I have been a thrifter for years. My home is mostly thrifted as well. There is nothing like having unique treasures in your home. Great video & beautiful home!
That’s how I got my Viking range & dishwasher! An appliance store near me was relocating & I purchased floor models. They weren’t *that* cheap, but I saved about 50% on each appliance.
I have a beautiful antique wardrobe, too! My parents got it from a deceased estate for next to nothing when I was a kid. I am lucky enough to have a few of their antique items: in addition to the wardrobe, I have a display cabinet, dresser and a washstand.
Your kitchen is gorgeous! Requesting more birth videos:) just about nursing and labor and pregnancy etc. love your content!
I really get what you’re saying. I’m a thrifter as well and the things I’ve found are some of my favorites in my home. There are times I walk into a big box store and I look around and think, this is all going to end up in the landfill in just a short time!
I also have thrifted pretty much my entire home. Nothing like a good antique shop.
I absolutely love your channel. Thank you for sharing your home, life and family. You are gorgeous inside and out and you have helped this older "work from home" wife and mom improve habits and learn a lot including your recipes. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! ❤
Hello Stephanie, I am addicted to your content. It makes me so happy that young women are finding homemaking a rewarding vocation. I don’t want to bring any negativity to you because I think you are a genius and your home is beautiful and you are doing such a good job. Your children and husband are blessed. Please look into what Thrive Market gives 10% of their proceeds to.
Thank you for all you do.
Where do 10% of their proceeds go? I can’t find the answer on google
@ the Thrive Market
company has committed to a 10% For Women initiative, where 10 percent of their profits will go towards supporting women's reproductive healthcare. Sustain's partners include Planned Parenthood and the Breast Cancer Fund
Love your home, it’s so beautiful. I to am a big thrifter, i’ve found many beautiful things, for so cheap. It’s such a good way to furnish your home. 😊🇨🇦
I loved loved triple loved this video, would love a full tour of your home as I love your style! My sister and I are big thrifters but styling is a whole other world!
We are currently buying peices for our new home that is being finished up and just bought an oak dining table that we got for a steal at $2100! I can’t wait to see it all come together and get settled into our new home 🤗
I love that wallpaper and how you painted the lower wall and doors that gorgeous pink color. She has a true "authentic" princess room. I love your family, home and channel! You know that I tell ya often. Your catholic friend in OHIO Nancy
Hey Steph, 3 things
1. I’m in love with your new piece. It was a lot of money, but one day it will float through your lineage and be worth more than it could ever cost in dollars.
2. I’m loving those jeans! Would you have a link for them?
3. I’ve been staring at your island lights for months and months. Where did you find them? They are amazing!
Thanks! Looking forward to the next video!
I love the pendant lights in the kitchen
I always love your videos and how honest and straightforward you are. We just donated our entire 5 bedroom house furniture (from beds to silverware) to a family in need when we decided to travel full time so we have zero furniture in our possession now. Because of this video someday if we decide to stop traveling and build I will buy thrifted pieces because you're so right new stuff is junk and not cheap either. Plus I'm a lover of character and the sleek straight line furniture available now is not pretty to me. Just my opinion obviously but even when we build my house will be a new build but made to look old if that makes sense!
You may not be the best but you are gifted. My mom always told me to collect frames. Lovely video.
Hey Stephanie, This video was great! A lot of helpful tips and funny stories. I laughed out loud at your FB story when you said you didnt want to be murdered going to pick something up. I feel the same way. God bless you and your family and keep up the great work ! Supporting you lady!! Heather- Florida
Hi Stephanie, Beautiful home! Looking forward to your gut health update and what worked for you 😊
I’m still waiting for a good 12 person table..in the meantime…we have a painted white 9 ft folding table…I’m willing to wait. I’d love to find a table like yours. Love it.
I just love yout house and what you have done with it. The furniture and antique look is something I really love myself and I wished I had great Antique pieces at thrift shops near me but unfortunately not. Thank you for sharing ❤
Your home is so warm and well put together. The layout intrigues me. Did you guys design and build it or is it another beautiful part of history that is found all over your aesthetic?
We got kitchen aid high end appliances and they lasted us 20 years they were such good quality great investment
I love your kitchen it’s so inviting. Love your refrigerator and freezer I could see me putting those to use and it’s just me and my husband! lol
I love thrifting. I’m from Waco and so many of the thrift/junk/antique “hole in the wall” stores have become expensive.
Thrifting brings me so much joy! I’ve passed it on to my kids and they love going thrifting with me (especially my 16 year old). Saves us so much money.
I work outside of my home and when I joined my last company, thrifting was on my bio :). I’m an accountant, so it’s completely different from what I do for my day job. People think because I have a salary I should buy new things - no way! What’s the fun in that?
Thanks for sharing everything. You are so wise.
I love thrifting as well! And excited about the gut health update!
I got my vintage dining table on Facebook marketplace too! Absolutely LOVE it!
Oh yay postpartum me wants to watch the gut health video! I’ve been doing low carb for the last 8 weeks, since babe was 4 weeks but the weight is stubborn, and I want to look good but more importantly feel good.
