@@TypeRwagon the longer cable is going to go through the fire wall to the shutoff valve on the coolant hose that goes to your heater core and the smaller cable will go to the blend door the houses your heater core that’s behind the dash but you can easily get to it from under your dash just behind the radio and climate control
If you’re careful enough you won’t have any problems. If you don’t know your own strength then I wouldn’t recommend doing it the way I did it. Just a little persuasion and a careful hand will do the trick.
I did this extremely carefully and patiently this way and yes it damages the plastic brackets and makes it impossible for the cables to ever stay in place again, had to order a new climate control with cables attached.
Thank you for this. Great help to me. Where did you find the ac panel unit? I've been searching for years literally and can't find one
Thank you !
No problem at all! Hope this helps!
@@CaddyRich Yes it is ;)
Just bend out the upper tabs where the screws go in and pull it straight out
We’re do you connect the cables too tho
On the climate control? Or under the hood and under the dash? Witch one you asking about?
@@CaddyRich on the whole climate control I just bought one because I was missing it on my wagovan it has all of them but I do not no we’re they go

civic and crx are not the same, the civic has 4 cables, the crx only has 2.
On how to remove the climate control civic and CRX are the same. You are correct CRX has two cables but civic has three cables.
NOOOOO! Don't pull the cables off on that end!! Way too risky!
