Thank you for posting! I was going crazy trying to put it together; all I needed was to watch your video and was able to set up in a few minutes. Thank you so much!! Blessings
Great video, I bought one of these a year or so ago and never knew how to set up the vacuum/mulcher. It's pretty underwhelming as a leaf blower, it seems to struggle blowing leaves ever 3 feet away. However, I set this up today after googling how to do it, I watched your video and you explained it very clearly. Thanks!
THANK YOU for the INFORMATIVE Video of how to INSTALL the mulcher!! Watched several other videos and no one explained that I had to take OFF the bottom piece first. THANK YOU THANK YOU!! Now out to try to mulch leaves. It's FALL!!
Thank you for making this!!! I could not figure out how to attach the vacuum to the machine!! You made it so easy, wish the instructions that came with it were that clear! 😄
Thanks Marlo!!! I was just telling my hubs that those of you kind enough to take their time to show those of us who might me paper direction challenged, how to assemble and work equipment. I was losing my sh!t for a moment because I couldn’t figure out how to turn the mulcher on and B&D didn’t have any real explanation. Cheers!
Wow! I’m impressed with the detailed video demonstration! Thank you so much. I’m new to doing this myself and just purchased this today. I got it figured out but came here to find others using it and the outcome. Maybe should of done first then buy the product 🤣 lol. Either way I thank you very much, Sir for well done video! 🙏🏻
Nice. I just picked up this model at an auction but it is missing the bag. I was disappointed because I thought I would be using the vacuum/mulching all the time. However after watching this it's pretty obvious I'll get the job done much quicker if I use it primarily as a leaf blower. Thanks.
Thank you. I just got this thing and the instructions were a little confusing. My question is how do you get that first tube together, the one you said you can no longer get apart again. I'm a 68 years old, recently widowed woman who is trying to do as much as I can independently. But I can't force those 2 tubes together though they are properly aligned. Do I need to get a guy to help or is there a trick to doing it myself. Great video!
I just put my unit together, plugged it into the extension cord, turned the knob and it wouldn't come on. Any suggestions? Is there some sort of power switch that may be stuck or needs to be depressed?
Left out critically important point. Fan cover release button is covered and requires screwdriver to get past cover. Written instructions make no mention!
I'm cleaning out a window well. Can you leave both tubes on and just suck the leafs out and with the big tube and blow them out on the lawn with the small tube, or doesn't it have suction?
My bottom cover was able to hang down while the blower attachment was on. Seemed like it was working out. Might be a solution for people weary of losing peices.
i wanted to see how small the leaves after it was vacuumed into the bag. are they small enough to be composted or throw into my compost pile? Anyone knows??
I was looking for a lightweight blower for my deck. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxgioZQl3J5wPGAeDINzbieKbT5qomSEx3 There are some huge trees around my house and the leaves and pods drop all over my deck. Having to move furniture around to sweep has become too big a chore. This blower was the answer. It is light enough for this 70yr old lady and powerful enough to blow all the tree droppings off my rather large deck. Thank you B&D. Be aware the cord is not included. I use a 3 prong outdoor cord 25' cord for my 12' x 20' deck. The cord retainer works very well, but don't try to pass the plug through it. That is NOT how it works. You just have to loop the cord and it works great. One of my best purchases. Very happy.
Save your money. It is difficult to get the fan guard off in order to assemble the mulcher - use a screwdriver where it says "Press". The unit has many problems besides that. The blower works fine as long as you don't run it too long. The mulcher doesn't work at all. I have tried it on various items, tree leaves, lawn cuttings, bush trimmings and it picks up nothing. Within 15 minutes the unit shuts down and it can take up to 30 minutes to cool off and restart. The mulcher is what I bought it for and it looks like I wasted my money. Don't waste yours.
Better have a heated garage to store it, i know that tubing will almost inevitably crack and leak after being subjected to freezing and high heat plus your flexing it CONSTANTLY and the blower catch bag is ridiculous, no zipper, you fold the opening and clip it, so Moe, Larry and Curly did that design, other than that it worked perfectly, yep, i bought one, not too sure if i would buy this one again
Good show , looking at your yard you would be better off chopping the few leaves you have with a lawnmower and throwing some seed down to get the grass growing.
You missed a step when opening the bottom, you need to unlock it before the switch will work. I returned mine this cheap crap doesnt have the power to mulch lots of leaves.
Does anyone know if it’s possible to dissemble the 2 black tubes? (The ones he can’t take apart ?) If so, how ?? In the manual they are labeled numbers 6 & 7? Thanks ! :)
Soo the vacuum is not as strong as I thought it would be, my blower won’t even turn over, got about 5 minutes of work done blowing leaves, and that was It
2 of these Black & Decker units failed on me after only one season. Never started again. The third unit lasted 2 seasons only. When you’re spending around $75 per unit & with with the Blacker & Decker name, you should be able to expect more longevity. For myself & my pocketbook I’ll never buy another B & D - just my experience - maybe yours will be better.
Thanks for the demo. Saved me a lot of time trying to go through that miniature size manual filled confusion! Great job!
Bill?
Thank you for posting! I was going crazy trying to put it together; all I needed was to watch your video and was able to set up in a few minutes. Thank you so much!! Blessings
You & me 😂

