Adam, I'm glad you were able to take a break from social media. People don't realize that creating content is more than a full time job and when we aren't creating, we are grinding, researching, responding to comments, etc... it can be draining at times. Look look rejuvenated. I'm sad to hear about the V12HT, but I'm glad you are okay.
Man everything aside, from watching your videos, I have got to comment on how far behind my city is in terms of bike lanes and routes. The routes in your city are a vast network of beautiful, clean, well maintained, and well connected pathways! You should be proud!
My city does have some pretty decent paths but there’s a long way to go still! Lots of paths aren’t connected and because insane car speed it’s super loud. I’m happy though that there’s the amount of paths and I always show some of the best ones ;)
Glad you’re ok. I hope these companies get more serious about this. It’s a lot to ask people to put thousands of dollars out on a piece of equipment that can fail even as they ride within spec. Going fast on an ebike or scooter, you never have to have in the back of your mind that the handlebars will detach and you’re just on your own. Nobody would accept that. If the equipment relies on the motherboard and software, that stuff better work 100% if that’s all between you and a trip down a ravine or into traffic.
It's really unfortunate that this happened, glad that you're relatively okay! InMotion was one of the most trusted brands and they've been plagued with issues recently. I was considering their "V13" but I don't know anymore!
I think that is unfortunately true, but seems like overall they have done a lot of correction attempts that seems to have been mostly successful? There seem to be a fair bit of V12 hs/ht owners out there and among the new batches I don't think the % of mosfet issue or the one Adam had is high, probably still lower than the repair rate of several gotway wheels. I'm also not sure about the V11 issues because that also seem to have a lot of owners, but they need to get on the right track going forward that's for sure.
You rock man! Hope you had a nice rest Humans have been given the desire to love one another it’s just natural, and we support you and your channel! Thanks for the content
If I had a channel, I'd be honored to have a subscriber like you! That positivity, and love is exactly what I'd want in my community, and what the internet needs more of!
Wish you the best brother. Deleting IG changed my life. Never had Tiktok and only used FB for marketplace and private groups but I felt the negative from IG, and my account was only for my tea business in Hawaii. The thing is, using IG for business in my industry does not work as well unless you are an online store. Take care man. Never be afraid to revert to a more simple life, even if for just a quick walk around the block.
Indeed, no matter how great a wheel is, crashes due to cutouts just damages trust, and no rider can ride a wheel they can't trust. Really hoping InMotion and Veteran turn the v12 and Abrams around. More quality wheel options strengthens and diversifies the EUC community. Welcome back!
I was so close to ordering the V12 HT a month ago, but i went with the Begode RS instead and that thing has been a beast ever since!! Glad i made that choice now!
@@curtflirt2 What will you buy? The problem with almost all Begode wheels are LG M50LT batteries, prone to fire. Some resellers say, these wheels comes also with Samsung batteries, but they don’t know which is which, so is a lottery. The only wheel, you can choose the battery is Master.
Thinking about bailing on the v12ht for an rs here as well. Ewheels has them with bad shells that you have to switch out yourself for 100 bucks off the price but I don't want to do all that
@@danmano478 Well I will certainly go with the wheels that people aren't complaining about and which you don't see bad videos about often or if at all such as the Shermans, the EXN, the Monster Pro and maybe the EX20s
Ouch, glad you´re okey Adam. I´ve been planning on getting that wheel since I feel it will be a great upgrade from my 16X (same size and weight, yet more power and speed), but man, I am not getting it before these issues have been fully sorted. Also, the irony of the wheel telling you 'careful' at 3:16 had me giggling a bit (knowing nobody got seriously injured ofc)^^
I have this exact problem on my V12 HS. I bought it with the new motherboard which I presume is the same as in the HT version. As soon as I turned it on it gave me an IMU error message. It eventually went away, but when I tried riding, it behaved the exact way you were describing, like it didn't balance straight away and the pedals could dip down a small bit before the pedals would catch up. It was also very easy to over power and I had two cut outs standing still or riding very slowly and carefully at around 5km/h.
Ehhh, it's sad Adam 😞 Hope that with the new one will be everything ok. You know, I have almost 6000km on V12 HS, no issue with pedal screws, I checked them three times, and it was ok.
My V12 High speed also makes this sound from time to time the wheel cut out (15-20Kmph) and the pedals where also lose after the crash for me too!!! i ended up tearing a tendon and wasted £1762 + customs, shiping and now hospital bills...!
Thanks Adam for making this video. I hope inmotion addresses the problems in next batch especially the weak pedals. Please remind them since the weak pedals is just one crash away from becoming unusable.