I love your antique furniture so nice:) Are you going to do a Christmas decoration vlog 😂I can’t wait:)😄🏠
I loooove your home! I love thrifting too!❤
Love your home! Very warm beautiful!😊
I love your glasses 😊
Love all your video's your house is Beautiful ✌️🩵😊🦃Happy Thanksgiving ☃️🎄🍂🍁
Great video. Loved it all!
I would love to also know about the layout of your kitchen. It’s very unique and I would love to know the thoughts behind the layout. New follower and enjoying your content!
I was just going to come to the comments to ask you if you would share more about how you’ve been eating. I’m 10 weeks postpartum and would love to know more about your journey. You look great! Excited for that upcoming video.
Your daughter’s room is beautiful.
Off topic but your my favourite wise mum, not sure if you have these in your corner of the world. any tips on threadworm/pinworm in babies? He’s too little for the medication 😢 I’m at a loss
Much love 💕
You’ve done such a good job at it. I feel like my house is a hodgepodge of things.
Beautiful treasures! FYI…when I took a tour in Salem, MA, we were told homes didn’t have closets, because they were taxed on them for anything built in.
Yes, my stove that is very expensive was WAY under retail as a model closeout!
I’m in Australia and I never find these sorts of beautiful old decor or furniture
Would you possibly be open to doing another video on how you co sleep and when you start to let them sleep in a crib? I know you did one before, but I’m a first time mom to a 6 month old of my first successful pregnancy. He sleeps right next to me, but I’m curious how to start slowly getting him used to a crib (although I’m not ready to lose seeing his sweet face )
Just FYI there is NO FOREVER home!! We have built three homes, a lake home and trust me God can change things in a heartbeat!!! Also taking showroom models can work out but it doesn’t change how ridiculous the repair costs are on those models….I know because I have done it!!! They do,NOT a offer warranties so that makes them very risky! This build we went with kitchen Aid and the highest end of those products and I am so happy!!!! Just do your research and we have a steam oven!!!!
My house is the same way in thrifting things.
I don't know if you've mentioned before but would you be so kind as to tell me where you like to buy your glasses frames? Not sure my current ones can survive more of my 20 month old baby boy. I love how big they are!
Hi Steph , you have a beautiful home darling. Could you take us to a thrift store? Lisa xxx England ❤❤❤
Please make thrive market available in Canada!
I was wondering what color you painted your kitchen? Looking for a color like that to paint my own kitchen.
Enjoyed the video 😊
Would you share some of your research found on microwaves. I would be really interested anything you have. Thank you
“Patience is power. Patience is not an absence of action; rather, it is “timing”; it waits on the right time to act, for the right principles and in the right way.”
Talk about landfills, I hate plastics, not because I’m some environmental activist but I just remember a barge full of plastics and junk just at a drift on the ocean. It’s disgusting and gross. It really helps me to just buy things made of natural materials. I saw a video of the Carmelites of Fairfield Pa. They are building a monastery and the why they are doing it is nothing short of miraculous. You have to look them up. Everything has to be natural and beautiful, even the utility room.
Hi Stephanie, I love your daughter's room. What's the name and brand of the pink paint in her room?
Stephanie, which toaster oven did you end up using? I’m in the market for one as well.
Will you start sharing the Thrive orders please? :)
Love your c clases
We have a wolf too
Where did you get your couch?? My family is looking for a new one, but we are thrifty and would love to not have to buy new😂 but we live in a really rural area so there are not great Facebook marketplace options.
Is your Bridgeport sweater in mocha or light brown?!
What do you do for enjoyment or for fun?
Lol about fb market we can go together 😂 someone will live to tell the story!!!
Do you still have the 20% off inglesina high chair? I have been trying to thrift one with no luck.
Does anyone know a way to get on Thrive Market and look at the products and prices without signing up first?
We got a Brass Beds of Virginia king size brass bed at a Salvation Army for $100.
I recently picked up a vintage green velvet couch on FBM for $250. I didn't even try to haggle because we'd been searching at antique stores and knew that was a great price.
Lol my fiance says anything i thrift is haunted😅
Did you know the ingredient “Spices” can be anything “unknown “ to the consumer 😮 any kind of chemical’s etc within that word spices doesn’t have to be revealed to the consumers 😮
That piano was just not meant to be lol
😂 FB market place murder
Ikwym
I’m calling BS on the steam oven, not $50.00
Your baby was screaming. Wth
Shut up. Shut up. Shut up u rude wench.
Oh sorry was that rude and none of my business? So was ur comment:)
He wasn't screaming for his mother. It sounds to me like he was in the other room being entertained by an adult or some older kids. My baby/toddler would entertain himself for a while with a toy he was fascinated with and he'd sometimes make screeching sounds.
@@magiccitymama1620agreed!
Yes babies scream. A home with kids is loud. If you have kids you’d know that. Get over it. Her kids are healthy and happy. Bug off.
Have your babies never screamed before?
