- My first reaction to "Chalk Outlines" by Ren ft Chinchilla LIVE... Here are my initial thoughts.

This song really moved me (as many of Ren's songs do) and Ren & Chinchilla's musical connection is something very special, in fact they describe themselves as "Musical Siblings". Another Ren X Chinchilla duet well worth checking out is "How To Be Me [Live]"... such a haunting song, full of emotion, and a memorial to Ren's friend, Joe Hughes. Possibly my favourite Ren Track.
Im 50 years old and at 19 was diagnosed with Chronic Clinical depression. I've been on some form of psychiatric medication ever since. This song means so much to me, I have to say that meds have saved my life but I also feel that I lost some part of me with them and I've almost forgotten what that is. Thank you for your moving reacion.
Same, that reaction was my introduction to Ren. It's nice to see that there is talent still putting out music!

This track gets me everytime and loved your reaction, so moving and beautiful, you can feel their souls touching! They do two other of my favourite tracks, " One Dance/Drunk in Love " Live on the streets of Brighton UK, as raw as it will ever get, and a moving song " How to be Me " . With Ren there are just so many stunning tracks, but a favourite is " I Shot the Sheriff/Road to Zion/Hiphop " with the band he is/was in The Big Push, again live in the streets of Brighton.
One Dance/Drunk In Love is my favourite Ren x Chinchilla performance. I have to watch or listen to it at least once a day.

In "Hi Ren" we just had a brief hearing of Ren's voice.........here we het the full Bardcore! "Take this one, wash it down and you'll be fine.......there's a pill for everything".......is what the doctors tell Ren & Chinchilla....sung with sarcasm and bitterness.....their feelings about the quality of treatment for their illnesses.......

as im typing i just took an overdose. great song to be the last tbh. been listening to ren for a while now but what i have doesn’t go, its just a cycle death is the only thing that breaks the cycle. sounds cold and dumb but it just is what it is

Curious if you think all of the chopping and cutting, removing ummms etc in post hurts your authenticity in terms of how it comes across.
I don’t think so, I can see how others would think that, but my message still comes across authentic in my opinion
@@vanessagomes Your decision of course, it’s just come up on a few other reactors. I guess it’s a case of balance. In my personal opinion, mid-sentence edits are the weirdest.
Stop mucking about with other artists. You're really good at Ren; you seem to get him better than many of your erstwhile Reactor colleagues and there are loads more for you to go at.