I have a Toro, but your video explained and showed me just what I needed to find out how to put it together. Thanks.
THANK YOU for the INFORMATIVE Video of how to INSTALL the mulcher!! Watched several other videos and no one explained that I had to take OFF the bottom piece first. THANK YOU THANK YOU!! Now out to try to mulch leaves. It's FALL!!
No problemo :-)...Merry Xmas!!
Marlon!! You are a Blessing!! I have been fighting with this dang thing for 2 weeks trying to put that vacuum part on. God Bless you Sir.
Thank you for the review! I love that you actually demoed it instead of just talking about like other channels I saw.
Thank you for making this!!! I could not figure out how to attach the vacuum to the machine!! You made it so easy, wish the instructions that came with it were that clear! 😄
a neighbor gave one of those, not same brand but your video gave an idea how this tool works, thank you so much!
Thanks Marlo!!! I was just telling my hubs that those of you kind enough to take their time to show those of us who might me paper direction challenged, how to assemble and work equipment. Thanks, my blower is older than Moses, lost the manual years ago. This was a great help.
this vid just saved me. I had no idea how to attach the vacuum. Thanks Marlon
You're welcome :-)
I appreciate this Sir. Your video saved me time and let me get to the mulch-mode within seconds.

Thanks for the vid. I just bought one today. I was hesitant but I’m glad I did after watching this.
Thanks man!
I got lucky this afternoon, Just bought a slightly used one still in the box for $9.95 at my local Goodwill. WORKS GREAT! Has surprising power.
Yo this was one of the best review/tutorial videos I've seen on RUclips! Pretty much perfect! Great job!
Thank you for this video. The manual on the company website did not have any details on how to use the device as a mulcher.
100% helpful. We were totally clueless on how to assemble the vacuum.
Thanks :-)
Thanks for the video. It saved me some time and help me overcome the very sparse instructions provided.
Thanks Marlon!! I was going nuts, this was a clear and informative video. Keep up the good work. Black and Decker should send you nice fat cheques.
You made my day man! That thing was getting on my nerves. Thanks a lot.
Great job explaining without wasted words. Very helpful. Thanks!!
I just bought mine and I love how easily the parts click in to place. Thank you for this awesome video!
great video and it was an easy set-up. Trying to make sense of the instruction manual was frustrating. another RUclips Video saves the day
I am in my yard right now with this thang, THANK GOODNESS for your video and my iPhone!!
Thanks :-)
Hey brother thank you so much for this video!! Love your channel keep helping out the community 🫶🏻
Great video. To the point without the irrelevant chatter. Appreciate you.