Good luck. I love the good tire, high torque, IM build quality.... I had a V10 and V10F and didn't want the V11 because of how hard it is to change the tire. I love the 16 x 3 tire size as well. Going to order one and hope for the best. Think the MCM5 V2 and V12 HT will be a great 2 wheels since I can only keep 2 wheels max for space.
I am having a similar problem with an Inmotion V12. When my V12 starts to wobble/oscillate it leans forward even if I am leaning back hard to slow down. The tire has a visible ridge that steers it into a wobble on hard acceleration and decceleration. It's a different tire than the one pictured in this video. I love the wheel except for the fact its thrown me several times. Thanks for the GREAT review.

Oh if it we were in the 90s we would not know there is an Adam out there with great expectations and a bright future but now that we do know we miss you Adam, the community you build although we wish you all the time off you need.
I have the INMOTION V12 HT it’s my first wheel and I love it I haven’t had any issues with it I actually cracked the rim and popped the tube. I took it to a skate park and sent it a bit too hard and didn’t have enough air in the wheel. I haven’t been riding very long but I’m learning super super fast. The Range on my V12 lasts the full advertised range, I live in Fort Wayne Indiana in the US and I road it all the way to Marion Indiana and back to Fort Wayne on a single charge. I’ve also ridden it to almost 35 mph and never got cutouts or anything. I have over 1500+ miles on it 500 of which I put on it myself, I bought it second hand. Honestly I love the wheel but I’m scared when something like this is gonna happen to me. I also don’t have the money or the connections to get a different wheel if that does happen. However once I get my parts I’ll fix it and continue to ride like I normally do.
Everytime I finally feel like I have found an EUC then I find videos like this and no longer want this V12 HT because if this happens when I am riding across pavement the road rash will just suck balls. The hunt continues.
Same here. I was about to order one bc it seem like the perfect one for me and now idk. They're in stock though and some of the others that I like aren't. So now I'm stuck looking for something again. 😔
It’s strange how the tables have turned with Begode now being the “safer” option this year rather than the kingsong and especially inmotion known for their better safety lol. Anyway I’m glad your back feeling better than ever and I’m sure we will all continue supporting the channel whether your posting or not so don’t worry about it : )
@JM Coulon It's a shame that Begode uses bad materials like the rear light or the fact that the battery protections are not enough in case of rain... the water seeps in and it's not great.
@@septicolore1634 Many may take the view that using ‘good or superior’ materials in a wheel which dumps you off without reason ain’t too swell either, just sayin’…
@@septicolore1634 yeah I agree the plastic housing for the battery’s and waterproofing really isn’t the greatest with the added flaw of the god awful rear break lights on both the master and ex20s. But I guess the battery casing being metal on the s20 really didn’t stop the battery from getting damaged and bursting into flames so we shall see how they all hold up in the long run
You all are losing your money, by buying these big, poor made, expensive wheels. That’s why they don’t improve the overall quality. Because you continue to buy them anyway, no matter what.
I'm curious about Inmotion explaining why they thought commuter mode would solve a self-balancing issue. My understanding is if the pedal sensitivity and split modes are at 100% (max hard setting), there's virtually no difference between commuter and off-road. At lower pedal sensitivity setting, small amounts of pedal tilt will be the same, but off-road will limit max tilt more than commuter mode.
Hello Adam, thank you for this video. Now I can be prepared just in case, I’m getting my v12 HT tomorrow. Let’s hope they solved those problems, I will also check the hanger screws and put extra loctite 😊👍🏻
I'm thinking I'm going to do my final degree project on this. EUC reliability. Bring all the techniques that make airplanes reliable into EUCs. What exactly is the source of the cutout? It is preferable to damage the battery rather than having a cutoff, and it's not going to catch on fire for being slightly over the nominal current for a couple seconds. That should be reserved for the emergency leanback. What if we had two separate motors, batteries and controllers, one for each side of the euc? Completely independent? The only problem I can imagine, aside from not being able to fit the 2 motors, is the controllers fighting each other.
