really hard
Did you know bellenus does additional damage per debuff? I use him and amber with Nephthys

im lucky enough to have nepthis and kovarci on my acc... Nepth+tiana+kovarci and bael... even sometimes my tiana managed to cleanup after bael
bael (lead) nora sath +1. swift/vio/despair + will. amazing team you only need around 20-30 accuracy with his leader, and you can rune him spd cd hp with some attack subs for at least one extra dot on his 3 (each 25% hp lost is 1 dot)
issue is without dmg he doesn't land many dots
On your first damage test you increased cool times on nigong which put his damage reduction into play I believe
Only on allies . Nigong didnt receive reduction dmage effect

I run a cleave team all week. Tiana, galleon, isis, bael. I rarely lose and hold midweek legend for a day or two. I never claim legend because I go to bed too early.
I use him in siege and works wonders
Now hear me out, I know this one ain't as good as Kaki, or Something like Water polar queen who gets that double sweep with aoes, however, I'm curious how well you can make a full damage jumaline work, given her stats and leader ability, as well as damage output, again I know not as good as some other units, but I've seen her do some crazy damage, I've been using Celine(in your case galleon or Water Pudding princess), Vereesa/Iselia, Jumaline, and well thanks to this video I tried ganymede, but I suppose you could also put in a single target sniper like arang for cleanup,(I mean with your stats you may not need cleanup, my ranges are still only ok, I'm sure you could get her to like 3500 attack and 240 cd, I mean she does enough damage to act as a lushen substitute in giants... so, I dunno if she will take out a byungchung, but if you bring a fire sniper or Tessarion she'd prolly do fine in cleaning up and element neutral is always nice.
Bael is amazing I use him turn 2 mephisto lead HP lead and passive .. then Tianna galleon bael
Would leah still be good in the current cleave meta to replace bael? What are the stats i should aim on her for artifact?
I wouldnt use her as bale replacement i guess, but she is still great. I would go fot CD Artis (s2 CD, CD high and low, spd up effect and then probably Add Dmg by Spd and Atk)
leah is still good, its just slight bit worse cus everyone was spamming leah resulting in everyone going -light artifacts
@@Seiishizo So right now people use minus Light rather than minus Wind against Lushen stuff for instance? Has it overall become a minus light meta in arena defense right now?

I use thiana psamathae 85 acc to reset galeon and last bael i alternate with one shots with sonia up to c1 -c2

Bael got less damage on nigong because you increased its cool time. It activated it damage reduction

I really wish OP would go back to meaning overpowered and not a synonym for good.
considering the level of your runes, he does not even close to enough damage to be worth using for 99% of players. Next time try to get a reference damage from an alicia or whatever fits for the unit with the same runes, would be nice to see a reference for these kinds of videos