Thank you! I purchased this for mulching purposes and didn't know I could use it as a blower too! I almost bought a separate one.
Thanks for video. I was curious to see what the mulch looked like.
Thank you for thar video...! Great job, now I know what replacement parts to order! Have a great day!
Thank you Marlon for this quick and easy demo ;). You made it look so simple!
Thank you - your demo was so much easier to follow than the instructions that came with it !
You're more than welcome! Sorry for the reply delay (holiday :-)
Thank you I had no idea how to assemble this Great vid👍
great I'm looking to buy one for the cottage and found this helpful vid - thanx for making. All the best :)
Thanks for the help I couldn’t unhook the lock to attach the mulcher gonna try it now
Thank you!! I lost my instructions and your video was a great help.
No problemo :-)
Thanks for the quick walk through to convert to a vacuum
This is a must have for me. Makes life easier from raking.
Thank you. I just got this thing and the instructions were a little confusing. My question is how do you get that first tube together, the one you said you can no longer get apart again. Very helpful..I have a question will the customer let you use their wall plug or you have to have your own
THANK YOU THANK YOU for posting this. The instructions that came with it were not so helpful. YOU ARE MY HERO!!!
Thank you for your review. I'm leaning toward getting this unit over the Toro 51621.
Thanks
Thank you for the demonstration👍🏽 excellent 💯
Thanks...Got my Sunday paper and Menards has a nice sale on this...I'm going to buy this...Thanks again
No problemo. Glad you liked vid. Good luck on the blower!
Thank you for this it was pretty difficult to figure out on my own
I'm sold. I'll buy one. Thanks. Black and Decker should be paying you...
Thanks :-)

Hi, I set it up as you have shown but it won't start? I don't know why. Can you suggest why?
Thanks! I was wondering how to set mine up!
Thanks so much for posting this!
No problemo :-)
Thanks for helping me set mine up.
Marlon ... if ur still there... I know that I am late to the party, but THANK YOU...!!!
I would have liked to see how finely it shredded the leaves. Sorry you didn't open the bag and show us.
So I have rocks instead of grass and I need to use something like this but I'm wondering if the vacuum will suck up the small rocks.
You’re a life saver! Thanks!
Thank you so much. I really needed this help.
Thank you.
I'm cleaning out a window well. Can you leave both tubes on and just suck the leafs out and with the big tube and blow them out on the lawn with the small tube, or doesn't it have suction?
Great vid bro. Exactly what I need to see.
I wonder what happens if it sucks up a bottle cap or small twig hidden under the leaves?
Thanks for sharing your review. EXCELLENT!!! Great intro music also.
Thank you brother this really helped me!
i have one of these and mine quit on me. have u had any problems with yours?
My bottom cover was able to hang down while the blower attachment was on. Seemed like it was working out. Might be a solution for people weary of losing peices.
Straight to the point! 🙌🏽 Thx
No problemo bro!
Thank you....Way better than the stupid hand directions...Thanks again
Please the link to buy. How much does it cost?
Nice video! Thanks for posting!
Very useful. Thanks for the help
This video made me make the purchase & the unit cost less then $75.00
☝ Uh question... I thought this item was cordless? I see you had it plugged in in the blowing phase...
Thank you so much, cause I was so confused! you helped me!
No problemo. Thanks!
Thank you for this video. Its really well appreciated ☺
Amazon should post your RUclips video, so helpful.

That bottom black switch ? Impossible to remove , I don’t even see a switch the press to remove the bottom piece to get to the mulcher
Thank you, Marlon!
Thank you for this video.
Good show , looking at your yard you would be better off chopping the few leaves you have with a lawnmower and throwing some seed down to get the grass growing.
black and decker has many models, please include the model number.
Can you vacuum debris without mulching.
You missed a step when opening the bottom, you need to unlock it before the switch will work. I returned mine this cheap crap doesnt have the power to mulch lots of leaves.
Thank you so much for your clear instructions!
Thanks great information
Thanks :-)
Does anyone know if it’s possible to dissemble the 2 black tubes? (The ones he can’t take apart ?) If so, how ?? In the manual they are labeled numbers 6 & 7? Thanks ! :)
share the details of your extension cord please
Would this work for getting up cut grass?
It might. Especially if it's a pile. I've used this to pick up those round pointy things that fall off Buckeye trees.
Soo the vacuum is not as strong as I thought it would be, my blower won’t even turn over, got about 5 minutes of work done blowing leaves, and that was It

So after buying 3 you decided, "No more"?
I bought two in the last two years… switch failure, seal broken. FI
What kind of plug do I need
Great video I’m a visual learner don’t have time to use instruction manual
What happens to the mulcher blade if you accidentally suck up a rock?
I honestly don't know.
TU. they have changed the release latch now you need a screwdriver.
WV591 how do I do it with a screw driver