the problem is that what makes airplanes safety is good risk assessment, system engineering, having backup systems and certification .etc. This is offcourse costly but also add weight and takes out performance. I think airplanes style engineering is not suited. They really are eliminating every problem to achieve high safety with low probability of accidents. You dont need that much on EUC. You would be fine with orders of magnitude higher probability of accident. You could look on automotive engineering but thats also too much. I still think that its possible to develop a good euc with little bit more systematic engineering but you need also more time for that and demand from customers
@@LaggerSVK However, an EUC is subjected to much more vibrations, and a failure leads to much worse consequences than on a car, so at least it should be safer than cars. At least to me, I need to feel like I can trust the EUC to be able to go fast on a single wheel. A car can be stopped by different passive mechanical means, a tire can blow up or the electronics fail and you'll probably be fine. I think the standard should be higher than cars, but probably lower than airplanes. Not by much. At least current and temperature monitoring for the battery, motor, and mosfets, and a higher safety margin are a must. Also imagine having a vapor chamber for cooling through a sealed aluminum chassis. You remove water and dust from getting into the electronics, while improving the thermal performance. That's what an airplane designer would do in my view. Also performing some startup checks with errors for values that are not nominal. Smart BMS at least to know whether a cell is bad, several temperature sensors along the battery, cell-level fuses instead of letting the pack catch on fire or blow a single fuse and facepalm... There are many points to improve in my opinion. I'm probably wrong on several ones though.
@@rubenayla euc is inherently unsafe. Meaning that even if you put these things in place there is a significant probability of falling because of overtorquing, sliding the wheel or riding into obstale. From automotive / aerospace perspective to make it alot safer add atleast one wheel. When talking about these things you mentioned it might increase safety but the real problems are elsewhere. I dont think moisture is the problem. Having automotive grade pack would increase weight, cost, decrease performance by a lot. Adding fuses is one thing of puzzle. For example there was a fuse in ks20 and as i know other 3 mechanisms and it failed. Failed because they probably havent tested it well and maybe even not enginnered it well
@@LaggerSVK You seem to have experience with EUCs. Which ones do you have? Why do you think it's not worth it to make them not randomly turn off while riding at 60km/h?
@@rubenayla inmotion v10. I am not saying its not worth it to make it safer. I am just saying that the main problems are elsewhere and what you are talking about are quite a details that their benefits would be overcome by the cost / weight. How many km until failure are acceptable (some risk is offcourse acceptable)? 10000? 100000? 1000000km? What I think would help is some type certification that would have to go through some thorough tests and one would be offcourse vibrations as you mentioned. Also each euc leaving factory should have some hard drive cycle test with a diagnostic data reported and checked for anomaly.
This is exactly what happened to me yesterday on an upgraded Inmotion V12HS. Same occasional glass cracking sound but this happened to me at 96% battery. Was using commuting mode with very modest split ride settings and around 50% pedal sensitivity. Happy to answer anyone's questions and want to avoid this happening to anyone else. In summary, the V12 even with the upgraded board is not safe and I highly recommend people not riding it. For speed I was going approximately 25 km an hour.
This is bad news, I almost ordered a v12 ht, but now I am full of doubts. It is unclear when this problem will be solved and if it will be solved at all. I thought Inmotion was the best quality and safest wheels, the bad news is that wheels with this problem are on sale.
Good to find this video in right moment, really! On this week Inmotion V12HT should come to my country to shop and I planned to buy it for myself (as first wheel).... but because of this video I'just now has bought Mten3 for myself ... and for my childrens for learning to ride :) I will see later, if something goes better/safer, and if so, then I will check V12HT or V13 probably. Thank to your discount code I keeped 57 euro :)
Based on your observations I wonder if there was a hardened piece of metal in the bearing causing this issue. Maybe inmotion will be able to tell us something. Also I have received my wheel today, rode it and have had no problems.
The glass like sounds must have been from the loose pedal hanger screws. I’m glad you took a break and you’re better now. I like the reviews you are doing. Thanks! 💚 💚💚
no fucking way lol cut out i might get hurt, maybe collar bone fracture is the worst you can get... but fire? you can die, destroy your skin or lungs and on top of that destroy your apartment
@@danmano478 Nah. I just understand risk management. A rare case fire will be minimized by my fireproof bag and careful charging/smoke detectors. A cut out can occur anytime without warning and easily Injure or kill the rider. The fire will at least give me a chance to escape while the cutoff just throws a person at random times/speeds.
@@matf4505 You are perfectly right, just I don’t like neither of the two options. The smoke is toxic. When you’re not home someone not so powerful from family can get hurt. Even if nothing happens, one will lose his expensive wheel. From my budget perspective, I can replace a wheel at least once 1.5 years. Of course I don’t like neither the other option. Inmotion has disappointed me drastically with V12. So for the moment I’m waiting until I can buy a proven wheel like RS or EXN with Samsung or Molicel batteries. Maybe you can in USA, but not here in Europe, yet.
This just happened to me tonight! The wheel accelerated violently out from under me going 20 mph at 87% battery. Got the wheel brand new last month! My butt is all messed up and so is the wheel! What was the solution for this malfunction?
