My friend you have to come to America and experience supercross. If you think that was crazy you have to this shit. These guys are absolutely insane and you don’t have to do much digging there’s tons of stuff about it online. These guys are absolutely insane and we have riders from all over the world competing to win 100k each weekend for 17 rounds. At the end of the year after the outdoor series we have a 3 race series that combines indoors and outdoor and the riders race for 1 million dollars at the final round of the 3 race playoffs. The level is absolutely insane guys jumping jumps that don’t even make sense and going so fast they defy the laws of physics. Seriously check it out
I always considered the motocross family of sports to be the manliest thing on the planet- mud and single cylinder engines. However... arenacross and the American supercross are somewhat... dumbed down? Pussified? compared to normal motocross and its perpetually suicidal cousin, sidecar-cross. Well, from a perspective of a biker at least- manufacturers have a much smaller importance on shorter tracks, and while we like to bang on about motorcykle brotherhood and stuff, we all want to see OUR manufacturer win, regardless of who rides it (or, if that's impossible, we'll be satisfied if we see honda fail). By the way- this year's Motocross des Nations (a team world championship) is in the autumn at Winchester, if you can- go. (CAUTION: you must like/tolerate tenting, or at least sitting for a few hours on damp grass. It is a manly sport afterall)
Arenacross and Supercross are more dangerous and physically demanding that outdoors at the pro level. You sound like a beginner. Sidecar cross is basically mx with training wheels
@@dhprojects3296 Arenacross and supercross are sometimes more phisically demanting for riders, but never really for the bikes. You sound like an American.
Thanks for coming out to the event! It's also really nice to see a different spin on a video about our sport! 👍👍

HI! IVE SEEN A FEW MOTOCROSS CLIPS!
I've always considered motorcycle racers of any kind as having balls of steel, or just being absolutely insane
They’re nuts mate, and tbf the balls have to be steel to survive those jumps
As a rider I can confirm the second one is facts
Cool episode man. Never heard of this before. ✌🏻
