- A 3-2 zone, which morphs into a 2-3 zone look as the ball moves from the top of the perimeter to the corners. The term "Monster" denotes the big/forward positioned at the top of the zone, whose responsibility is to mirror the ball both up and down from that high starting position to the elbow and block as the ball is passed along the perimeter, consistently positioning themself at the level of the ball. This is the Dr. Tom Davis point drop matchup. We’ve been using it for about 30 years. We started calling it Monster in 2004. Hmmmmmm
also known as 3 2 drop zone
I been using this defense this year and it has really confused a lot of our opponents so far
Way to use an original defense and not take something someone else came up with! And take credit for it.
I'm considering a 2-1-2 zone with the "1" moving ball side in a free floating responsibility, double team @ the 3 pt line, if someone cuts through the lane, float back and cut off the passing lanes... just a high energy option.
@jdramirez77 Did you ever do you 2-1-2? if so what did it look like?
@@shantaylegans7254 it would be next year... And truth be told... It would be with rec players so it will look like a shit show.
Very good video
Thank you!
This is horrible defense