I dont own a EUC yet, haven't ridden the V12 but my experience from other EV's is that it sounds like a combo effect, the hall sensors is having some issue and the battery is close to it max watt output at the voltage, so the hall sensor is reading wrong or outputting wrong and then when it needs to correct it, it needs short periods of high current @ high voltage and the battery most of the time can supply it, but those times battery unsupplies Amps, it fails and you eat shit instead.
@@frisky-neko yes there was one on Amazon reviews, but there's very little info about it. We have no idea what actually happened, apart from buyers limited angry (rightfully, perhaps) words
Really seems like inmotion needs to get their QA in check. Some people have perfectly working wheels, some people have lemons.. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. I know many people blamed weak mosfets for the first round of issues on HS, but I am skeptical that is the underlying cause.. It seems they just cant get the QA in check in general. Even the new v11's which has been out for quite a while are coming in with issues. Bummer.. I love my v12HS. I guess its a coin flip on weather you get a good one or not.
Dang... wanted to buy a V12 as my first EUC after eliminating the Begode T4 because of the build quality issues/motor failing, but it seems they ALL have some issues
About pedal hangers, did you apply blue loctite? (Not red I hope) The amount of shocks to the hanger is massive and blue loctite would likely be a decent strength. Red too soft and green allmost impossible to dismantle. Not a lot needed, important to get it into the threaded hole though and tighten enough. Makr sure that the loctite is on the tip of the screw as the shaft close to the head only goes through the free hole of the hanger. Or put it in the hole to be sure.
This could be a combination of issues that caused this. One the balancing algorithm could be overcompensating due to some gravel slippage at that speed and tyre type and combined with the loose pedal your foot could've been off a little angle slightly that the wheel reacted the way it did.
Uhhh... Had lots if things goin on myself so some how didnt even realise a break... but glad you are back ;-) yeah Inmotion seems to have a big issue in their V12 wheels.. strange for such a big company known for well made products... but at least you didnt hurt yourself too much... all the best... cool video again as always... und vl auf bald... liebe gruuzzze Hannes
Any updates on this? I just ordered a new HT model from ewheels. I'm hoping this isn't a more common experience although I did have the same exact behavior with my RS19 HT before I got rid of it. It's like it would dump the pedals backwards and accelerate away from me.
Have you had any problems with your HT model? I just got mine August 7, 2022 from Ewheels after countless reviews and a lot of comparison research. I somehow missed the videos regarding the cutouts...damn!
Oh man this is not good. I was planning to trade in the Sherman for the V12HT as its got good range, speed and build quality but not the massive range. A bit of a ligher package. I will sit back a bit on this one as till they get this sorted out. My bones dont heal that quick anymore. Welcome back after the break too. I can just think how you can get snowed under. Even with my small channel it becomes almost a second job. Good luck and keep on riding and bringing out good solid feedback.
Is it possible that this is happening to me on the V12? I'm only on day 8 or 9 of having an EUC, but I had a 1 when and am used to how the gyroscope motor feels. It keeps tilting forward and backwards by itself suddenly by up to 10 degrees. About 2 days ago. I was gently braking (at just about 20mph) and it let me fall backwards after a bit! I thought I might have lost balance in the chaos, but it did feel funny just before.
Hey Adam, you can put double visor on predator helmet without any mods, the screws are long enough to hold two visors, not a perfect fit but works good
@@ShykeProdz unless they changed the screw length on new iteration helmets then yes(bought mine a year ago, single piece screw), otherwise you can find right sized bolt and will still work (also tried)
I have this on preorder from April. This will be my first wheel and now I'm worried about it. Any suggestions on what you'd do in my position? I dont think anyone but reviewers have gotten a v12ht yet so no clue whether or not this is an isolated incident.
I also have it on preorder for end june and I was worried too after watching the video but manufacture default can happen to any wheel. If that wheel was really bad I think we all would have hear it a long time ago anyway good luck 👍 with your future wheel.
Hola from the Canaries. I have a v12 -don't know if HT or not- since February. I use it to go to work and back and a bit more. I limited the speed to 35 Kms/h because legal limit here is even less, 25 Kms/h. Anyway, too much wheel for this little city, Las Palmas. I didn't have nay problem apart from my leg weakness. I have to decelerate very often because the wheel "weagles" from one leg to the other hitting them!!! Hope it ll never cutout 🤦🏻♂️
I’m sorry to hear about your crash, wishing you a full and quick recovery! Everyone needs a break once in awhile, your supporters will be here waiting for you whenever you’re ready to come back, no rush at all 😇 It’s unfortunate to hear about the faulty parts of the HT wheel.. do you think that I’m this is a problem that can affect all inmotion v12 wheels or just the HT wheel?
after 3 week I bought 12HT anyway :) , but I do not understand, how it is possible to play music from Iphone on EUC speakers... If I put playing music on VLC on iphone, it does not play on EUC. If I use standard IP player, .. also no sound on EUC. So how is correct to connect (step-by-step) telephone to EUC to play music?
