I just thought I was bipolar...just realized that my mother is a covert narcissist and I've attracted a lot of narcissists. I know I have the potential to love and be loved. I'm a spice of lifer working through your course now, thank you!

Thank you for this video. It totally resonates with me. I live as a highly sensual person. Experincing the exquisite beauty in Art poetry, nature, music, literature, dance and sex I attract people easily and love how I appear to make them happy, unlifted and inspired. I feel great love in relationships and can openly express. Until..... the shadow side appears...I can exhaust myself from giving, feeling, and intuiting so much. I withdraw and distrust peoples' feeling towards me. Suspecting their love or adoration is because of what I offer to them rather than knowing the whole of me. I feel a tremendous amount of guilt when I do withdraw from people as they are often hurt and confused. Part of me feels like a fake because I'm not all positivity, energy and love. I have bursts of creativity and success in my business followed by inactivity or just maintaining.
I used to think I was bo-polar but the diagnoses says I'm not.
I feel I'm not achieving what I'm capable of and often doubt my worth of life. This pendulum way of living is so frustrating.
Committed to understanding myself and how I am the way I am I learn so much with each passing year. The recent awareness of adult attachment styles have been a revelation. I'm working on giving myself more compassion and improving my communication in relationships.
A message to all people reading this....be well, treat yourself kindly and with love. You are deserving.

Same because we’re both anxious and avoidant our experience can mirror what it’s like to feel bipolar or come off as if we are to others! 🤧😅

I never really understood why I was over abundant in my love for animals, and I am an artist, spice of lifer and was s severely abused as a child. Hypervigulent and been told charismatic. Wow. Thank you Briana!

This is literally the first time I've ever heard anyone talk about the strengths of the Spice of Lifer. Thank you so much. I needed to watch this today.

Never EVER heard anyone mentioning disorgranized attachment as anything but a purely negative thing, so thank you. Last time I had a conflict (last week) in a relationship I actually wrote a song haha. Good points. "Lead to a sense of feeling nothing at all." This is how I acquired Depersonalization Disorder in 2010.

Creativity...yes! I draw (especially if I feel overwhelmed); write songs (when young used to write stories and poems); can solve problems in creative ways, thinking out of the box.
Understand much more the human mind, can read tone of voice and body language much easier.
Can stay calm and solve other people's crisis without much problems but usually sucks at solving ourselves crisis 😅
Deep connection with animals and children

Well, I guess I’m both a spice of lifer and a open heart. But mostly sol. The last part where you talked about unresolved trauma from a highly punitive parent, resulting in the sol projecting that onto children and pets terrifies me and is why I’m so afraid to have kids. And now I see why I was harsh while training my puppy. God I feel awful now. It’s like I can’t even stop myself from being like him.

@KDR Ohhhh others don't feel those things as deeply? 😂Or do those particular things as enthusiastically!?😊
Is this why you understnd my "numb" with "not Mitch?" 😅 and ever since? I don't wanna be numb anymore. I'm ready, I'm ready-ish for slow, special, connection, fun, not scary, not mean, not pathologically withholding vital communication, not intimacy stingy, not one foot out the door always. I'm ready for real. You?

Great info but it’s confusing when you use the term Spice of Lifer, Rolling Stone, etc. I can’t remember which attachment style you are referring to.
