I like the whole situation with the zip line escape. Rita plans to abandon Roddy, he jumps grabs her belt, the belt rips, he grabs her pants and pulls her pants down, exposing her underwear. Even with her not having any hands available so she couldn’t really pull her pants up even if she wanted to.

Poor Roddy. Rita was so mean to him throughout the first half of this movie, that I can’t help, but think she deserved to have her Ruby shattered. 💎
And her belt ripping, having her pants fall and boat sinking. Also being slapped and kicked ass by Le Frog.
can't be helped because you think about it, Roddy accidentally exposed Rita when she was hiding. And as for the Ruby it doesn't matter cuz it was a fake anyway.

When he was looking it and turning it, he was doing a light test. As Real rubies glow with a deep, vivid, almost "stoplight" red. Fake gems are often dull: they are "light, but not bright." So Roddy was checking if the color was stoplight red in the light.

I know the reason why this movie had to be computer animated instead of stop motion is because of so much water being involved, but CGI and claymation are honestly both 3D animation, just like how drawings and paintings are both 2D animation, and also just like when you’re doing regular 2D or 3D art like drawing, painting, and sculpting.