I had this bugg on my v12 HT this friday im 99% sure. Batch from 2023-03, ive had it for two months got it new 3200 km on it so far. I was riding seated 45 kmh when all of a sudden i was like thrown backwards, and i actually recall hearing a metallic sound just as you describe.. and when i went to pick up the wheel it was on and balancing again no problem..... im sitting home to let my foot recover. I have contacted inmotion thru the app 2 days ago but havnt been able to catch up with them due to the time difference. I don't want to ride this wheel anymore.. what should i do?
on my v12 HS with the newly replaced board, fully charged, I got "overload pls dismount "voice message, pedals tilted back and I got stranded. I rode on a slight downhill slope for a minute first and then this happened on flat. Same screws as in the video were also loose in my unit after riding 500 km
Random cutout is my biggest fear on euc. It happened to me on my v11 while accelerating at medium speed (maybe 18mph). They sent me a new board and promised this one would be ok.
@@joeyfaze2088 i had a 2nd batch v11. I know inmotion has a high failure rate in 2021 compared with other companies. my new board hasn’t failed but I don’t trust it. I talked to one of their tech people to flash my firmware, I asked him if the new board is improved and he said yes. He said don’t worry. Lol. He also said be aware of braking too hard. Which can push the board more than accelerating. I’ve decided to take it easy on my v11 (casual cruising) and get a master for aggressive acceleration and braking. I'm new so I Dont know much. But I do know that inmotion has a good reputation. I wonder if something changed.. Like new set of developers.. Designers or something
Since Inmotion wheels are not safe anymore (it started from V11), what can I use as replacement of V11 or V12 with the same safety on cutout area (I don't want ride with a headphones like a guard in supermarket)?
My buddy has already 7000 km on his v12 ht. He has zero issues and he drives the snot out of it and has crashed it multiple times very reliable and robust. I just ordered one after writing his a few times Amazing wheel.. so many setup options you can refine it to how you like it.

@@danmano478 I was worried being a heavier guy it might not do so well. I also know if I have the ability to ride fast I will and I'll probably crash. At the price they sell them, should come with safer batteries and BMSs. Nice to know the gorilla glue spray tip. I assume you put the duct tape inside the shell on the glue spray layer, to keep the outside clean. I want a wheel for deliveries, so not possible to choose always the weather. Dear Adam, Thanks for your videos I very like it! I thinks I know what is your problem on your V12 ! I change my tire on my v12 hs for a kenda with the similar drawing of your tire. I ear the same nose and the same sensation of yours like little blocking on the wheels. The problems is the tire he take all the little gravel and block the wheel because there is no many space between the tire and the plastic shell of the wheel. when the gravel are to big he stay between two stud on the middle. After 2500km with the CST 1488 I never have a problem I put a kenda 3.00x12 and I do 3 cut off in 300 km and the weel stay on. I put a CST now and everything are OK. I'm just sad because the kenda are so comfortable and grip but to dangerous. The v12 need a tire with full rubber on the mibble.
This makes sense. Inmotion did a disassembly and showed the heatsink is part of the shell of the wheel. Gravels and rocks hitting that part can make the glass sound.
@@mr_wrongway Yes!! PLEEEEASE keep us posted on the V12 coutouts. I was leaning towards the V12HT after much research and I finally got one in August '22 based on your initial reviews and how excited you were with this wheel. Sadly, I somehow missed the videos regarding V12 cutouts,😮💨 I hope you've recovered nicely. Love your work👍👍
Eweels are starting to send out the v12ht wheels on Monday. I opted to wait a week or two to see how the production models behave. Inmotion needs to figure out what caused this to happen twice. I'm not about to shell out 2500 bucks to end up with something I have to wait 8 months for a possible fix. As much as I want this wheel If this happens to anyone else in the next few weeks I'm out.
Man, now I like how you’re thinking. You sound like a real customer. These companies have to get their shit together and deliver quality, if they want our money. In other posts you sounded like defending them, and I thought you’re some kind of PR guy. Sorry. I had a V5f from Inmotion, which i was pleased with, but that doesn’t make me a fan. I’m still a customer.
U guys make a lot of videos on uni's can u please do a top 5 best
Man everything aside, from watching your videos, I have got to comment on how far behind my city is in terms of bike lanes and routes. The routes in your city are a vast network of beautiful, clean, well maintained, and well connected pathways! You should be proud!
