I know when I’m vlogging so it inspires me to do more in my day! Many week days are like this but on weekends I just have fun lol! (Unless an exam is coming :p ) thank you though :) we all inspire each other to be the best versions of ourselves

Hi Amanda! I'm not sure if you're gonna see this comment bc this video is super old aha but I'm about to start school at ucla in 3 weeks, and I'm actually looking to apply for jobs right now. I want to work at the bookstore or someplace where I wouldn't have to be doing a lot of heavy lifting or running around campus, but there haven't been any offers on bookstore jobs. Would you recommend working in a lab? Also I don't know if you'd remember but what was the interviewing process like? I'm starting to stress out a little because I want to get a job before school starts n I don't know just the thought of needing to apply for a new job low-key freaks me out lol

I started following you in highschool because I saw that you were premed at ucla. I’m going into my senior year of college now, I graduate in may, and I honestly haven’t kept up like I had planned to but I was wondering if you have any videos of what’s going on or what happened during college that I could watch?? I sae that you graduated but you’re still in school? And you’re still premed I’m assuming from your insta but you’re just now in organic chem? Which i’m assuming means you havent taken the mcat yet?? I’m just really intrigued on knowing what the path is that you took haha, or, are taking rather. I’m taking a gap year between med school as well (if that’s what you’re doing)! Haha.
I'm retaking level 1 organic chem because I didn't get an A and I need an A lol :P I'm graduated for requirements (technically the o chem was "passing" therefore passing for my degree) but I am retaking it and just taking a beatles class for fun because I was going to be around for the summer anyway! I haven't taken the mcat that is next on my to do list once I'm done with these summer classes! I wanted to wait to take it until I did well in chem so I wouldn't have to relearn it when taking the mcat and just be able to be familiar with the information so I don't have to study and recap so much :) this is my gap year!! so it will be a busy one for me! I'm planning to get a job as a cna or scribe to get more clinical experience as well during this year!
Wow such a quick response lol thank you! Okay nice that’s really cool! Yeah I just started a research position at my school’s cardiovascular center. Really hoping I can get published before it’s time for me to graduate! I’ve been pretty involved so we’ll see! I totally understand the clinical experience. I have heard however that some med schools see scribing as just glorified shadowing haha that forces you to take notes, and that cna or medical assistant or phlebotomist is “fancied” a bit more I guess. I’m looking into one of those for my gap year as well. Good luck with the mcat!! It has me so stressed haha but I know we’ll kill it! :) well wishes from one hopeful premed to another!❤️❤️

What is your experience with UCLA physics series for life science? Would you say they are doable for those with little physics background?
Definitely doable! You just have to work at it harder to keep up :) I wouldn’t do the physics abroad if you don’t have a background in it (which many students do!) which is why I chose to take the physics series at UCLA I had actually great professors! It wasn’t too bad :) and I had 0 physics background and am terrible at math lol

Do you prefer committing to ucla?
I enjoy living here more! Driving in peak la traffic everyday was very stressful for me! I did enjoy my time to listen to music and podcasts in the car though :p
And I enjoyed being with my family more!
