Loving this series on summer dormancy. It really helps give a realistic perspective for all our beautiful natives that aren't just showcased in their gorgeous prime during spring.
    Thanks Scott!

Great video, I love that you showed both semi dormant and dormant forms and addressed the “can I push it” question! One suggestion is to grab a close up- on a lot of these videos you tend to grab a leaf or a stem to point out nodes, leaf break, dormant or deciduous leaves and it’d be great to be able to cut those in so you can show the audience up close what that looks like. It’ll also help you in editing since you can cut to a different take or fit in a different line read (though honestly Scott’s authenticity and enthusiasm for native plants total fits the jump-cut style of editing as well)! Regardless, great content, I watch all these avidly and with great enjoyment.

Fantastic videos! Thank you for making these. I'm a new homeowner in SoCal and these are helping me so much with planning. Would love to know what pollinators this plant supports. I'll check if that info is on your website.