My city does have some pretty decent paths but there’s a long way to go still! Lots of paths aren’t connected and because insane car speed it’s super loud. I’m happy though that there’s the amount of paths and I always show some of the best ones ;)
Where I live in the states there are hardly any bike lanes
8:16 THIS is the behavior us PEV riders need to adopt!!! Great job setting an example.
Don't get it!
"V13" doesn't even exist yet
Thanks, recovering quickly but indeed it sucks a lot :/
I think that is unfortunately true, but seems like overall they have done a lot of correction attempts that seems to have been mostly successful? There seem to be a fair bit of V12 hs/ht owners out there and among the new batches I don't think the % of mosfet issue or the one Adam had is high, probably still lower than the repair rate of several gotway wheels. I'm also not sure about the V11 issues because that also seem to have a lot of owners, but they need to get on the right track going forward that's for sure.
So the inmotion euc like v11 and v12 aren't reliable as well?
You rock man! Hope you had a nice rest

Me too, had the money and everything and then luckily in time, I saw his video like 2 days before I was ready to pull the trigger on it
@@curtflirt2 What will you buy? The problem with almost all Begode wheels are LG M50LT batteries, prone to fire. Some resellers say, these wheels comes also with Samsung batteries, but they don’t know which is which, so is a lottery. The only wheel, you can choose the battery is Master.
Thinking about bailing on the v12ht for an rs here as well. Ewheels has them with bad shells that you have to switch out yourself for 100 bucks off the price but I don't want to do all that

Thanks! I still think they’ll sort it out but it’s a bummer for sure. For the “careful” moment I wondered why I didn’t snap then 😂 truly an irony
Not looking good for this batch only being out there for a few weeks so far
Thx for sharing mate..
V11 also had a firmware error at one point. Tail bone protection trousers from gform might be a good idea...
You’re welcome. That’s right, I might get some. They’re just a pain in the ass (pun intended) to wear
I'm debating if I should get that or just become more of a fatass instead for protection, im 50-50 at the moment.
@@heymelon Pretty sure you lost the debate, buddy. 😂
Oh my word what a horrible experience ;( I’m so sorry to hear! So it’s not an isolated case
I was seriously considering this wheel, but I will wait.
Thanks Adam for making this video. I hope inmotion addresses the problems in next batch especially the weak pedals. Please remind them since the weak pedals is just one crash away from becoming unusable.
Riding them beeps brother!! Brave!! Thanks 🙏
Listen, no wheel has perfect quality control. Sometimes you get a lemon, most of the time you’re fine. I’m definitely going to enjoy my incoming V12.
Look out dan Mano is going to start acusing you of "working for inmotion" 😆😆
im looking for my first euc, and I was thinking this v12 HT.
@@AuRowe I have V12 HS and the MCM5 V2. Both are awesome for what they're meant to do. The mcm5 has a very annoying active fan, though.

I'm about ready to just get an rs at this point, ill take weak shells over catastrophic problems
Anyway I’m glad your back feeling better than ever and I’m sure we will all continue supporting the channel whether your posting or not so don’t worry about it : )
@JM Coulon
It's a shame that Begode uses bad materials like the rear light or the fact that the battery protections are not enough in case of rain... the water seeps in and it's not great.
It's been a week already? Glad you're back!
Glad you are OK!
For speed I was going approximately 25 km an hour.
you were going like 15mph and it cut out? wow. that's insane... did you walk out or hit the pavement?
I ride my V12HS on 60 all the time, no issues.
This is bad news, I almost ordered a v12 ht, but now I am full of doubts.
It is unclear when this problem will be solved and if it will be solved at all.
I thought Inmotion was the best quality and safest wheels, the bad news is that wheels with this problem are on sale.
I have bad news for Inmotion too: I will not buy it. (2500€ in my pocket)
Yeeeeeey, your are back!
Whoop whoop! You too!
13:41 Why is it beeping? What was the speed?
The glass like sounds must have been from the loose pedal hanger screws. I’m glad you took a break and you’re better now. I like the reviews you are doing. Thanks! 💚 💚💚
Thats the sounds of rocks getting thrown up into the heat sink that get stuck in the tire.
I had some issues with my V10F. But they didn't start until I put like 3000 miles on it.

Being somewhere that I had no phone reception for a few weeks was soooo refreshing. The break can be great
Glad I went with the RS HT. I'll take an EUC fire over cut outs anyday.
no fucking way lol
cut out i might get hurt, maybe collar bone fracture is the worst you can get... but fire? you can die, destroy your skin or lungs and on top of that destroy your apartment
Your house is probably near the fire station.

