Screen is better than my sis iphone 11, and my gf iph7. Those amoled panels are really dope. Today ism y 3rd day and 1st time charging it. Great phone so far I'm not regretting. And it has 3,5 mm jack so I can finally listen to music on my old headphones lol.

tbh the samsung a71 will last you longer, why? m51= 2 year major OS updates, 3 year security updates A71= 3 year major OS updates, 4 year security updates also the materials that were used on the a71 is considerably more premium than the m51

I wish all phone manufacturers in general would follow what the M51 does, its only slightly thicker and has a massive battery, i would rather have my phone be 2-3mm thicker and have it be able to last 2 to 3 days without charging it, or use it super heavily throughout the day and still pull through

@@benjaminholloway8106 its really good too, and in my opinion the whole problem of the exynos vs the snapdragon chip is less prevalent simply because of the price, their both basically flagship chips, if you don't have an extra $100 or so to spend get the non 5G version then.
I bought m51 one week ago. My old phone was a s9. -The battery is great(2 days) -Its very responsive and fluid. -The screen is full hd so compare to my s9 its a downgrade but I am used to it now and I like it very much. The hole punch, hate it but what to do all phones has that now -The connectivity its also great (wireless and mobile) better than s9 and I was so anxious since some people are complaining about that -The back its plastics but i never understood why should I care about the back?! System update... I am at 1 nov 20 but why?! Camera its slightly better than my s9, but camera its not something that i care that much so maybe I am wrong Conclusion Very very happy with this phone. Way better than the s9. Strongly recommended Bought it for about 370 dollars If you have any question please feel free to ask

In my country, Galaxy M51 & A71 both are sold at the same price . Both cost about 437$ here. Explanation: The price of A71 has been reduced temporarily till October 31st by Samsung. This is why I can get A71 at the price of M51 .
M51 One UI core (lighter version) with less features, hate it. A71 One UI ( Fuller version) with all the features, love it. No one talks about this in the comparison videos, which is very important. So for me A71 is the best.
Samsung has the A71 under its 3yrs software updates and has better optimizations with extra KNOX security than the M51. You're paying the extra for the software in the A71

For me I really like M51 but not having Knox Security and the other features that comes with One UI in A71 is such a turn off for me. So I guess I'll go with A71.
I have and A715G but would have definitely have chosen the M51 if it were available in the US. I don't know why razor thinness is more important than a phone that's not chunky but has a 7000mah battery. Now that we can't get into the battery compartment, to quickly swap in a fresh battery, which I think is a crime and deserves a class action law suit, a 7000mah battery is simply awesome, all else being equal. And since we have to deal with that stupid camera bump on the back of the A1 which rocks the phone when sitting on a table without a case, bringing that back of the phone flush with the camera would be personally more aesthetically pleasing to me and would mean the case wouldn't add much more bull to protect the cameras. I want and M51!

Very similar phones biggest difference imo is that the m51 has a bigger battery and is pretty hard to get in the USA and the a71 is easy to get in the USA and imo looks better

I have been wondering about the differences of both phones but as you stated there is not a big one apart from the battery. But while watching your review I noticed a slight flickering on the M51 screen which us not visible on the A71. Can you confirm this in actual comparison or is it just appearing on video? I tend to use phones on a rather lower light level. So if that is an issue I would be interested to know. However the M51 seems to be a very good phone though. Don't worry, it's just the same as your phone but just longer battery life, so you're not missing out anything important other than that, if I'm not doing heavy use everyday, i wouldn't care.

I see around 60% of the American Operators' bands supported in Indian version of M51. So far I have seen only Google Pixel and iPhone support all the available bands used across the world. May be some flagships have. Again I am not sure what happens when you are around a tower that falls in that remaining 40%. Note : I did a brief research. I am not well aware of network bands and frequencies.

no it wouldnt. note 7 had 3500 mah, and now most phones are way above that. note 7 had a specific problem, its not related to battery capacity. and also this m51 has been out about a month now and no one is having any issue.

core your missing features like knox, secure folder, always on display, good lock, edge tab etc. Does perform pretty fast though for dayto day tasks.

Hey does the m51 work with LTE in the USA
I see around 60% of the American Operators' bands supported in Indian version of M51.
So far I have seen only Google Pixel and iPhone support all the available bands used across the world. May be some flagships have. Again I am not sure what happens when you are around a tower that falls in that remaining 40%.
Note :
I did a brief research. I am not well aware of network bands and frequencies.

@@karlofrancisbitare4503 But I am happy with my A71 though. I've been using this for 7 months now. I have installed a lot of super heavy aircraft simulator and also more than 2 editing apps that can render 4k res withouth any problem.
I am happy that A71 did came first here in the Philippines first. My original plan was the A51 but sadly it came a bit delayed.

The m51 doesnt have a flicker mode I'm assuming. You wont see this in real life, its because of the camera being used to record the phone
I just got the A11 its awesome for what the money is worth, but I wish it had a better ultra wide camera.

A 71 will receive 3 years of updates compared to 2 years of m51 😊

M51 has a sony imx682 but the a71 has a Samsung sensor, and i feel that m51's camera is better

I've ordered M51 8GB for 23,500 in india. but i want to experience and show off a flagship device. I'm getting a deal of rupes 23,500 on iPhone 8 refurbished (Grade Superb) and S9 plus refurbished (Grade Good) for 20,999.
please help really confused man and I've also ordered a 10000Mah Powerbank to compensate for the battery back up on the flagship phones.

@@rasikshakya9497 i mean dont get me wrong they are both good phones for their price the m31 has an upper hand in terms of battery but the a51 is a more premium feel with samsung softwares supported you should decide whether you would likr the bigger battery or an overall more premium phone but as i said before they are both phones you wont regret buying so i can safely say go ahead and buy wichever one suits you best for me i am planning on buying the a71 but if i had to choose between these 2 the a51 seems a bit more enticing to me but that is just personal preference

no it wouldnt. note 7 had 3500 mah, and now most phones are way above that. note 7 had a specific problem, its not related to battery capacity. and also this m51 has been out about a month now and no one is having any issue.

If it does it won't have as much media coverage because its not a flagship that everyone buys.
