You might be able to find those little closures on the back of picture frames. They’re often used to hold the back of the picture frame in the outer frame, if that makes sense. I probably have a dozen or so old frames packed away in storage. Thanks for sharing another cute project.😊💕📚
Oh my goodness Maggie…these are incredible! I haven’t even finished watching the entire video but I am so blown away with your creativity!! Just had to pop on and say …WOW!
Maggie you did it again. I'm glad you made the mistake on card size because I think we all would have had it happen. I have to try to look for something that looks like a hinge. I'm making a journal for my daughter and I think I'll put my granddaughters pictures inside
Hi Suzy. It’s definitely better that I figure out the mistakes before you do. Your idea of adding your granddaughters pictures inside the cards is fabulous! That’s going to look amazing!
Hi Janice, unfortunately I don’t have any listings in my shop at the moment. That’s why nothing will come up, but I do plan on adding mystery goodie bags and maybe another glue bottle collection soon. Thanks for watching
They look lovely. I did a lot of different types of altered playing cards but didn't think of doing it this way yet. For the closures you can also use an altered can lock, like from colacans and so. Tfs ❤
My dear I have not met one of your projects that I haven’t loved! I just put your videos on and let them play while I craft! You are so talented and inspiring!
I absolutely love these! I have so many Tim Holtz paper dolls. This is a great idea to use them up. I was going to run out and get hinges but thought i could use bits of cloth and reinforce cardstock and glue together, then put the brads thru that. This would keep costs down too. I can't wait to try this!
Your ideas are incredible - I accidentally discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago when I was searching for the ID cards and I am so pleased I did - you aren’t just duplicating other ideas, your stuff is original and so fun to make and doesn’t involve expensive products - I really appreciate that what you do is doable and I always end up satisfied with what I make - thanks for being generous with your ideas - take care - oh and this will be my weekend project 👍🏻
Hi Cyndi, welcome to my channel. I appreciate your kind words. It means so much to me that you’re liking my content and that I explain clearly enough for others to follow along. I would love to see your version of this project. It’s always so fun to see other peoples take on what I’ve made. Thanks so much for watching
I can't tell you how much I love this idea! I make small shadow boxes out of match boxes,I'm so excited to make some of these. LoveTim Holtz's line. Thank you
Oh wow! I love these! They are super adorable. Girl, you keep this up and I anticipate you will be a Maker for Tim Holtz soon. Great job and wonderful project.
So darned CUTE - and a fun way to use up those playing cards and all that washi I have stashed away, not to mention the Tim Holtz "people" too! You are VERY creative - love these. TFS!
If I can I would add it to everything. I love the look of any type of hardware on my projects, so you’ll be seeing a lot more of that. Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching Wendy
Hi Jeanne. Using fabric for the hinge is genius. I love when others come up with the best ideas to suite their stash. It’s amazing. Thanks for watching
OMG Maggie, this is so clever! This is one of my favorites that you have made! Possibilities are endless - could use as a secret journaling spot. It’s a tough call, but I think the one with the couple sitting inside is my favorite. 😊❤ Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤
Really?! That’s awesome. I’m so glad this topped your list. Definitely can be customized to match any project. I had another say she was going to add pictures of her granddaughter to a journal she’s making for her daughter. Loved that idea too.
Cute! If been trying to come up with ideas to make sort of a business card with playing cards for my vintage booth and now I got a few ideas to run with! 😊

I love this. Super creative! Watching and I’m not fully to the end of the video, wondering about sanding the card first and then if one of the sides on the card could be used uncut for the “hinge”. Ann
Maggie, you have such good vision for how things are going to look! They all look terrific! I have to admit that I was willing you(strongly) to not decorate the porcini card. I thought it would look better as is, but, alas, you didnt hear me. Thank goodness, cause it turned out to be my favorite. I liked it better when you were done. I hope i can do half as well when i try it. TFS 😊
Hi Kimberly, you are so sweet. I’m so glad that I was able to do that card justice. I really like the way that one came out too. I love working with mushrooms in my projects so I had to incorporate that card in. Thanks so much for watching.

Hi PJ, thanks but I have since added the correct name in the description of the video right after I posted it. I appreciate your help though. Thanks so much for watching

Thanks Laurie. I’m sure you gave others ideas on how to get them. I have plenty for now. Thanks for watching

I love your little idea with the playing cards but I have a suggestion I think you should put the washi tape on before you add the little closures
Hi Peggy, I believe I mentioned that. Lol
If not, I was definitely thinking it. :)
I really should have.
Thanks for watching Peggy
I love it when crafters think outside the box. Well done
Can you be more specific about the clasp that closes the door please? I’ve clicked on your link, searched Temu and run a google search with every description of it I can think of and nothing comes up. Thank you. I appreciate your reply.
The paper hinges are in the Temu link. ;)
I’m so sorry. I actually bought them from the Craftelier.com website. They are called frame turn buttons. I apologize for the confusion. Unfortunately they don’t have a link to share
I love these. Where can I find the little metal pieces you put inside? They kind of look like keyholes