Have you checked if all other bolts are tight?

Glad you’re ok!
Thanks :)
Looks like InMotion and Gotway are switching places!
no inmotion fires yet

Welcome back man !
About pedal hangers, did you apply blue loctite? (Not red I hope)
The amount of shocks to the hanger is massive and blue loctite would likely be a decent strength.
Good to know. Tighten screws after every few rides.

He said don’t worry. Lol.
He also said be aware of braking too hard. Which can push the board more than accelerating.
I’ve decided to take it easy on my v11 (casual cruising) and get a master for aggressive acceleration and braking.
I believe innotion has improved their latest boards.
You’re probably fine with a new v11. But I havent heard anything about their latest failure rates.
@@mr_wrongway full gear protected me, thanks for asking.
I had about 500 miles when it cut out.
My dead board had scorching and some blown components under the capacitors.
The mosfets looked fine though.
Wouldn't a v11 be a downgrade at this point ? V12 ht sounds like a better choice aside from all these problems.
Hey, welcome back Bro! Everyone else has a vacation, why shouldn't you deserve one as well? I look forward to your next videos. Cheers from down under...
All of my wheels are BeGotOde and Veteran (MCM5v2, Nikola plus, Sherman)... people whine about BeGotway, but I am sorry, I don't trust the other brands... KS and inmotion have too many 'Nanny features/throttling/Bs' for my liking... others can do what they want, but I will stick with my GotOdeBegWays... like, better the devil you know (so to speak) haha
Was just looking up helmet … it’s certified bicycles and skateboards … I guess at slower speeds it’ll work well … I’m normally 25 to 45 on scooter … so not sure if it’s appropriate… only 12 mph on V5f though
Damn, and I just received my V12 HT from EWheels today!! I guess all I can do now is hope for the best. 🥴
My buddy has already 7000 km on his v12 ht. He has zero issues and he drives the snot out of it and has crashed it multiple times very reliable and robust. I just ordered one after writing his a few times Amazing wheel.. so many setup options you can refine it to how you like it.
The Begode hero will be a great wheel for you to test!
It’s arriving today 😁😁😁
How you doing man?
Doing well thanks!
@@mr_wrongway Great! Hope everything remains on the up and up.
Hi bro I do have a question about billet delivery
Fun Fact, right after this video i was redirected to the V12 unboxing, and it starts like this : "Currently the best wheel on the market !" ................lol
I hope you'll recover fully and quickly from your fall, take care !
One guy with issues doesn't make it bad.
This makes me so happy I went with the exn ht instead of the V12 ht last march
Why not EXN hs?
@@danmano478 I was worried being a heavier guy it might not do so well. I also know if I have the ability to ride fast I will and I'll probably crash. This was my first high performance wheel and I like to ride offroad so I figured the torque would be better for me. I did figure out a lot of new ways to crash on the HT model. It's still a load of fun but I need new side covers and a new rim. So next year I might get new covers and the HS motor /rim combo along with the street tire.
Right now I look at it as a beginner ExN so I can work my way up to the HS lol
@@jamesordwayultralightpilot Do you ride in the rain? Does the shell withstand a crash on the street? Too bad, Begode doesn’t put inside Samsung batteries for safety. I would buy one.
@@danmano478 begode doesn't but Ewheels did. The shell kept all the water out I never ride in the rain tho it's not recommended. But the ground was very wet when I first got it and unfortunately my first fall was on pavement going about 20mph around a corner after I got the speed wobbles trying to slow it down. That's when the outer shell started cracking.
I took it apart and put gorilla glue spray on the inside and stuck really strong duct tape to it to give it strength.
I feel like no wheel is indestructible and Begode is easiest to work on. I've always been a hands on guy so working with lithium batteries is like everyday thing for me. I still fall in love with it everytime I go out. :-)
@@jamesordwayultralightpilot No ewheels for me, I’m from Europe. Begode could make them more waterproof (no need for certification, just do it - to keep the price down), like Nikola. As for batteries, good for you, you know to work with them. I wouldn’t dare to open a pack, check each cell, change the faulty ones, and put them back together. At the price they sell them, should come with safer batteries and BMSs.
Nice to know the gorilla glue spray tip. I assume you put the duct tape inside the shell on the glue spray layer, to keep the outside clean. I want a wheel for deliveries, so not possible to choose always the weather. V12 would be good, if not all those problems, even with the new HT model. I’m waiting for Samsung batteries in other Begode wheels, not just Master. But, I don’t know, they are cheap (mentality/quality - not price).
Yes, being easy to work on is good, if just they make some tougher shells. I like X-Men, but unfortunately I need a handle, plus the same shitty LGs.
I was prepared to buy V12 hs, then ht, and now I’m stuck.
Hi my v12 just cut out how I gonna do can you tell me about it so I need to fixed it asap I have no idea I never got cut out before but this time my friend I didn’t my v12 cut out what’s I have to do
😮💨😮💨
Where have you been...did you broke up?...does monocat whent to Eeves in Canada?
I’ve been on offline vacation! No, we’re together :) last question maybe Monocat will be able to answer :)
@@mr_wrongway Thank you for fast answer...Glad you're ok.
Come to Vancouver too! It’s expensive and it snows but hey!
Also everybody needs to keep in mind that these are literally kids in and out of high school running these EUC companies. My friend that used to sell EUCs and is chinese went and visited these companies in his visit back to china. Don't take their word on something you experienced. Demand to have components replaced or just return it! Its your hard earned money, and your safety!
That's why you buy from a reputable seller that will handle all of that for you. If you're dealing with the Chinese then you bought from the wrong seller.
@@noelleonard2498 Your not quite comprehending my point here. I understand everything you said. With knowing that, the amount of money these cost, you should expect some amount of reliability.
@@todd6888 You are exactly right. Anyone, claiming the opposite, supports the interests of the resellers or Chinese companies, for various interested reasons.
sorry to hear you had a crash! Getting more worried by the moment! Mine should be about month away. A little afraid now. Not sure what to do or if I should swap for another model. Don't even know what I would get instead I spent so much time deciding on the V12 ht!
I hope your arrives in tact! For now I feel just mine has been a lemon, I hope 🤞 all other customers wheels will be ok
Same boat here, ewheels is letting me wait a few weeks to see how the production models behave.
what you have explained "the wheel forgot to balance for a moment", sounds like an issue with the driver chip or mosfet? like if a phase skipped a signal. But don't take me seriously, i don't understand electric motors well enough
i wish i could afford something better than my tiny pos. love euc's and scooters. I had to get the euc tho I couldnt afford both. I love your channel
Did the Split mode was on or off during this lose balance? Mine v12ht 200km no problems. But I'm not using split mode.
Split ride modes was off
@@mr_wrongway Then drive board problems. I had only 1 issue passing continuous bumbs on asphalt on 40kmh. Then wheel start jumps from one bumb to another it start loosing horisont and pedals gouse forward and backward. Split mode 100proc. Then I made split off pass same, no problems, after that never use split, and any another assists like spin detection, and etc. Just fancier mode.
Hi Adam, on the basis of your experience what do you think is the safest euc?
Nikola plus
Solder joint broken on the mainboard?
Can I please ask you, what is the wheel you are riding in this video? And what wheel do you prefer, i am doing my research for my first euc, i want spmething i can grow with and one that wont fail on me, could you please help me choose?😇🤞🏻
Its less than a 15 min video, I know it's a wild idea but you could actually just watch it. That would answer most of those questions
so i’m relatively new to this hobby
i started on the onewheel pint then the xr then the ks14d and now the ks16x and on my 16x once every 2-5 rides there is that weird knocking noise where i’m riding along at 15-40kph and then a hear a knock (almost like the wheel cutting out) and the pedals dip like 2 degrees and go back to normal so i never thought it was an issue so i’m confused if that is a sign that something is wrong and that it will cut out soon? (i have 1000+ kilometers and have not had a cutoff)
It could potentially be a bad bearing.
@@mitchhaley5 I thought that was more of a consistent noise like just a weird noice whenever you rode Not just one sudden noise every couple of rides
Have you looked at your board?
Check your pedal hangers
@@darkstar4494 no i have not but what would i be looking for?
Adam, what wheels you have now in private collection? Sherman and v11?
Currently Sherman, V11 and KS14D. Still deciding what to swap my Abrams for
Dear Adam,
Thanks for your videos I very like it!
Let me take a wild guess, the motherboard wasn't screwed all the way in just like your pedals, this is why your balancing is randomly incorrect.
Might be the case. I’ll make an update once I know more
@@mr_wrongway Yes!! Love your work👍👍
Suggestion: a video about aero positions for an euc and the effect on wh/km and ride stability
Cool idea! Got you :)
@@danmano478 dude, I'm guessing the only euc you've ever seen was on RUclips videos.
ALERT! Chinese minion with anglo-saxon name spotted: “noel leonard”.
I also had a vibration on 45 kmph on Inmotion V11 a year ago and then mosfets died and it turned off
